a really excellent feature set. the mod tools are particularly strong. would be perfect if it supported reddit sub appearances properly like the Reddit app does, but this is a minor quibble. moderation is a lot easier than sync or boost, both of which i used a lot before finding this. great work, devs. top quality product.
Bought this for the card/slideshow view, and then immediately encountered a problem with it -- audio for the item before or after the one I'm looking at will often play before I get to the item or after I've moved on. Unexpected, context-less noise randomly butting in. Frustrating. I'm on a Samsung Galaxy Note 8 for what it's worth. Please fix.
Having tried all the Reddit clients available, I can say that Slide Pro is THE best one. It is pricey, but well worth it. It's easy to use, fast and has a pleasing layout. Each subreddit can be individually customized.
I've used this app for about 3 years and was very happy. However, something appears to have broken recently. The majority of videos no longer play with sound. It looks like the app hasn't been updated in years either. Disappointing.
THIS IS THE WORST REDDIT APP!!!! Don't waste your money or your time with this app. It constantly glitches out and crashes. The gallery hardly works and when it does, it plays the next video over the top of the video you want to see. If not, it'll play the AUDIO of the next video on top of your current video. The reply system is a joke too, you can't reply without it seizing up and crashing. I've tried emailing the devs but they won't respond.
Out of the many Reddit clients there are, I've found Slide to be my favorite. I've been using it for the past year or so and I absolutely love it. Since it's already an ad-free app, I decided to buy this Pro key to support the awesome dev! Great work! 💯
It would be very lovely if this app has integrated proxy setting, because reddit is blocked in some countries and not able to open is without proxy. However, I would prefer only user proxy or vpn only in this app without hustling for 3rd party vpn. To wrap up, make all in one app with proxy integration for blocked country.
I wanted dark mode so I clicked "go pro" and paid for pro in the app store. After it downloaded, I fully edited out of the app and re-launched it but it still wasn't the pro version. Clicking "go pro" just opens up the app store with the pro version purchased but the only option is to uninstall. I actually tried a few days ago with the same result so I refunded my purchase and decided to try again today. Still no pro even though I paid... Such a hassle
Best Reddit app out there, the material design is great and makes the app much more attractive while the app design is intuitive and can be operated with just one finger.
My favourite Reddit app indeed: Beautiful interface, top customization and fast browsing. Also regular useful updates. All the thanks and good wishes to the developers and maintainers of Slide for Reddit.
Bought it thinking its like ipad. Its totally nod as polished as ipad. And it looks worse on tablet than on phone. Doesn't even have autoplay videos and it's utterly frustrating to press every single post to see the gif/video.
Best reader for reddit I found so far for tablets. Has landscape mode, UI is very customizable, visually good looking and convenient.
Hasn't worked well since android O. Fails to load thumbnails until restarting the app after 1 to 2 minutes of use. Was pretty great until then.
Fairly new to the app & don't have a thorough "feel" of it to give an objective review, but this dev gets my $ and 5 stars for making a solid app w/o stooping to nag-ware and the type of ad intrusions that make me want to throw my phone in a wood chipper & make too many mobile experinces (apps/sites/etc) feel sleazy overall. Quite confident the app will warrant those shiny 5-stars based on my experience so far & also since I def. dont put idealism on some lofty perch above proper merit, haha
The new/pro feature full screen gallery loads and plays thd next video as soon as it loads not when you loom at it.
Way better experience than the Reddit app, and their terrible broken mobile website. Well worth a few bucks to unlock some features and support the developer.
I wasn't lacking any features in the base app, just wanted to support devs making FOSS software! Good work!
It lacks basic Reddit features such as profile avatars and flair within subreddits. The official Reddit app is improving greatly over this app and has frequent updates unlike this one.
Doesn't work. When you click to get pro on the main app it takes you here and you pay and it unlocks nothing. Broken.
Used it from another repo. Wanted to pay for your hard work keep it up. Love it!!
Not worth paying for when features are broken for months on end with no fix.
Once I got it personalized, this has been the only way I use reddit. Simply the best, well worth the few bucks!
Stops loading things in gallery view, seems to just stop loading stuff altogether. Refunded pro.
Bought to support the software, works so beautifully, couldn't stop myself from buying.
Best reddit app easy. Very customizable and easy to use.
Love the app best Reddit app out there! Isn't available on the oneplus 7 pro! I want this app back so badly
It was a pretty good app. But now there are advertisements in the paid version. That's going to be the nail in the coffin here since I also have to close the app and then re-open if fresh almost every time I wanted to use it or else it wouldn't load anything. Need to update: The ads stopped. The app is great usually. Android 10 gestures interfere a bit due to the swipe from left being built in to the system now but it really only changes the ability to pull up a subreddi's sidebar.
