Slader - Textbook Solutions!

It's a great app, but the downsides of the apps are all deal-breakers: - First of all, internet connection is very unstable and for some reason you cannot continue to use the app once there is a loss of connection unlike other online apps which allow you to keep using the loaded page (or cached pages) until connection has been re-establishes - Second of all the ads are really annoying, there are already in app ads but from time to time the app will prompt the user to watch an ad in order to continue using the app, and there is a good chance the ads wouldn't even load so the user has to restart the app. I don't even understand why the app has such because like said: the app already has in app ads. The app is great, but it still needs a ton of work

I really like this app and it has been thoroughly needed, but I hate the ads. I understand you need them, but when I have to wait like 2-3 mins just to watch the ad for another min just to see how to do the problem it's super frustrating. Also just scrolling up or down to read the steps will sometimes skip to the next problem. I've also had times where it kicked me out of the chapter and section I'm looking at to go back to page one, chapter one section one. That's very annoying. Again great app, but the actually functionality of the app needs some polishing up.

Not a bad app, but certainly not a good one. there are forced ads, which I totally understand! we all need funding, but they DON'T LOAD. your options are upgrade or watch ads, and the watch ad button does not work. Additionally, if you do end up upgrading for $1.99 a month, it doesn't even register it. I paid for a month to try it out and it 100% did not work. aside from having to restart the app every 5 minutes, it works great! will update review if I see an improvement or dev response

I love this app! But it has a major problem with ads. First of all, they are way too frequent. Second of all, when it says I have to buy a subscription or watch an ad, I can't watch an ad because it take hours to load (and I promise it's NOT my connection) so I have to either buy the subscription or completely restart the app and find the math problem again!

It's a good app for doing homework, but the UI is a bit unintuitive honestly. In a lot of multipart questions, if your just trying to jump around, everytime you click back itll send you back to lesson select, then you have to go through the pages, get one answer and either scroll a while bunch or repeat the cycle. It doesn't seem bad if you do it one at a time, but if you use the app as I do and finish the homework first and then check the answers, it can get really tedious at times.

I'm very dissapointed by this app. First, the website(On PC) prompts me to watch ads yet won't let me click to watch so I can carry on viewing the content. Now the app allows me to watch the ad but gets stuck in the ad(Black screen) , instead redirects me to play store when I click back. The only way around it is to Force close the app and play store. Also, when my phone goes to sleep, or after minimizing the app, when I get back even after a few seconds I'm sent back to the Main screen. Very inconvenient.

The ads are a lot, but I could deal with them if they actually loaded. Instead of loading ads, the app puts you on a screen where you can either upgrade to premium, or you can press a "watch an ad" button that doesn't work. So basically, if you don't want to pay for pro, you have to close out of the app completely and go back into it, and reload whatever page you were on before. Very frustrating. Use the website, not the app

It is really helpful, but it doesn't work as well sometimes. It has a lot of ads, which I get it, they are trying to make money too, but sometimes it just wouldn't work. These few days it was working pretty badly, whenever I clicked answer, it would bring me to the top answer instead, I can swipe to get to the one that I want to but ads show up after you open two questions, so it was a struggle, but I uninstalled it and installed it again, and now its bringing me to the right question.

The issue has now been fixed but I raise my review to 3 stars for a big reason. I have noticed that for higher grade math, such as calculus, the steps seem to be less and less. This is becoming a bit frustrating as they skip multiple steps to get straight to the answer and sometimes I need to see where i made a mistake in one of those steps. The app is helpful but only for so long. Once you get into upper division math, unless you are really good at math it just becomes confusing.

For some reason Slader gives me the incorrect answers to the questions, and almost always mixes up the question and answer order so it's very confusing. The website provided more accurate answers with the question, but unfortunately so the app has ALL questions, but they aren't in the correct order, at least not for me. Not only that, but it gives me so much trouble just to search up a page, because everytime I try to do so it always glitches and goes to a different page instead. 🤦‍♀️ I love the idea of slader and having the opportunity to learn while also getting answers to specific questions, but the app is just not working right and it's very annoying. For now I will keep it, but I wish it'd be better 🤔

I like it! I found my math book very easy, at first I thought I couldn't use it because the back of my math book is ripped out, but, then I saw it had a search too. I'm curious can you post answers because when I look at the problems it shows someone's name above it. Overall though all the other reviews said "Oh, there's a glitch" or "I ABSOLUTELY HATE THE ADS!" but I experienced none of that.

It's a good app, but the ads are annoying. It makes you watch an ad after looking at 2 or 3 problems, and I got very annoyed when I'd click watch ad and the ad played and it made me watch another ad over and over again and wouldn't let me look at the next question. If you really want to use slader, just go to the website and don't download the app.

Though it's very put together, there's still small issues I've seen other people have trouble with and I have also experienced. So every time I open this app it loads well and I click on the workbook I scanned for my class and go to the page and find the answer number and click and I see the help and answer but EVERY 2 QUESTIONS I GET A 30 SECOND AD. I know you need to pay your bills but make it more discreet so your app is actually useful. but everything else is amazing, Thank you.

I know you gotta, 'Pay bills' but can you not show me an ad everytime I switch to the next question? Because if you want your app to not be below a three. I'd recommend you fix this issue. I like the app for obvious reasons, but its just the overwhelming amount of advertisment I get in such a short amount of time. Its just doesnt make this app worth its while. Good app. Good design. Bad ads and a tons of them too.

Its totaly fine to have ads, but when you try to watch an ad here theres no way to exit it. You either sit there waiting for it to end just take you to a black screen, or exit out of the app and go through the same process after only viewing 2 questions... Sometimes the app wont even open after you close out if it after getting stuck in an ad.

The app is overall good and mostly does its job but the constant ads don't help. (You can exit the app and re-open btw but you will have to open the text book again) and on the book I'm using, Big Ideas Math, Algebra 1, A common Core Curriculum, the problems on page 23 aren't even the same problems in the book. Completely different. Besides that no problem. Please fix that page though.

Great app and helpful, however there seems to be a bug when I choose to "Watch an ad". I click it and the screen buffers endlessly without playing an ad. This causes me to close the app and restart. I waste time and you don't get the revenue needed. I'm using a LG Q7+ phone.

I would rate this app higher but it's practically unusable. Constantly losing connect despite not actually loading every five seconds or so makes it difficult to use. I've tried different networks and devices and I can't use this app. It's a shame because other than that it would work, but it's so frustrating to use

the ads are inescapable and never load. ive gotten to the point where whenever it asks me to watch one i close it out and go back in. doesn't contain all the answers, and the worst part is that it won't tell you what the question is either making it impossible to tell if it's right or written correctly.

Cannot upload solutions or do much of anything with the app. It said my email was already in use despite not ever making an account, and there's too few features on the app that it defeats the purpose of having it at all. Just use the site. I only downloaded the app to upload solutions and the app won't even let me do that, plus, I had to download the app in order to create an account. The site refused to let me make an account without using facebook. Very frustrating experience on the app/site.

I would of gave it no stars but it wouldnt let me. I get to see it and then an ad pops up like every 20 seconds i watch the ad then it goes right back to pay or watch ad i have to close out of every thing and start back over how am i supost to learn how to do it in 20 seconds? This use to be very helpful sight but now its just really stupid. Shooting for the stars well not with having to learn how to do it from slater. If you want to be Shooting for the crapper try slater.

I cannot select answers I want to view. It instantly goes to the first problem of that section. If I try to swipe to the problem I need, I get forced out to watch an ad to continue. After viewing this ad for 30-90 seconds nothing happens. The app times out on the upgrade/watch ad page. This is incredibly frustrating amd renders this app useless. There is also no peer review many of the answers are incredibly wrong.

Great app, really, super helpful. But the ads, they do not go away, I get maybe two problems in, and it tells me to watch an ad, so I do, and it won't get off the ad screen, completely broken and unfinished

I love that this app exists, but there is a problem with the ads... they just dont work. I waited for a good ten minutes and still nothing. The only way to combat the problem was to restart the app. But that also means that the developers dont get the money for that ad. So plz fix that so we can have this app for years to come.
