Here's how it works:
1. Download the app (for free) and connect to your dermatologist. Tell us where you live (zip code), and we will recommend a doctor to you, or you can select from any doctor in your home state.
2. Take photos of your skin, hair or nail concern, and complete a medical intake comprised of a few simple questions about your primary concern, symptoms, a medical history, allergies, and anything else you'd like to tell us about your skin issue.
3. Your dermatologist will evaluate your case, diagnose your condition, and recommend a personalized treatment plan, including prescriptions if necessary. You tell us where to send the prescription, too. Your choice of pharmacy!

Dr. Antoanelle Calame is wonderful. It was really easy to set up and she responded very timely. Even more impressive was how thorough she was and explained everything in a clear and precise manner. I've seen other dermatologists before and she is by far the best. Love the convenience of doing everything online without having to call and set an appointment during my extremely busy work week.
Super happy with my experience. Great care, advice and it was as convenient as it gets. Very happy with SkyMD App and Dr.Calame. She offered the most effective medications but offered to assist with less expensive options if needed. Offered free follow up visit as well! Definitely surpassed my expectations and then some.
I tried a different app like this one and didn't like it at all it didn't work. so I researched and found this one, I have nothing but good things to say. My experience was way better then I expected, dr. Peppercorn was awesome, he is very knowledgeable,explains everything, makes you feel comfortable, listens to you, he cares, follows up and answers all questions quickly. He has made my experience great and I will use this app again if I need to and hopefully I get to have him again as my dr.
I had acne on my scalp for countless years without ever being resolved. I would have bumps and redness all over it, and I couldn't wait any longer and looked to find a dermatologist. Dr. Wright, on SkyMD, gave me several solution, and after taken medication he suggested, I was astonished to find my new clean scalp. I still cannot believe how clean it is! SkyMD is much more affordable than showing up in-person, so much easier to get diagnosed, and is reviewed by best dermatologist. Don't be hesitant because it's on an app.
Its was the most efficient doc appointment in my life , it took only a few minutes to get myself a proper diagnosis and a prescription. In fact , i did it during my work break. The app itself is smooth and easy to navigate
Very Helpful app. Just like seeing a real doctor, except for without the need to leave the house. Especially useful if you have any questions that may be uncomfortable in person, makes the process alot more comfortable.
I'm very busy and don't have time to go to the doctor, so this app was super convenient for me! I received my diagnosis and prescription in less than 24 hours and honestly, it was way more thorough than any physical doctor visit that I've ever had! I especially appreciate the accessibility to the doctor and being able to message her with photos within 7 days of my submission.
Best online dermatology site hands down(app doesnt work great all of the time). I have tried several online derm apps and encountered some horror shows where you couldn't even talk to your physicians. With SkyMD, I was required to do a zoom meeting with my physician and really felt like everything was explained well and he was thoughtful about the care I was receiving. I will never go elsewhere for my skin care.
Exceptionally quick and courteous team! This app made getting a refill for my dermatology prescription so easy! Absolutely recommend. I needed a prior authorization done and it never went well for me, I usually would wait a week for my doctor's team to submit it. The team at SkyMD did everything the same day. I was surprised for such attention to details from the dermatologist who recommended me things that really helped and the staff communicated with me all the way until I got my script.👍
I have been trying for ten minutes to condense my gratitude into 500 characters. I'm a real human with no incentive to publish this review except I am just so happy with these results. My rosacea had advanced to a degree that was physically painful, but my doctor's intervention two months ago a has my skin looking the clearest it has in years. This is NOT Curology, it is contact with a real dermatologist who prescribes real medication. I cannot speak highly enough of my experience. A+!
At times like this when its practically impossible to get an appointment with a dermatologist this app was a life saver! I had a rash for 3 months and urgent care was the only place I could go but they couldn't figure out what it was. Through this app I got diagnosed and got my medication. They even sent me to get blood tests and answered all my questions. Best part was my insurance company covered it so I got my money back. For someone suffering like me 89 bucks is nothing.
Thing is awesome. I went years with a horrible disfigured face now im hit on by random women. Took maybe a week to cure me. Less than 6 hrs I was looked at by a great Dr. I took a few pics sent em in got diagnosed picked up my meds at my local walmart. I Highly recommend the app! I paid out of pocket 78 bucks and another 80 for meds really cheap glad i dont pay insurance!
Excellent service! Dr. Nikki Tang was very friendly, informative, and responsive. The app itself is very easy to use, I did all of my visit over the chat and got a response in less than 24hrs and on a weekend! Would 100% reccomend and will continue to use after all this COVID crazziness.
Doctor was very helpful and seems like the prescription is working as intended. The only downside was the long wait times. Took 24+ hours for an initial response with follow up questions, then about 2 days to get another response with a diagnosis. But the prescription was sent asap to my pharmacy and was ready for pickup the next morning. Would give 3.5 stars if given the option, very easy to use and straight forward but would be superb with a quicker response times.
Love it so far! Easy and the Dr was very polite and attentive. No need to take leave from work and drive to an appointment. The Dr even shopped around for the pharmacy in my area with the cheapest prescriptions. 5 stars all the way! My only suggestion is to allow the user to select which Dr they choose, not just connect you with one.
Used for the first time. Submitted all the required info and photos and within an hour I was assigned to a doctor, and a few hours later I had a video visit with him since my insurance requires it. He was friendly and professional. Sent my scripts to the pharmacy. It was very easy to use and I will definitely use it again when needed.
The doctor assigned to me is very fast responding and hits all of my concerns as well as provides me with affordable options and recommendations. I was hesitant to use this app at first but I absolutely love it and will use this as my primary dermatologist.
Not rating the app so much as the service, but wow I'm so happy I used it! I was able to get a prescription I needed without even having to speak to a dermatologist in person. I would definitely recommend it for busy people who don't have time to go into a doctor's office
Update: Maybe it's not a scam afterall. Finally got some medication 14 days later and 38 days later for the other meds. The"visit" is text message format and lasted about one week because of approx. 24 hour delayed responses from skymd. Refused to refill my script I've been using for years and they never responded to the pharmacy, resulting in no medication for two weeks. It's $90 for each visit because insurance companies don't cover e-visits. If you can wait a month for meds, go for it.
Doctor was Experienced, Caring, sensitive to my budget, and took the time to diagnose my symptoms while prescribing meds that required medical oversight. They even back bill insurance! Exactly what I wished for when picking a Dermatologist, all from the comfort of my pajamas, with no wait!
It took a few days due to discussing options but I've never had such clear cut directions. I also liked how it wasn't rushed and onto the next patient like you get at many of the physical doctor's offices. Dr. Chiang was responsive, asked multiple questions and dealt with my concerns. Even with my insurance not being accepted it still only charged me $79.
Great service! App is a little behind UI-wise, but still, easy to use, quick same-day diagnosis, and friendly service!
This app is absolutely amazing, super easy to use and very helpful. I was able to upload my information and photos with no problem and within a few hours I had a doctor give me my diagnosis and submitting my prescription to my local pharmacy. Great way to get prescriptions for issues already known to you. I'm sure they're helpful in diagnosing new issues as well. Definitely great for someone with a busy schedule.
Simple and convenient. I was able to get an evaluation and prescriptions within a day. Doctor asked thorough questions and it was the same, if not better, experience than going in person.

I got the prescription I needed! It was fast and easy. I wish the actual doctors office was this speedy and to the point. I can't say enough wondering things about Dr. Calame! I was a little apprehensive about doing a video chat only because I wasn't sure how the process worked or if my issue would be able to be determined over a computer! Dr. Calame was so amazing and any worry I ever had was gone just by how friendly she is! It felt like I was talking to a friend! I will continue to see Dr. Calame with any issues I may have in the future!! She's absolutely amazing!!!
Update: There was a delay and I was able to get it to work. I hope in the future they can make it so that you can still use the outdated app for a period of time after the update is pushed to avoid the issue of downtime. Original Review: App won't let me into the main menu. Keeps saying that there's an update and redirects me to Play store. Once I'm in Play store there's no option to download a newer app. I think the service is great but this error keeps happening so I can't use it.
