Sleepa: Relaxing sounds, Sleep
Sleepa brings great collection of HD sounds that can be mixed into the perfect relaxing ambiences. You can choose from different types of rain, nature sounds, city sounds, white noise or instruments. Save your favorite sound mixes so they are always by hand with you.
You can schedule the timer that will automatically stop the application. Sleepa does not require internet connection so you can use it anywhere without worrying about the data.
You can choose from 32 carefully selected sounds divided into the four groups:
- Rain sounds (i.e. rain on the window, ocean waves, thunders)
- Nature sounds (i.e. forest, creek, waterfall)
- City sounds (i.e. subway, train, fan, plane)
- Meditation sounds (white noise, piano, oriental flute)
The app can be used not only for the relaxation or sleep but also for meditation, work or concentration. It contains three most popular types of the white noise:
- White noise
- Pink noise
- Brown noise

I did really love the app before, and I'd give it higher stars. But ever since the update, there are ads that you have to go through. Why was that necessary?? It's also glitches, and will shut off (even if you put a clock on how long it runs for). I really loved that this plays soothing white noise and it's free. Is there away you can fix these concerns?
EDIT: I've realized the newer layout allows for editing & saving favorites. // Changing sound volumes of your favorites no longer offer you a chance to save as a new mix, which is crucial because the adjusted volumes do not automatically save. Timers aren't consistent---a combination of adding/removing sounds and changing the times often seem to confuse the app: the result ... sounds stop before timer ends. A single ad may require three exits just to end it completely.
I get it, you want to be remunerated for your work creating this app. But these ads are now incredibly intrusive. At the very least they could be silent and predictable, but I really just got a game ad when I tried to set a timer. That's silly. I was a fan of this app even through some of the quirks in recent updates but this one is not it.
This used to be my favourite sound app. After most recent update it doesn't work at all. Can't get any sounds to play. Trying to use the menu breaks the app. Very sad, I hope they can fix it soon, I had been using it for several years until now.
Ads have become very annoying and at the moment I want to sleep it makes it worse. Try to close the ad and instead it opens a new page. I'm about to uninstall if this continues. Update 5/17- now I can't even pause the sounds without an obnoxious ad for Tik Tok. Uninstalling the app today!
Love the sounds and the ability to quiet them to personal levels. I think the sleep timer and alarm are quite useful. I do, however, find it kind of odd that the same company has two almost identical apps. That bothers me most. Also, the paid version is really expensive for the little you're actually upgrading. If it were a cheap, one time fee, it would be more used, but high pricing like what it is is bound to make you lose some coustomers.
Fantastic. Love the ability to mix sounds. Beautiful interface. I downloaded this app on a whim, not expecting much, and am pleasantly surprised. Great for people with anxiety, OCD, and ADHD.
Keeps closing and turning off within minutes of turning it on. All started with the ads. I have had this app for a few years and tonight was the last straw. Uninstalling and finding a better app
The app actually works very very well the reason why I gave two stars is because after you've been struggling to try and get and decide to turn this app on at 1 a.m. in the morning and turn the timer on it makes you watch an ad for about 1 minutes which is the worst thing you can do for trying to get to
I've used this app for a few years now and enjoyed it but with the newest update came intrusive ads. A banner and was perfectly acceptable but loud videos are not. I would pay a small one time fee to upgrade to premium but not a subscription. Goodbye Sleepa. I need to start setting other apps.
Recent update added intrusive adds that you cannot close trying to force installs! Removed thus GARBAGE from my phone. It never has good sounds anyhow. Low resolution audio that was tinny sounding. Awful. Happy to uninstall it!
Lately the sounds aren't constant. The volume fluctuates drastically. I've been using the same sound forever (rain medium), and suddenly the sound pattern changed (also tried other sounds, and they're not constant either). I'm not sure whether it's the app's latest update, or Android's latest update (Samsung UI 4, Android 12), who's responsible for this, but the app is pretty much useless for me right now.
Used to be very good. Ability to mix sounds is great, but now ads WITH SOUND pops up when you try to change the settings. NOT good for sleeping.
More ads than the superbowl and $2.99 a month? Come on man.. At a reasonable price it would be worth it. As it is, free version is a junk app that isn't worth the install.
I use this app a lot to mask irritating sounds and promote calm & focus. I like the feature of being able to blend sounds. I paid to get no ads, it was worth the reasonable fee for unlimited use with no ads.
Great once you endure the ads. There's another ad everytime you make a change. It's morning bt the time the ads are done.
This app WAS great, until they starting putting in ridiculous game ads. They are unnecessary and gross, especially when they pop up and play loudly. Get rid of them please.
Good app for sleep but when a ad show up and i did not even touch the ad it takes me to play store and the app just wants me to download lazada or what??? Is the a bug? Idk but please fix it.
I love this app and it helps me fall asleep. My only complaint / request for future updates is a softer thunder option. I love low rolling rumbling thunder but I can't sleep to the occasional booms in the thunder option available in the current version.
No new relaxing sounds or features but just a lot, lot, of ads that will just not go away until you click on them and takes you to google play store.
I have had this app for years and always loved it but with the recent updates the ads are making it a horrible app. Looking for something else as I type.
Like many others here, I've been using this app for a few years. I loved the easy to use design and well crafted sounds. But the "upgrade" has been anything but. The ui is no longer intuitive, and the ads ruin the experience. Want to change a sound? Hope you like a 1 minute ad screaming at you. Want to add a new sound, decide you don't like it? There's another loud ad. I'm sorry it went this way, hope we just get a paid version of the original design. Or maybe just bring back banner ads.
I use this app every night 🌙 I love it! There are very few ads that pop up and I can use it with my phone on airplane mode 💗🙏 a lot of options for soundscapes and you can mix them together to make your own custom sounds.
Companies are getting greedy with subscriptions. The ads are are too persistent. Even after pressing back multiple times, after the ad completion, they just don't close away. And 270 Rs per month just for some basic sounds? I have had complex scheduling apps providing lot more features at much lesser.
This app used to be great, but the ads have become severely intrusive and it's essentially unusable at this point. I would have thrown them a few bucks for a paid version but they only have a ridiculously expensive subscription service now. Not worth your time at all anymore, there are other apps that do the same thing for substantially less money than this.
It's a good app, or used to be. I get why there's Ads, but ones that mute ALL media playing on your phone and slaps a full screen Ad up when you're trying to change or set anything in the App is just off putting. It certainly doesn't make me want to purchase it. In fact quite the opposite, I'll be looking elsewhere for another App.
