Sleep Aid Fan - White Noise Fan Background Sounds

Helps me sleep! The sounds are subtle and help me unwind. Since using this app my sleeping patterns have improved! Bonus is it doesn't kill your battery ... I can leave it running all night, display doesn't have to be on ... Simple & effective. Thanks guys!

The fan sounds shut off as soon as an add pops up. Defeats the purpose of having a sleep aid if it just shuts off within a few minutes! If the fan noises stayed on, it would be a 5 star app.

This is the most amazing white noise app I've had. I always sleep with a fan for noise but sometimes it's too cool for that or I visit someone and don't have access to one. This is so much like the real thing I don't have any trouble sleeping with it on.

I paid for pro, keep hitting restore and all I get are the ads removed. No additional fans anymore. Sent an email 2 weeks ago and no response. Over it now.. Was great until last upgrade.... Don't waste your time!!

Very glitchy. When it works its great, there's 3 fan settings and they sound just like a real fan, but the app does stop working 4 nights out of 5

Best sleep app I've had! This never shuts down like other apps I've used. So glad I found it. I did purchase the ad free for like $1.99.

This app was fine after I purchased the no ads option... until suddenly the ads started back up and the restore button doesn't work.

Extremely easy to work! Tremendous help while out reveling and away from our home machine/routine. Particularly nice from hotel noise (and family noises).

Since the latest update, the fan speed slider stops working often until I force quit and restart the app.

I use this often.... I have to have noise...a fan noise... And this is the best app for me. Sometimes it turns off by itself (i.e.4stars)and i wake up. But other than that it is good.

good app for what it does. randomly turns down the system volume causing me to wake up sometimes. a bug that should be fixed.

I use this as white noise on every trip I take and it is the best. You can turn your screen off (Samsung user) and it will continue to play and barely touch your battery! I recently was in the hospital and it was perfect for that dumb time as well. The only way I can sleep when I'm not at home w my real fan. Plus, many tones/levels to choose from.

Years worth of usage and love, but now deleting and giving it 1 star. It has an optional timer, but even with it off, it auto shuts off after around 15 minutes or so every night. I'll find a new white noise maker instead. I've never noticed a push to pay or considered that a reason until reading other reviews. I figured it was just an update bug. My husband's iphone doesn't shut off, only my Galaxy S10+ does. Either way, it won't stay on and is getting deleted. No good if it won't stay on.

I have had this app for years. It was 5 stars to me, but recently (however long they started asking for optional payment), it is now 1 star. App use to run until I turned off, even without setting a "timer". Now, even if the timer is set for several hours, or not at all, app auto stops after a certain point. Maybe with their new fee, won't have issues. However, I am not risking giving my card info with no knowledge of how much, how long, or how hard to cancel.

Turns off at random times which is kind of frustrating for an app to help with sleep.

Sane with Michelle's review. Had this app for years. Purchased the upgrade. But recently it will not stay on. No timer set. Doesn't help me sleep if I have to keep turning it on. Need to move on to a different app. It sucks because I really loved this one. I even sent them an e mail about the issue. Still not fixed

Paid for pro a while ago and now have ads, can't hit restore, it doesn't work. Please fix this asap...

I love this App. I absolutely can not sleep without the sound of a fan. I have been using a real fan for almost 20 yrs, but during the winter, it causes dry mouth. I have tried other Apps, but they always had scratchy sounds, which I can't stand. My only issue with this App is that it will turn off during the night when charging when I set a timer.

Update: The app still sucks and turns off in the middle of the night. Pleas fix! App randomly turns off in the middle of the night causing me to wake up to turn it back on and then try to fall back asleep. Sometimes it immediately turns back off again. So frustrating! Update: Besides shutting off in the middle of the night, which it still does regularly, the app now appears on my lock screen and it will not go away. I have reduced my review to one star until both of these issues are resolved.

EXACTLY what I needed. I have tried dozens of white noise apps that are comically overpriced (sorry dude, I'm not paying $3.99 per month *forever* -- the cost of buying several actual fans per year -- for something this f@#$ simple), or have obnoxious malwaresque ads, or add useless features to the pro version while rendering the free version useless. But this fan app is pure genius, simple and perfect. I gladly upgraded to pro for a one time $1.99 fee. THANK YOU dev(s)!!!

Used to be great but like others said it randomly shuts off. Please resolve this issue.

Love all the choices of fans and what speed you want! I've tried so many fan apps and this one is hands down the absolute best!

The fan loop restarts after a couple of hours, and if you are using it for white noise to sleep, it'll wake you up. This could easily be fixed by using a fade function, have the start of the loop fade in while the end is still playing and then fade the end of the loop out before you can audibly hear it "restart". Other than that it works very well and has good features, just wish the loading screen wasn't bright white, the rest of the app is dark themed, so the loading screen should be too, it's very bright in the middle of the night when I decide to turn this on just like a flashbang to my eyes.

Bad loops actually make it harder for me to fall asleep, but a perfect loop makes the job effortless. I love this app for that, all three different fan sounds are great, and the interface is simple to understand. However I did have to slash one star because after paying to remove the ads, it suddenly got very glitchy as a result. Crashing a lot more than usual, which usually never happened before. It's only 99 cents so I don't care really, but paying for a worse experience sucks.

Very simple to use, and the white noise helps me get to sleep easily. I would make three changes, if this were my app. First, I would make a slider bar rather than stops for the volume. Sometimes the difference between the bottom two choices is too great. Second, I would add a pause button. If I need to stop it, I have to reset my timer all over again. Third, I would let the timer be set by entering the numbers from my keypad instead of scrolling to save time. Then I would give it 5 stars.

Overall, this is a great app. I paid a couple extra bucks for the premium upgrade because I use it almost every night. I don't have problems with it shutting off in the middle of the night like other people have mentioned, but it does randomly turn itself on even after turning the fan off and killing the app. This usually happens right after I hang up a phone call. It will just reopen the app in the background and start playing the fan noise. Kind of annoying, so I knocked off one star.

We really like this app and use it pretty much every night, except when we have our window unit ac running. The fan sounds are great, and the volume is easily adjusted. The reason I can't give it 5 stars is because if how often it glitches. Sometimes multiple times a night, sometimes not for several days. The glitch I get is it randomly turning off, even if I set the timer. It's very annoying to be woken up randomly in the middle of the night when it turns off. 5 stars if not for the glitch.

i bought the upgraded version. love the large choice of fan noise. for some reason the app will randomly turn off during the night (with no timer set) which gets very annoying. it's not every night, but when it happens i wake up and have to turn it back on. good for a quick fix but i bought the upgraded version for no ads and yet it still turns off.

Switches to default fan after a few hours. I use the left fan because of hearing sensitivity but in the middle of the night it will switch back to the middle one. Favorite sound out of all the fan apps on here, but it will wake me up sometimes when it switches. I emailed them regarding the issue but have heard nothing back. Would change to 5 stars if the issue were fixed.
