Slice: Order delicious pizza from local pizzerias!

This app has been great for finding my new favorite pizza place and it's great to support a local one. The delivery fees are more reasonable than most, it's possible to get points for a free pizza, reordering is super easy without a bunch of steps demanding you buy more, and the one time I've had to reach out to customer service in the months I've used the app they were fast, friendly, and fixed our problem right away.

the past orders tab is broken on the app and as a result, tracking is not available. also will show sister stores that are 30 mins or more away from the one in my neighborhood, causing mistaken orders. it shouldn't show results out of a certain radius. if they wouldn't want to drive to deliver that far, I don't want to order and drive that far, esp when I think it's a block away.

Works perfectly fine for its purpose. I will never understand, though, why it will give me a push notification when my order is received, but not when it's ready for pickup. Update: I contacted Slice customer support re: the lack of pickup notification and they told me that push notifications aren't even an option, even though there is clearly an option in the settings. Down to 3 stars. 2nd Update: Developer clearly needs to re-read my review more closely.

Suddenly the app has stopped working. I open it and it tells me to check my connection and try again. There's nothing wrong with my connection, the app has just stopped working. I'm up-to-date, so it's not that it needs an update or anything. Update: I emailed your support with screenshots and haven't heard back. Your chat support was less than helpful as well. I guess I'm just done using your app then, since it doesn't work?

Have had to reach out to their customer service twice today and they were immediately available AND extremely nice and helpful, including fixing my mistake and cancelling an order I put in for another state altogether. The app didn't warn me that it seemed odd based on my location to order from Ohio, but it's still my bad. I tried to get them to leave the tip out of my refund, but they told me they'd make the place whole since my order was cancelled so close to pickup. Fantastic!

Great little app that is easy to use. My go-to when I want some pizza from a local shop. My only complaint is that the app appears to be a bit broken for me and no longer displays order status and active orders. That section of the app just always shows "No Orders," even right after I place one.

Pretty good to great for restaurants that are using it. Only minor annoyance I've noticed is when looking for a specific restaurant with a common name or especially a franchise, it makes you click through for addresses. I think search results should at least include the town. Love the standardization of the ordering process though. Quick and easy.

I'm quite satisfied with the Slice app. I use it frequently to order Italian food, and it works well. I like the status updates that it gives, and I've never had a problem picking up the food after I order using Slice. The only issue that I have, is that the status updates are sometimes odd. At times, I don't get the alert that my food is ready, and another odd thing I've seen is that I'll get the original text with an estimated time, then get an email and app notification with a different time. I'm guessing that the restaurant workers have to enter something for the estimated pickup time, and also to indicate that the order is ready. Yesterday, it said that my order was ready, but I had to wait ten minutes after I arrived for it to actually be ready.

The app functions well enough. However, it seems to want to discourage fair tipping, as the highest one-tap-tip option is 15 percent, when it should be 20 at minimum. And "custom tip" makes you type the dollar amount, not the percentage. So I have to perform the extra step of calculateling my own tip if I want to pay the worker fairly, which is insulting.

I like this app, I use it a lot, but it's got some kind of bug. Whenever I try to see my past orders - including orders I've just placed - they aren't there.....Not even if I open it from the link in the notifications (sms/push) to view/track them. So I'm also unable to track them. Other than that it's really good. *This is happening when I'm logged in...I don't use Slice (the site or the app if I'm not logged in...) All of my other account info is there including my pizza rewards points.

Tried for the first time today, placed order and preceded to wait for it to get delivered. Checked the app after waiting for a bit to see that it was cancelled. After a quick chat with support, turns out the driver had an emergency and couldn't complete the order. The charge was voided and once it's cleared from my statement I'm deleting and picking up my orders myself.

So far I have been pretty happy with this app! There's only a couple suggestions I can give to make it a 5 star app. First suggestion would be there should be more special offers and discounts available to customers. I like that you can collect slices and after so many you get a special offer but because of how expensive it is to order out we don't utilize the app enough to get that offer. We could order out more often if there were more specials or discounts available. Very easy app to use!

This app supports the smaller businesses, however, it is so poorly made it is not worth it. I could've made a better app during my undergrad years. The non-existent ability to track makes this app far inferior to other basic delivery apps. Also, it says "Ready in 20-30 min", as soon as you order you'll get an update saying your order has been delayed by 1-2 hours because they're busy. This has happened every single time I have ordered. Of the 4 times I've ordered, all 4 were very late.

I love slice because 1) they are the best lol & 2) they support local businesses more than all the other delivery apps combined. I also enjoy finding new and/or places I've never heard of to try but mostly appreciate being able to support small businesses without adding any extra pressures from additional fees & taxes that they have to pay.

I'm having trouble with the tips. I don't want to tip until I get the order and see that everything's correct, but if I select 'custom' and put in $0 it still adds a tip and if I select 'cash' it still adds a tip. This must be corrected.

I've used this app 3 times for pizza delivery and only one of those times I got the pizza without any problems. When i contacted the help line both times, the people were very unhelpful. There are many other delivery services that I would recommend over Slice.

Not their fault that I am 0-2 ordering from the app. First pizza place said my order was on its way in the app. Then suddenly canceled order. Cust service said the place had delivery service that wasn't available so the order was canceled. Next I tried to redeem my free pizza at a different pizza place and added a topping. Since they were giving me a free pizza I would order another pizza w/ 3 toppings. Paid for the 2nd pizza, 4 toppings, tax, delivery fee, tip, support fee. Get 1 plain cheese!!

Terrible interface impossible to pay when ready to checkout. Keeps asking for delivery time I choose asap or anything else and it won't let me progress. Menus are terribly structured. Use door dash real app with real developer. @slice i tried for six months ur app. It keeps getting more worse.

I appreciate Slice offers a fully functional mobile/desktop website, but I wish they didn't require the application download just to redeem a promotional offer. It's ridiculous there has to be an app for everything. I hope one day, they offer a Windows and MacOS app to complement their mobile apps as not everyone has a smartphone or tablet. If they did, I would update my rating to a 5. But the mobile device requirement for a promo deal is why I have chosen a 1 star rating at this time.

Wouldn't recommend using this app rn. I order with them and the driver picked up my order and then canceled. So I ordered it again and the same thing happened. Slice is giving me a full refund but people are just really dishonest right now. I went to the store to ask what happened and I was told the driver came picked up my order and canceled it. Be careful!

Review is not related to the app but for the Slice system. We ordered food on the Slice website for the Superbowl, and on the scheduled time we went to pick up, the restaurant employees said our order was not in their system. We ended up being inconvenienced and waited for an extra hour for them to make our food. The 3rd party system seems like it needs some work.

I really like that this app allows for small businesses and local pizza shops. It makes ordering simple and convenient, without forcing me to go through multiple websites or to call multiple places. I'd always rather eat local pizza than chain Pizza. This makes that easy. Order Tips go directly to the shop and not to the app. A+, five stars

The free pizza that's a 25 dollar values, isn't true. Unless a place charges you 25 for a large cheese pizza. I couldn't add toppings to the pizza becuase it would charge me for the toppings. Even with the toppings it was less than a 15 value and it wasn't free. I'll just call the places I buy from I won't be using the app anymore. Than the order ended up being canceled and never got the free pizza back.

Got frustrated trying to place a pick up order at a restraunt we are 2 minutes from. Nomatter what I did it was forcing me to do delivery. No option to change to pick up. Started over multiple times selecting restraunt from the pick up list. Very disappointing. Called and placed my order instead. Shouldn't be hard to place a pick up order online. Waste of time.

I really love slice, but I wish the reward system was better. I use slice a lot and if we get $20.00 for a free pizza, we should have a $20.00 credit and not only be able 2 use $13.00 out of the $20.00 for 1 plain pizza. I think the reward system is selfish and a little greedy. I do know that slice ups some menu prices also, so Idk who benefits from that, but it isn't nice to be deceitful. All in all though, I do love the app. It is the best one that Ik of bcause there are much more greedy 1s.

HALF star! Was 5 stars: it was perfect: Easy ordering, delivery, tipping in app PLUS free pizza after 8 ordered! I changed to 1/2 stars since I can't order pizza for delivery through the app all of a sudden. Slice says my restaurant won't deliver to my address! 🤔 Last order had to be called in(didn't go toward my order count-would have been 8/8 toward free). This time on Slice I ordered pick up but noted delivery-no free pizza! 😭 The Restaurant says they haven't changed delivery area. Slice???

easy to use. app remembers order history so reorder is simple and fast. Can select pizza toppings by left side, right side, whole. Very easy. Delivery is quick.

Fantastic app. Help me compare prices, find delivery prices, view menu, order, and pay in seconds. Download and sign up for account maybe 1 more second. So easy even a fool could uae this app. Pizza was great and I found a place that also had nachos. After the pizza was deliverd I decided to add more tip. All I had to do was chat with customer service and asked to raise tip and it was done, again this took 2 seconds. Love how easy this is to use.😉

I've updated the app but the Orders tab never works it always says no history! I've never been able to check order statuses when I place through Slice, unless I call. I'd use it more often if they would fix it!

Great for comparing delivery fees between locations. Also easy to do repeat orders from same location and complete order with just around 5 clicks. Tips are preset at 15%, 20% or custom. Overall, there are just a lot of common sense options that allow the process to be very intuitive; ie: you can save more than one address so, if you're over a friend's house regularly, you just select the presaved address you entered in your profile from a drop down menu. That's it. NTM points for free pizza..
