Works great! I only wish the support for reddit videos should be improved. As of now, you have to wait for the video to be downloaded fully before it plays. The use of reddit as a host for videos is becoming more common, so I hope this gets addressed soon.
Main app needs 3 COLUMNS in portrait mode to be the best. Also needs a different color than white for the /r/subreddit (green or blue etc). Looks abandonware for nearly 4 years.
Works well. I love that pressing fullscreen on a youtube vid brings it up in landscape even while locked to portrait mode but this would be a 5 star if it would stop rotating back to portrait when I move.
Nice Reddit reader. Always use the app's back arrow (not the device back button) else you may back right out of the app and have to restart reading from the top of your feed.
Watching videos with the YouTube player has lately been causing my pixel 2 to soft reboot. It seems to be when exiting a video.
Videos do not play audio. No option to choose bandwidth/quality for default playback. No update since December, 2016.
i wish reddit domain videos to be streamed as well. or add an option to redirect the link to an external player. Because external ones work fine.
Opening YouTube videos in slide now crashes my phone every single time. Will be switching clients now.
Watching videos require them to be downloaded completely. You cannot stream.
The player does not work on K20 Pro, would change my rating if this could be fixed.
Doesn't work. Still asks me to download this plugin everytime I open a video.
Customizable and a great experience to use. No complaints. ✌
Links to YouTube open in YouTube with "video not found", open externally works.
Would be really good but crashes constantly.
...just overlays the vids w/o having to swap apps correct?
it's not working :/
Does what it says on the tin. It is important to note that this is a plug-in for Slide, and not a standalone app. Make sure you have Slide before you install this app.
App is full of bugs and the developer makes excuses and doesn't fix them. Some bugs have been present for 2 years now.
Would be nice to be able to exand to fit screen when in full screen mode for the Galaxy S8 abnormal aspect ratio. Other than that it's great
Works for a few videos then crashes on my Moto G 4G Android 8.1, displays an error message on every attempt on my LG V30 Android 7.1.2.
I find it ridiculous the only way to watch a video on landscape while laying on my side is by locking my phone rotation on landscape. Other than that? Works as intended.
Awesome to be able to check out a video without having to leave Reddit!
Works great! Opening all YouTube links in this now.
I don't use the reddit app but I use this for YouTube videos. Great app
Improvement in more than my Reddit videos which is really nice.
Thank you for making these awesome apps!
Videos take longer to load compared to the YouTube app.
Basic Material reddit app without shiny stuff you can have on other apps, but still full customizable, free and open source. Lacks some stability sometimes and setting up the app could be easier. Enhancing that would bring the fifth star.
