SLAMMED!

Turn a scripted steel-cage wrestling match into a real fight in this 250,000-word interactive novel!
You've always dreamed of becoming pro wrestling's biggest star...but a wrestler's world is fraught with hardship and betrayal, in and out of the ring. Become a powerhouse, a technician, a high-flier, or focus on your promo skills. There's more than one road to success.

But none of those roads will be easy. This is a world where your biggest fans are your harshest critics; where the front office is more dangerous than the squared circle; where friends can become enemies with a single heel turn; where, sometimes, the only way to win is to lose, spectacularly.

This is professional wrestling. And you're about to change it, forever.

Slammed! is an epic interactive professional-wrestling novel by Paolo Chikiamco, where your choices determine how the story proceeds. The game is entirely text-based--without graphics or sound effects--but driven by the vast, unstoppable power of your imagination.

There's never been a professional wrestling game like this, a game where the outcome of your final match, your choice of opponent, and your relationships affect the ending. When's the last time you played a pro-wrestling RPG with a "kayfabe" stat?--or where your trash-talking "promo" ability is as important as your core strength and wrestling technique?

* Enjoy a 250,000-word personal tale of friendship, competition, and revenge.
* Develop not only your physical abilities, but a favored wrestling style.
* Become a heroic face, or a villainous heel--or even turn heel.
* Turn a scripted match into a real fight--and vice versa.
* Decide when to keep kayfabe, and when to break it.
* Play as male or female, gay or straight.

This is the best wrestling choose your own adventure I have come across yet and it could have easily been called Life of a Professional Wrestler. The story is great with excellent plot twists and good character development. Sometimes it was hard to know which stat related to what choice but the stats worked perfectly and if you go with power as your main stat it's much easier to figure out. This story really shines in it's replayability. Definitely one of the best stories on here.

I didnt want this game to end. I cant help but think or maybe just hope that it could have gone on longer had I picked a different option. The ideas are interesting but at times hard to follow (match types mainly) and the blurring of kayfabe and reality got way out of hand near the end but it wasnt enough to ruin my experience. This game will definitely get a second playthrough at the very least.

As the overall rating hints this is one of the better stories on the play store. it does a good job of explaining wrestling terms and ideas. But as good as it is unless you have at least a passing interest in the medium you can probably pass. However, if you do or have ever so much as watched a wrestling match this is a GREAT read, no matter what the cheesy cover art may make you think.

One of the best Ive played yet and Ive finished 11or 12. It is a good length, not too short, long enough. Perfect lenghth actually.I give 8.75 out of 10. Also no frustrating endings and you can lose before the final match. Because I hate games where you're guaranteed to last until the final scene. In some cases there's more than one main event for the game but not always. that's all I'll say about that. And the endings arent frustrating.. I sugggest Choicegames do a wrestling tournament game

The replayability in this is remarkable, with similar, but different types of roads and massively differentiating pathways. Even the most subtle differences can be seen amidst the playthroughs. I have played as a heel turned face, face turned heel, heel, and face variably. This game is fun and I readily recommend it to other wrestling fans and text based fans alike...

A bit like modern day wrestling really. Really fantastic story lines, but not enough wrestling!

I'm not even that big a fan of wrestling but I'll admit, this one of the best CYOA I've ever played, definitely worth the price.

I know that you made this game a really long time ago, but please, make a part two. This game is very well made.

As a wrestling fan, sure I'm biased. I wished I could of started a faction "bullet club like". Kinda wish you allowed me to give me the gray tweener push like a randy orton. But it was great, it made me want more out of the game. From start to finish, this CYOA gave us the moral dilemma of choosing kayfabe and a straight shoot. I appreciate whoever made this one, a true wrestling fan would appreciate the quality of work and research you put into this. Please give me an expansion pack lol.

I am not a big fan of wrestling. But something told me try this game, and I'm glad it did! The storyline immerses you in the wrestling culture, with amazing characters and fantastic writing in addition!

As a wrestling fan I really enjoy the storytelling. The only thing that weirds me out is the Harley Quinn reference I'm a fan Comics too but I'm wondering why that's there.

As a life long wrestling fan, I've been waiting for a game like this. The characters are larger then life, the setting is amazing and I especially love how you guys did historical wrestling events, IE the higher power and Monday night wars. Just wish there was a sequel to see you win the world title and see your relationship with Evelyn and JJ deepen.

Could say a lot about this one. It's much longer and more interesting than I expected, and as someone who has never understood why anyone would like pro wrestling, after playing this game I "get it". However, a little frustrated with choices that don't seem to matter and other choices that I can't make even after multiple different playthroughs.

I was skeptical of SLAMMED!, wrestling has never been my cup of tea. Yet this glitzy, richly written CoG breaks down the terms, the lingo, and wraps them up in a surprisingly engrossing plot. The character choices are numerous and highly satisfying, keep with the stats well and feel nicely impactful. The only downside is a twist in the plot which the game pigeonholes, but is forgivable as it turns the cogs for an excellent finale. A must buy for anyone after a punchy, glamourous few hours in the ring.

Let me start of by saying I'm not a wrestling fan nor have I ever been one so the story at first was a little "meh" for me but as I continued to read I just got more and more into it I even got emotional to an extent! I'm not gonna spoil the story for anybody but I encourage any one who has been looking for a Choice of Game to seriously consider giving Slammed a try

Great "game", really enjoyed it, it's a shame that people who like both wrestling and choose your own story novels are probably such a small demographic. Excellent writing, great characters and dialogue, wish I had someone I could reccomend it to

Absolutely excellent. This story really focused on interpersonal relationships and it pays off. Like. It pays off a lot. MetaHuman was the first choice of game I played on mobile. This surpasses it. It is also worth noting that I am not into wrestling. The setting is just that. It is a setting. It's what allows the interpersonal crises to at themselves out. I found myself getting super into it. I guess this story has that kayfabe it loves so much in spades.

Definitely worth the time and effort to read, you don't have to be a big wrestling fan to enjoy this beautifully written story.
