Sleep Stories Pro

Absolutely brilliant app!! I never knew how soothing and relaxing a bed time story could be but now I can't live without it, and certainly can't sleep without it!!! It doesn't take up much space at all and the ads are minimal, but the value is maximum! A great variety of stories which is constantly being added to, some even told by celebrities - there is a story for every person on every night!

As far as I can tell it's exactly the same as the non-'pro' version. Content is pretty good and mostly works ok but I expected more features for a pro version. Seems to be the exact same 100 or so stories, all lumped together to scroll through, and all you can see before clicking play is the title. There's no way to pick, for example, only non-/fiction, or only ones you've not heard before, or even only to see what language they are in before clicking play. Good content in a poorly made app.

Very unhappy with this. I have the Sleep Stories (not Pro, but from same developer and was ad free) on my old phone and it works perfectly. I got a new phone today and it's gone from google play, but we have this one (the Pro). I couldn't get a sound, half the time you press play, it's like the button isn't activated, but it is activated because an advert comes on. I used the old app every night and loved it, but now sadly, this one won't be on my new phone. I am so disappointed.

I can't get 6 minutes in without it stopping. Once it stops, you can't restart in the same place. It's not rotate sensitive; if you turn your phone sideways, it stops. More than half the stories won't even start. I have a crazy hard time to get to sleep. Minimum 2 hours to get there. I was really looking forward to this app & I was really let down. Uninstalling until bugs fixed.

The app can require patience, as the story may not start the first time you press play. Also the ad that pops up before the story starts can be problematic if you need to press the back button to go back to the story, as it can on occasion back out of the story entirely. Love the way it helps me get to sleep though, engaging, and soothing in equal measure.

I think this is a great app. Hove how it is. However, i think there are a few bugs as it seems to crash about 20mins into a story, so the story just abruptly ends. And. some stories don't play at all, which is quite frustrating. Also, does this work without an internet connection? Because it would be cool if you could download a story, or so to say, and play it offline.

When it works, I find it helps me sleep quite well. Unfortunately, the app crams an ad down your throat anytime you do anything at all. Some stories aren't in English, and there's no warning. So that means another ad to try another story. Often the stories won't play (ads do just fine), and have to be opened several times (more ads) before they'll play. As sleep aid, this app is very poor, but it does very well at generating ad revenue

This app was great, then it stopped working. the stories were great and i could fall asleep easily. the only thing i didnt like was if my phone rotated the screen, the story would stop. But now, the stories dont play at all. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and nothing. Very disappointing.

I began using this app instead of the one I was using (which was just different rain and thunderstorms). I am really enjoying this one! I have had a glitch here and there, don't mind the ads as they only play in the beginning.. I know they're coming so I turn my phone down until I have the story ready... the stories are great, so many of them to choose from, will more be added? I haven't made it through one entire story yet! Lol sleeping very well, thanks for keeping it free to use!

i would give this app a higher rating because i do like it. i use it every night just about. i have my favorites, but there's too many times that i havent fallen asleep and i go to another story or music and the app won't play. i tey resetting my phone, resetting the app but nothing works. very frustrating when my anxiety level is already up and i can't fall asleep, now im teying to mess with a sleep app on top? fix the play button please and maybe give an option to tap/rewind/start over as well

I'm changing my review, as it seems all you care about is ad revenue and not customer support. Cant use app anymore as it stops 5-10 minutes in and I have to open phone,wait for ad to load then hit play several times to continue, occasionally it just starts story again . Was an awsome app, but your greed has ruined it. I would have paid for a working, ad free version. Now, I'm uninstalling.

My son and really like this app. If you could fix two annoying issues, I will gladly rate it a 5 star. The 1st issue: the search bar doesn't work. The 2nd and most annoying issue: you can't unfavorite something. I have duplicates in my favorites and 2 that we don't listen to in our favorites and there is no way to get rid of them.

While I love the concept and there are a few very talented story tellers, EVERY time I've used this app, it stops after about 10 minutes. Just as I start to relax, boom, it just stops. And no, it's not the end--it stops in the middle of the story. My search goes on for a nice sleep app.

I have never slept so well! There are hundreds of options on here including sounds, melodies, stories, and guided mediations. Sleep Stories has become my go to for a restful night's sleep. I have enlightened some of my friends and family members and they, too, now turn to Sleep Stories every night for the quickest way to ease into quality sleep.

I think this app is amazing! Yes there are ads, but I would accept them any day, with the extreme help this app helps me to fall asleep. Every single time I have put it on to help me fall asleep it has worked. Ads yes, but just to be able to fall asleep I would give this app 10 stars. Thank you for helping me!

There are stories narrated by several different people some you might recognize others you won't. I haven't listened to all the stories but I know I haven't made it through one of them yet without falling asleep that I've tried. lots of different subjects and voices to choose from along with sounds such as thunder rain so forth to help you fall asleep. I'm so glad I found this app I use it all the time. I just wish I knew how some of these stories ended!

"Fixed app stop error..."...uh, nope. Try again. 1/2022: Still not fixed, looks abandoned. Error persists over 3 separate phones. Note: The outfit that makes this app also has $200/day "Meditation Retreats", so I guess that's where their attention is going, not on the app. Nice idea, tho. Anyone want to step in and do it right?😵

I would give 5 stars cause I love the app but I wish you'd make it where you can put the stories you want in a playlist & let it play on repeat all night. I wake alot to go to bathroom & I have to start a new story. And App closes alot & restarts when I first started the app. Will rate again if these things are added.

New Update issues. I love this app, but ever since new stories have been added, I cannot get the stories to play unless I uninstall and re install the app. I use this app every night so I am super devastated! My rating would be a 5 out of 5 if this issue wasn't occurring, as I said, I love this app. Love the stories and love the soft tones that the stories are read in.

There's no way to get rid of the ads. When you select a story and you're nice and comfy in bed, an ad starts and really ruins the mood. If you want to choose another story, another ad starts playing. This is most distracting and obviously not thought about by the developer.

VERY UPSET!!! I LOVED this app. It was my favorite one. Now that it has the new update. Almost all the stories are in a foreign language. The app keeps crashing and it wont play alot of the meditations. Know I'm just frustrated with the app and have to look for a new app.

Blofeld telling me about cricket, fantastic. suggestions: a favourites button a rewind wound be good, a sort button so i can sort them by length to nake choosing easier. listing who narrates its a great app, i would be willing ti pay for a version without adds and with these upgraded features. edit: now youve given me bob ross? awesome!

I paid for the app because I liked it so much so wanted it ad free. Worked fine for a while and now it doesn't work right. It keeps freezing. Then if it finally plays the story, it stops over and over. Very disappointed.

The worst sleeping program ever! listened one of the stories and felt asleep. Then, at 2am suddenly phone started plaing weird loud music and woke me up, my heart beaten fast! Instead of better sleep I have hed worse! Then I wanted to go asleep again and put on enother story, but it was stopped abruptly after several minutes. The same was happened with two more stories. And after they have stopped, after a wile, again this weird sound appeared! no sleep at all the half of the night!

A few days ago I would have given this app 5 out of 5. However it has suddenly stopped working. I can't play ANY of the stories. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling and nothing works. Such a shame as it was truly helping my sleepless nights.

Im in love with this app ! I love the voices of the narrators, so soothing and calm. I look forward to bed and beautiful restful sleep every night now. I love how many different stories there are and the variation is great. Well done. I think this app should be voted best Sleep Stories App of the year. Forget everything i just wrote because the app wont play anything at all apart from ads.

These stories always put me to sleep! I hated how sometimes it would just pause before I went to sleep and I couldn't get to start back up in place. I had to start it all over again! But I love how you couldn't fast forward it or reverse it now! So many great stories!

the absolute last thing you want a sleep stories app to do is bombard you with obnoxious ads when you want to go to sleep only to then fail to load the story. even restarting the app doesn't work and nothing happens except more ads that show up.

This is what I was looking for, the app where they finish the story. I find them very calming, most of the voices are pleasant and it's nice to combine a little relaxation as they do at the beginning. Thankyou for this calming app full of wonder.

that other reviewer is right - fix the play button. Add a forward and back button. It keeps stopping and going back to the beginning. Had a better app on iPhone I can't get in Google play, apparently.🙄
