SLCL Mobile

Useless to me. I would like to browse the catalog. Not just search for very specific items. Even the website on mobile is now confusing and difficult to navigate. The old catalog browsing function was perfectly fine and patrons could find what they were looking for and other content in related genres/categories. Out with the new, in w the old I say. I will just have to visit in person and browse. And hope I can access the old catalog functions from the kiosk computers there...

The old app was great and I used it almost every day. The redesigned app, unfortunately, is useless. It crashes every time I open it. Sometimes it will let me get as far as clicking on the catalog search but then never loads. I've tried force stopping, uninstall/reinstall. Why did they mess with a perfectly functional app? I have to now use an internet browser on my phone. Big step backwards for an otherwise wonderful library.

Older app was far better. The latest update is slow to load, if it ever does. When viewing holds, you can't tell at a glance when the due date is, you have to tap on each item individually. Have to sign in regularly instead of keeping me signed in. Have to retry searches multiple time or it just spins.

I like the options they added with the update in May, but the execution is terrible. The app only loads occasionally for me now, and many times my searches lead to a spinning wheel of doom. If the app loaded consistently, it would be great! Until then, I'm going to wish for the old one.

I loved this app previously and would have given it 5 stars. The recent changes are terrible. The overall look & layout made me think the app had been abandoned and the library had a completely different one. Please return to the old format!

Won't load anymore. I was having issues with it either right before or right after the update; it kept asking me to log in, but it wouldn't authenticate. Today it won't even load. Kind of embarrassing for such a large library system to have these issues. Kind of frustrating as a tax payer whose money is funding said library system.

The update is terrible. The app crashes regularly. I used the library a lot during covid shutdown, cannot get into it at all now. Very disappointed in the library for ruining a good source of books.

I can no longer get the slcl encore catalog to open on my phone so i was excited to try the app version. Unfortunately, it doesnt even open. I love SLCL and worked there for several years, but you guys need to catch up with technology... it's 2021! :-(

I installed this app two days ago. It seemed fine the first day, but I haven't been able to open the app since then. I am uninstalling this app and will use a web browser to access the St. Louis County Library instead.

Normally i love this app, but with the new update, my homepage doesn't come up, everything else seems to work fine. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but that didn't help

I used to LOVE this app, and the ease of using it! But a recent change has ruined it! Please fix it back to the way it was a week ago....the way it's been working fine for years!!

I personally feel there should be option to select multiple books in one go. If I have to request for 10 books I need to do it 10 times. That's time consuming.

I mostly only use the app to search the catalog and to check my account, but the BookLook feature has been helpful when seeing if SLCL has a copy to borrow of a book I'm looking at in a BN :-)

So easy to use. I love that I can look up anything and place it on hold no matter what library it is located at.

An overhauled library app is certainly needed. Unfortunately this one is broken and rarely loads for me on Android 8.0.

The old app never crashed, but this one crashes almost every time I use it.

Difficult to navigate. Unable to link to my Kindle. This is NOT an update.

I love the library. Been a fan since I used to walk to the Bookmobile as a kid! The library contains a world of entertainment! 🙃

Works like half of the time. Every time I think they worked out the kinks, it starts acting up again.

This new app never works. Took 20 tries to sign. Today catalogue search doesn't even work

Runs poorly. Takes forever to load and doesn't update holds.

Keeps crashing. Update that was issued did NOTHING to help

This app used to be great. Now it doesn't work. I would give it negative stars if I could. How did this get through testing?

They got the bugs out of it works real good now

App won't retain login information.
