Sleep Timer (Music&Screen Off)

Awesome for streaming apps you cannot turn off auto-play-next like hbo. Figuring out where you were when they kept playing a random amount of episodes while you slept is a pain and this app solves the problem! It'd be cool to have a toast notification that sleep was about to happen so we'd know when to extend it if we're still awake; it's hard to tell the audio is dropping till it's too late at times.

I suffer from tinnitus and often times can't go to sleep without a fan whirring besides me. But, due to the cold, I haven't been able to use my fan and have been relying on white noise videos instead which are hours long and drain my battery. But this app is perfect solution. You set it to the desired time and it'll fade out the audio and turn off the screen (you do have to enable this setting!) It saves my phones battery and has been helping me get through the silent nights.

My current device has no integrated screen timer. I can set the display to turn off after a certain amount of time sure, but I quickly realized that when I happened to fall asleep on a gif or automatically looping video while browsing, my screen would not go off on it's own. Sleep Timer solved that problem for me. No more low batteries in the morning! Great app, easy to use, I highly recommend it.

Ater it was first downloaded it was great for about 6 months. I use it to turn off my phone when I fall asleep listening to music on trips. The last three trips its failed to shut off after the desired time. instead of 80 minutes it will stop at 68 min and I have to restart. 60 min and I awake to find the alarm clock shows 20 min remaining but I've been asleep 6 hours and music is still playing. etc, etc...opting out for another different app.

i use it every night to go to sleep to music from a radio app -jazz24- on Google Pixel XL with Android 9. At the set interval it mutes "media" volume only and locks the phone. i also use the "do not disturb" android setting to avoid notification tones and phone call ringtones. This app does not close the radio app, just mutes it. Because the radio app is still running, the battery runs down, so i keep my device connected to charger all night. This sleep timer app has been 100 percent reliable.

After using this app for months, I have to say it's better than expected! It's simple yet effective and I have a real knick for how UI's are designed and it's designed perfectly! App shuts down my music on YouTube and Spotify when I set the timer to be done. I would definitely recommend this to anyone

Perfect and exactly what I was looking for! I just wanted a simple app that would allow me to stop YouTube or my music since I like to fall asleep to noise. This does just that! It's simple, clean, and most importantly, it works. I've had no issues with it, and I didn't need to change any permissions to allow it to work like some similar apps.

this app used to do as described, but a recent update seems to have borked things. i have been setting up a youtube playlist to fall asleep to for the last three nights or so and have woken up each time to the app still playing, but muted, in the background. if my phone hadn't been plugged in it probably would have died. unimpressed.

This app works perfectly. It's simple and effective. All I know is every time in the morning, my music is paused and my Bluetooth headphones are off, just like I've set up, highly recommend if you need features like that!

I truly love this app I use it every night great for Meniere's, tinnitus, other ear or sleeping problems. I can have TV playing in the background for my ears but also then it will shut off my phone once I fall asleep to not kill my battery or over heat my phone

App doesn't work as it should and won't uninstall correctly. If that happens it's because it's marked as and admin app. "To disable an application's administrator access, go to your Settings menu, find "Security" and open "Device Administrators". See if the app in question is marked with a tick. Hope this helps people who are unhappy with the app.

Worked well for a while now it's not 🤷🏾 When it did work it turned down the volume before it closed my apps. Very helpful when I wanna watch an episode or two before falling asleep or trying to limit scrolling time

Works exactly as advertised, I set a sleep timer for 50 minutes and fell asleep listening to music. After that timer ran out, my Bluetooth and music turned off and I was woken up this morning by my normal alarm. Would heavily recommend!

To be honest. it's a pretty half baked product. in my time using it it has never omce actually counted down the minites with any accuracy and it's a coin toss at whether it will even do what you ask of it when the timer is finished. it's not a bad product, there are just WAY better ones out there. wouldn't recommend at all

Actually works for Samsung Galaxy S21. I use it to silence You Tube or sometimes I change the setting and get it to turn off the whole phone. It is very easy to use. I tried another APP which did not work but this one did.

Perfect if you're worried about screen burn-in on an AMOLED phone. I use this every day to help me sleep. I'll have a YouTube play as I lay in bed, and the app will automatically turn off the phone screen when I'm asleep.. Really simple, but an awesome app.

Special permissions needed in Android 12 that you have to re-enable every time that you choose to have the screen turned off as well. It's a great feature but annoying to do, was not necessary in Android 11.

The timer does its job. It turns the phone off. But it doesn't fully go away. It stays open in the background and I have to restart it then stop it, to be able to close it. It didn't do it in the beginning, but has for almost a year now. It's not really a big deal, but is annoying that I have to do extra steps every time I want to close it, which for me is every day.

Does exactly what it describes, no advertisements, no nagging, just the perfect sleep timer. Highly recommend you try this before going to an ad filled alternative!

That's exactly why I despite to update apps. More often than not they make everything worse or - like in this case - break completely. App worked fine for months, now after a recent update it stops after a few minutes. Unfortunately, in its current state the app is useless. But hey, at least we got a fancy new icon.

Recently, YouTube has been keeping my screen on after a video finishes, so this is pretty much exactly what I need. Screen shut off is not on by default, though, so go into options if you're doing the same thing I am.

I fell asleep watching a YouTube video and after the video ended my screen stayed on all night, I understood from a few places that this app would put my phone to sleep. Tested it out, and while it will stop media from playing, it didn't put my screen to sleep. Which is what I actually needed.

Works as needed. Locks my phone off between 1-60 min, and the way it does it is customizable as well. This allows me to watch videos as I fall asleep without youtube continuing all night. Note: I am not paying for youtube so I don't know if that affects it.

I use this every night because I play soothing youtube videos as bedtime story and have autoplay on. I set the timer for about 30 min and it stops the videos after I've fallen asleep. Honestly this is one of the best apps I've ever downloaded.

i used to love this for years. it would turn the screen off and mute my music, Netflix, YouTube, whatever. Now it doesnt work and apparently is a device admin or something like that. now I'm trying to deactivate this sketchy app now.
