I've only used this a few times and so far it seems to work well for the most part. Turns off after a hour on its own. In the free version pother than the ads, it connects quickly and I have not heard any interruptions. May try the paid version if I use it more often. Sometimes it makes connections to websites slow, it worth a try overall.
Worked great for a few weeks, then it would keep disconnecting. I noticed that the longer I had it, it gave me more and more notifications about the premium edition. Then today it just stopped connecting, it only gave me the option to upgrade to premium or reconnect. When I tried to reconnect it simply wouldn't connect. I tried connecting many times and nothing happened except the pop up option for premium. Safe to say I won't be using this VPN again
The app works fine when it wants to. Every few hours/days, it decides to not connect anymore and breaks. Constant redownloading, and the support button doesn't actually send a ticket. It only brings you to a social media of your choice where they expect you to advertise for them. You write a review, then they say to write them a ticket although you can't actually do that.
If you want to waste your time on trying to reconnect the VPN every second ,I suggest this app for the job. It does not work on my device even though I have 2gb of traffic data ,I wasted my time watching ads just for it not to work I'm really disappointed with this app. I give it two stars because it ever only worked once without wifi .
It is not perfect due to the ads but really eefective and free. This is a great app that allows you to watch movies and visit websites of other countries. Amazing! Sites that are blocked aren't blocked when this fast vpn is on. Hope skyvpn can constantly work on filtering out the ads for a better experience.
Never takes less than 2 minutes to get a stable connection. Stable connection meaning that it works 2 minutes and then for sure it disconnects. I paid 1 year subscription but I barely use it since it takes so long to get a connection and then it disconnects anyway, so I d rather not use it.
Easy to use, works okay, gets the job done. Can get past basic content restrictions. Lot of ads, but only in the app, not while actually using the internet. It's decent, for a free VPN.
every once in a while it stops working, so you gotta delete and redownload it. overall it works pretty good to get m interent working at school. Better then the other ones ive downloaded. Sometimes it does have trouble staying connected though.
UPDATE: Iv tried to do as you suggested but it is broken and will not send feedback. App states that you get 50mb data per ad that you watch; this is stated before you click each ad. This is not true for all ads even after all the offers I still don't have as much data as I should have by just watching videos alone at 50mb per video.
Sometimes the connection doesn't work, most of the time it does though. It's pretty fast and effective. I am able to browse on whatever with the free vpn and haven't gotten hacked by anything. I love this FREE vpn even though the ads are a little annoying. Fast and unlimited, its the best vpn u can use.
The only one that actually works for me (Chromebook), and it works pretty good. Sometimes the ads break the app until they are closed. The more professional looking ones werent connecting, but this one seems to though.
Barely ever works, rewards not enough. VPN constantly disconnects and crashes. Way too many ads I mean c'mon I click on the app and get a 30 second ad, I turn on the VPN and get a 30 second ad I even so much as turn the VPN off and get an ad. Not happy at all.
Works the way it should, when it works. Good app, but how can I be able to redownload it and watch all the ads and yet it can't connect half the time. Takes an hour to work but whatever it's all I have so I'm not complaining.
Hi! skyvpn is a really great app and ever since my friend suggested the app to me, I love it then. that's now until the 25 of December when it started not work again. It kept connecting and disconnecting itself just within seconds. please fix these bugs
Awesome free vpn! But I'm sick of having to watch ads to get NORMAP SPEED INTERNET! I get faster wifi without the VPN. But it's still good for playing online games at school. But please let there be another way to have faster wifi.
As from yesterday 25 Dec 2021 this app is no longer perfectly working like it used to be. It continuously connects and disconnects and after some few seconds it then automatically stops connecting. What a disappoint😞. From Namibia
Kept disconnecting, bs app, the only reason I have it installed is because it's the only vpn I found that bypasses my schools firewall to be able to play mobile games, one thing pointed out, whenever I start playing a game it disconnects right after, after I leave it reconnects
Great app, I like that it's free, which is something she's to find with VPN apps. I understand that they have to run ads but I respect that they let you choose when you want to watch the ads.
I was a really good app before but now it barely connects sometimes i have to Uninstall it then reinstall it just to connect and even when I watch the ads it doesn't give me vpn at times when I connect and do other stuff it instantly stops. If it was how it was when I first downloaded it then I'd give this app a solid like 4.5 because of so many ads
When it works it is great for getting past school wifi but alot of the time it is not conecting like it conects for a second and disconects which just gets annoying but if that is fixed i would give this a 5 star
This thing is a waste of time. It will work for about a day or two completely fine, but then all of a sudden it starts giving error messages EVERY TIME you try to connect. Premium never functions like it's supposed to, and always slows down when using certain larger apps. Many people, myself included, have also noticed how if you turn your phone off (not shutdown) at any point, in a minute or so it will shut itself off, meaning you're having to reconnect MANY times a day, wasting traffic
The app is ok, but you have to reconnect every 30 minutes and it's not unlimited. Plus there are dozens and dozens of ads, so a lot of the time it's nearly impossible to connect without being reconnected to other apps and ads in the Play store. Do yourself a favor and get Turbo VPN, it's far better.
this app worked until about a month ago, in my school. it's the only one that has actually worked, and IF the Canada server shows up it works reliably. however, for some reason the Canadian server doesn't show up or disappears from time to time, and any other server simply refuses to work, if this is a bug or something It would be greatly appreciated if you fix it, also it seems to only be my android phone that is affected. everyone else's is not affected by this.
This was a great app for the first week I had it. Easy to use and definitely worked, but now its just not working the VPN wont connect at all to the multiple different servers. I tried them all. It was nice but its just not working, I can no longer send things blocked from school or work wifi Ex, Snapchat or Instagram. I hope it gets fixed.
I think it's the most stable free free vpn, but the annoying thing is the duration between the time you start the app untill you completely connect. (about 40s, and its not good). I have no problem with seeing some ads, but I think it's better that the app start right on the connect button.
Overall, it just works. It's good enough for me. The only problem that ever happens is when it says the servers are overloaded. Other than that, the free version actually works way better than other vpns. At least, this is the case for my phone and whatnot. It's worth giving a try. Easy usage, ads are fine unless you choose to watch a bunch for free limited premium. This app has saved me a lot of trouble. Thanks 👍
