This used to be perfect. Not sure what changed in the last few months, but as others have reported, it looks like it is counting down, but doesn't finish. Another symptom is that it will seem like it has stopped the app from playing, but I wake up in the morning and the player is still counting down and the app is playing.
Simple and to the point. App does what it says. You tell it how long you want the music playing, and it shuts down the music (nice and gradual rather than sudden) when the countdown is over. The UI is pretty nice and intuitive also!
So far so good. Does exactly what it supposed to do which is a rare commodity nowadays. If there is one option that the app does not have is an option to turn off the "Hotspot" when the times runs out. This will be an awesome tool to use in limiting screen time for kids.
Simple to use, nice user interface, works how it is suppose to and the music fades away in a nice way as opposed to the Spotify "Sleep timer". I don't like the advertisement thought but doesn't affect the usability too much as I probably spend max 15 seconds on the app per day.
I actually really like this app, but as of late it hasn't been doing the one thing that I downloaded it for. Like a lot of other people have said in their reviews, it seems the app will only mute your apps, it won't pause them. It used to work just fine, but sometime in the last few months it's been doing this mess. I hope this gets fixed soon, I like this app.
Nice app, needs some way to disable the 1 min alert, just as you fall asleep you get this really loud alert that wakes you up again! Also if left running in the background will randomly start youtube playing after a few hours, has happened multiple times now. Shake to add time doesn't seem to work either.
Simple yet works great. However, would give 5 stars if I could set the app to auto-open Pandora instead of YouTube music which I don't ever use. The app works as intended once the app is started and Pandora is opened manually. EDIT: Figured it out. GREAT APP
Been using this app for years. It's basic, but does the job. I use it with my audiobooks at night. Works with pretty much every app, including streaming on Chrome.
This app is super useful for me. It works as advertised. The ads are kinda annoying but they're barely noticeable. Since the app runs in the background you won't see much of them. If I could rate this 4.5 I would.
Brilliant app! Seemed to stop working a while ago, but it was possibly to do with the setting allowing you to shake phone to extend time. Anyway it's now working again and I love it! Really simple and well designed, nothing complicated, no need to login etc,
Easy to use, and it works with no bugs. I love that you can customize which apps are launched with the timer. It's really easy to customize your experience in the length of time you want the app to play. ETA: It's almost a year later and the app stopped functioning. It didn't turn off the YouTube video. Not sure why.
Exactly what I was looking for! It just works, every time. The shake to extend and the fade out are my favourite features.
It does work as it is meant. It does stop anything I had while falling sleep and when I wake up it's all paused and phone blocked as I wanted it. The timer does work good too.
Use it to play audiobooks online and offline to send me to sleep. Versatile, maybe needs better visuals to make it more instinctive to operate.
Works with Twitch if you enable the option to play in the background! I need sounds to fall asleep and love listening to a stream or something with the phone screen off and now I can set the timer to whatever I like and then it'll pause the stream. It doesn't completely close it which stinks but it's not a big deal at all. Definitely saves data if you're not using WiFi because the phone won't be running the stream for all hours of the night. It does the job!
Works well with Twitch: when the timer is out the audio slowly fades out and eventually the video pauses. Sometimes if Sleep Timer is still active in memory it doesn't initialize the timer correctly, but it's not a big deal. Unfortunately, it cannot stop the app from following raids when the stream ends, even if paused, so sometimes it doesn't work properly. I'm unsure if this is a thing Sleep Timer can fix, however, as raids on Twitch cannot be disabled.
Great app, working with Note10 without permissions. Four stars for a long duration of the pop-up notification. I would reduce it by two seconds.
Worked great on my last tablet (Galaxy Tab S2 SM-T710). Just upgraded to Galaxy Tab A8 (SM-X200), and having minor issues. It seems to be stopping media playback properly, but it's not turning off the screen.
Originally 5 stars as I could fall asleep without draining my battery... Wonderful app 👍 Not just for music, would open and close any app you like However can no longer open Netflix or Spotify through this app..... this makes me sad 😔. Please fix so I can give you 5 stars again.
Love it! I can fall asleep listening to music or a book and it stips right at the appointed time, instead of it running all night
Excellent app that fills in a hole in Google's YouTube music. Highly recommended for those who like falling asleep to the sound of music.
When it works it's great, but every other night it doesn't do anything, and whatever I have playing keeps going to wake me up in the middle of the night. Sometimes when I then pick my phone up to check it out only then does it seem to realise "woops I was supposed to do something" and put everything to sleep. Frustratingly inconsistent.
While I fully believe this functionality should be standard in phones, this app does a great job adding it. You set a timer and when it's done, your phone will stop playing music, videos, etc. Works well with YouTube and Spotify. If you realize you didn't add enough time, there is an extend button in the notification that adds 10 minutes per press. You'd think this is a useless feature, but it has come in quite handy. There are some ads, but they are small and up don't obstruct anything. 10/10
I use this app a lot when I'm trying to sleep and i dont want my phone's battery to completely drain. it gives you about an hour, and when the timer is about to run out it slowly lowers the volume on your phone so that the music slowly fades out. it also has ads, but they're not really obstructive. i'd recommend this app if this isnwhat you're looking for!
This used to be a 5-star app - simple, straightforward, reliable (even though for some apps it would only turn the volume down, not turn off the app). Lately, it's become unreliable. I'll start it, confirm that it's counting down...and then wake up later only to find sound still playing. It doesn't do it all the time, just randomly...which makes it even more frustrating.
