App has a wealth of features and is impressively performant and stable given the coordination with the tracker and the cloud that it has to do. Data is intuitively presented (great interactive charts!) and has been really useful for us. Only minor annoyance was how it's kind of quirky to choose which side of the bed a single sleeper is sleeping on, but now that we know how to change it it's no big deal.
Honestly, THE BEST sleep app ever. The tracker works remarkably well - it is able to distinguish when i fall asleep & wake up with incredible accuracy(with a full mattress in between the sensor pad). Best thing i love - i don't need to turn it off or on, or wear anything. Customer response very quick too. I'm from Australia, only improvement could be the timing of the stats (as it's in US time so a bit out of sync for us down under) Best app ever - both my partner use it daily!
Pretty cool app. Easy to set up. Interesting to see vitals during sleep and how they relate to lifestyle factors. The alarm hasnt let me down yet. Im not sure how it works but does vary the times it sounds leading me to believe theres something triggering it based on sleep patterns. I will say that on days i meet my goal i do feel better throughout the day.
***The Problem: Although my phone (and every other wireless device in the house) has no problem connecting to my CenturyLink WiFi router (technicolor c2000t), the Smartmotion processor/app appears to have a fatal connection issue with some routers. Even worse, it will detect the home network and tell you it's connected, even though the unit is not actually talking to the network. ***The Solution: Although customer support was responsive, none of their suggestions had any chance of working, I went through every setting on the router looking for a fix but to no avail. Buried in Sleeptacker's online FAQ, they have a list of incompatible WiFi routers, mine isn't on there, but clearly it should be. Through sheer luck I happened to be testing a mesh network (Eero), and sure enough the app/processor connected just fine. ***Summary: The information that the Sleeptracker App provides has been useful, and although the system is somewhat clunky (having to hit record every night) there’s a nice set of features. I hope that firmware updates can fix their connection problems, as having to buy a $300 mesh network as a workaround for an already expensive bed doesn’t seem reasonable.
App is useless. No, my sensors are not swapped and my wife's data is as inaccurate and useless as mine. Set up was easy and the UI clearly indicates what side is mine vs my wife's. The data gathered cannot be anything better than a fabrication-to-impress given that the app provides detail data for REM sleep, heartrate, etc. despite not even being in the bed during the time all the data was compiled. The app is Marketing nonsense.
If you want help that leads you to more restful and healthier sleep, then this is what you need. Period. The app is no nonsense and the support is spot on every time. Just do it. Revised 9/17/20 The more I use my device and software interactively the better I sleep. If you seek a good result it is essential to work with the results. If your tracker or app is faulty SLEEPTRACKER SUPPORT will get it going without question. Have a good sleep!
Developer says product is no longer supported so they won't support the app and have removed features previously available for the product (specifically Google fit integration). Only option from the developer was too buy their new hardware for support, which is exactly the same but has their new brand name printed on it for $350.
Will not work. 150 attempts to connect to the existing bed every single day, when it finally connects it will not produce the sleep reports. I paid for premium and the interface is just as bad if not worse. The free version would save the reports but you can only play with the free version just until you rely on the data then NADA!
Last night was the 3rd night of using sleeptracker app after years of it not being set up. The report from last night was very innacurate-awake for more than 4 hours and the app counted it as sleep. It said I was awake for 21 minutes. REM sleep, deep sleep and light sleep while I was awake. I got up 4 times and it only reported two times. The two nights before it seemed that the app was accurate but I am not sure about it now. Serta motion comfort II base with Serta I comfort mattress.
Been having a big problem with this for the past week orange flashing all the time I have sent emails and it takes 3 days to someone to get back to me I've had this for about 4 years and there's nothing wrong with my home internet. I don't know what's going on but it's extremely frustrating. I have reinstalled app uninstalled app unplugged replugged you name it I've done it
love this thing. will never sleep without one. gives great insight to patterns. was using while i was shopping for new mattress. was able to see massive differances in deep sleep and quality of sleep as i tried each one. Finally found a mattress that both my wife and I had a good balance sleep ( bed in box trial periods, sent 3 back due to personal comfort, that was reflected in the data provided by this app) I have purchased for my friends so they can get the data provided by this app as well.
Got my sleeptracker in the mail.... The software will NOT connect to my wifi no matter what I do. I've tried the setup from my android phone, my wifes iphone, nothing works. Makes the whole thing worthless. I have many other devices connected to my WIFI. I've rebooted routers etc. Not my routers issue.
Have tried Huawei watch, Mi Band, Fitbit, Peak (closed), Withings Sleep. So far, considering Peak and SleepTracker are the best. Report is detail and accurate (at least judging from in bed and get up times). It also allow editing to correct mistakes of starting and ending times (rare).
Sleep tracker Continues to help me focus on key areas to improve my sleep. Alexa integration working well. App has helped to significantly improve the quality of my sleep and to come up with a plan for further improvement. My experience has shown that patience is important as improvements will occur slowly but will occur with the help of this app..Tech service has always responded quickly and helpfully often proactively when required.
A bit glitchy at times (it can take a few tries to press certain buttons), but doesn't detract from how cool and interesting the app is. The sensors themselves work really well!
I have tried many sleep tracker devices and apps and this is the most accurate so far, insights are good and in depth. Google Fit integration/sync is spotty and it lacks other integrations (ie Samsung Health) hopefully this will improve soon
I love the automation, after setup you dont have to do anything. it alerts you when you report is ready. the insights are great too. they help you to determine what helps and hurts you sleep allowing you to fine tune you sleeping habits. GREAT SYSTEM!
A useful app. It does have a hard time telling the difference between light sleep and lying still after you wake up. Overall it has given me insights that have proved to be very useful in improving my sleep.
Accurate and I like it. My favorite was that it could wake you at an appropriate time in your cycle near your alarm time. But lately the alarm has been glitching out and not working properly. So I may have to remove it as it wastes my phone battery with the alarm. (Instead of playing the music, I just get the "alert" click from my phone, non stop. )
