360 died 3 years ago got XB1 to replace only now got Skyrim Jan 2018 for it. Missed the game. Kept the app on my phone this whole time. It helps me constantly make the same potions over and over again. Thanks for making the Best Alchemy Skyrim app ever!!!
Tried em all. This one beats those better rated one BY FAR. Must be artificially inflated ratings on the other ones. Download this one first. Has all DLC ingredients also.
easy to use great help in keeping up with resources
perfect, just what all Skyrim players need.🤘🏻🐝🤘🏻
Okay, I have to say, it is good, but, I had a different one but then I deleted it, so I chose this one, meh. (Sorry about all the commas.)
Best way to earn gold. Good work
Too fiddly, takes too much time to use.
Great for finding out what each ingredient does and what combinations to make to create them. You can set up a profile or not. The ads aren't intrusive and mostly are for the paid version. Not to discourage anyone from supporting the dev but the free version works totally fine. If you're annoyed by the restrictions definitely get the paid one. Grateful it includes the Dragonborn DLC. If possible, please add the ability to save on SD.
Absolutely fantastic alchemy app. There's obviously search by ingredient and search by effect but then there's also the ability to update the ingredient list if you want with how much of each ingredient you possess which tells you in the 4th menu option, combinations, what potions you can possibly make, which is brilliant. Top app, genius developer. To the idiot below who gave 2 stars because he thought updating quantities was a functioning necessity: you are a dumbass.
When asking it to filter/sort + or - only it doesn't it often fails to implement any filter at all. It has a high learning curve, with limited explanation of symbols or how to complete tasks. Some basic help would be nice. The video on the website isn't much help. Shortcuts to other functions would be nice, so you don't have to go through the main menu.
Great app, work awesome. Only reason not 5 stars is when you're entering ingredient quantities, if you click the amount box, enter your quantity and swipe, without hitting next, to the next ingredient, it dosen't save the amount you entered. Fix that or make it so volume buttons act as the +/- buttons on the ingredient screen and you have a 5 star app.
I like that I can put in my character's information and ingredients (even if adding them all took forever because I had so many). The layout's nice, too. There seems to be a bug in the filters though. It always shows ingredients from the expansions even if the option to show them is unselected. Same with the search, when I tried to show positive effects only, it still showed all of them.
I'm late to the party playing Skyrim again years later, and years later this app is beautiful. Took just a little exploring, and I don't find it at all confusing. I didn't believe it would work at first but it has can't wait to make some Potions :) thanks to the Dev
Ideal for getting the alchemy skill up there! Like the game, you need to explore the app, to really reap the benefits. I use it all the time! It's really helpful. My only issue is when entering quantities, if the icon isn't used to alter at least the last number, and return to the previous menu, it doesn't save the quantity. I also don't get the same level of potion effects as described. That may be an issue with playing on PS3 or the way I've set up the profile.
I don't know why everyone says this is confusing, it is fine to me. I've had this app on previous phones and I love it! There is one thing I would like to suggest though: the addition of an inventory dial on the ingredients names themselves, that way when I'm making potions, I can just click the checkmark, then inventory down button, then make other potions. It would make this app 3x better for me. Very convenient.
I legit just downloaded this but I already love it!~ I was really needing an app with ingredient ID codes for the mods I have (so I can easily test if my mods with potions work without having to buy or search for ingredients) and this has just that :D I also really love all of the detailed information about each ingredient; this obviously took some dedication and a LOT of time and researching to get. ♡ I admire that :3
I downloaded a bunch of the highest rated Skyrim Alchemy Apps from the Google Play Store, and although this was the lowest rated that I downloaded, it was the most helpful and easiest to use. I would rate this five stars if it was easier/more accurate to actually search for potions that you're making. It tends to not even find the potions, even when i search specifically by ingrediant or affect. It's annoying because I then have to manually change stuff. But I definitely reccomend this app!!!!
I love this app! I just started a mage/alchemist character (and I don't know much about alchemy) and I just made so many potions worth so much gold in such a short amount of time, this app is great for any aspiring alchemist in skyrim! 100 stars out of 5! :D
I was looking for a better solution than the Web apps out there, this isn't it. You can't revise ingredient lists as you craft, adding items is tedious, and cost/value sorting gives inaccurate results.
Really comes in handy when quickly looking up recipes to create in game, although its too much of a bother to mark down if you have say 5 giant toes, and then add the potion to "created in game".
I look through all the other Skyrim alchemy apps and they lack some features found here, this is more interactive than the others, and you can view all potions recipes. I usually read apps comments with complaints of too many adds, with this app I pretty much just get the one ad right after I open, sometimes more after like a half hour in app.
This app is amazing. It has a full list of Ingredients and their effects, which is exactly what I expected from an app like this. This has been so helpful in my conquest of gathering g and alchemy, and the best part, I keep coming back, time and again
Not really what I needed. I was just looking for an Alchemy trainer. I just want to add the ingredients I have, and be given the best potions available. This App makes that process far too complicated. It's also hugely unintuitive, with no hints or tips at all. I still have no idea of the difference between 'Any selected', 'All selected' and 'All in selected'! LOL Also, either I'm completely missing something, or the filters don't work. I have all the DLCs unticked, yet their ingredients still appear in the list! And the one minute wait between searches in this free version makes it unusable for my purposes; I need something quick. Yes, I could pay for the Pro version, but I suspect that the constant toing and froing to edit my list of available ingredients, as they get consumed, will be far too cumbersome.
This app is the perfect tool for those who wish to be successful in skyrim. Not only does it allow you to find out recipes for potions but it also helps you organise what items you need to get for the potions you want.
