Slidebox - Photo Organizer

Just tried it. Sorting and deleting is an absolute breeze. But I really wish you can sort by date. Android photos are usually seperated by line and date label based on the date. That function is critical to my work. It makes it much easier transfer to pc and sort report evidences into weeks. Without it, I can't really consider this app, however much I like using it.

This app is a AMAZING. Executive dysfunction makes my phone a mess. It is such a breeze to sort and trash pictures with this app! The thought of organizing was so anxiety inducing to me that I never got around to do it. Using this app is actually the opposite - it actually works as a stim for me and helps me unwind. I'd highly recommend it to anyone, especially my fellow ND folks. Suggestions: video support would be great! I also agree with those asking for double rows at the bottom.

I loved the app, so, so useful in organising files. However, ever since I cjanged phones, i get an error message telling me that the app was built for an older version of android, and can't access my albums anymore, so would have to start organising again from scratch. Is an update planned? Says in the description that the last update was in 2016...

It's COOL it's HOT but never WARM! Plain, simple, does the job! It lists and shows ALL your photos; Next, give photo a folder name, press folder for current photo and it sends your photo to that folder. Do the same with next photo. Couldn't be easier! Could take long time depending on number of photos on your phone. You can also save your new folders to your default gallery. I think you'll love this app. FREE, NO ADS and no pro to buy . . . it's already a PRO! Hats off to the Author!

It's a real shame the album's are in a single row meaning you can have a maximum of 5 easily clickable. If the app allowed wrapping of albums so we had double, or triple rows to choose from it would be far more powerful an organisation tool. Also if it could open up the album's it's created and allow us to create sub albums the same way as we create top level albums, then this would be the most useful app I've ever encountered.

This is the best organizers ever. Its literally easy and fast though thwre are some things you can change for example how the albums in the gallerg should also be in the app, not just all the photos together. It can get confusing sometimes. But overall an amazing app!

I would like predefined albums to cover all sides of the screen, at least bottom, left and right,to have more options. Also I need to be able to choose multiple images and move together in a folder. Right now,, when you select an image, it just jumps to it. But it should allow me to long press and select multiple images and all of them to send to a album. I would contribute for such a feature.

Easily the best option for sorting through images, but due to the fact it hasn't been updated in years and likely never will be it has some bugs, some of which cause crashing, and the app will never get SD card support despite saying it will. Regardless it's still one of the best apps for this, I can only hope it one day gets the support it needs, or for someone to make their own version of the app.

Very useful app, however, there are some things that can be improved imo. First one is the folder selection, I can't add folders into the "albums" section for some reason. My albums are located in the internal storage so I'm not sure why it's not working out for me. Second is, if you recover a photo you accidentally swiped to delete, you get right back to the beginning which was a bit frustrating when I didn't particularly remember where I left off. Other than that, it's a must have!

Incredibly useful app for organising your photos. It's very fast and responsive. I've been using this app for months and months... You set some album names and a single photo from your device will appear large on your screen... Tap the album you want it in and then the next photo will come up (fast!). If a photo appears that you want to delete, swipe up on the screen and you will flick it over to the bin :D it's a bit like Tinder. Would highly recommend this app! Thanks Dev! A+++

This is by far the best app to quickly organize all the photos that I get everyday in Whatsapp. It's very easy to use. Swipe up and it's in trash, but you get a chance to undo. I've created some albums and clicking on that album name puts the photo in the album. Swipe left to procastinate. I do wish it also included videos.

Love this app quick way to sort photos on your phone into albums/ folders. It could be improved by being able to hide folders because it gets slower to use the more albums you have as you have to scroll across all of them in a single line and generally only need to see 5 or six at a time. The remove folder command says it puts all the pictures back into unsorted which isn't helpful. Thank you for making this app.

It's not perfect but it does exactly what it intends to do well. This is my first time having an organized photo gallery and it's easy as swiping. Some ideas for next version: If you have too many folders, the horizontal scrolling is awkward. Maybe swipe up on folders for a second row. Or subfolders?

Great concept, but if you have more than 5 folders, you can't put any new photos into any of the folders older than the last 5 you created. There is no option to change the folders you want to use, so you're very limited in how much you can organize. I don't know how someone would have less than 5 albums they'd want to separate their folders into, but that's what it does.

Doesn't let you view existing folders. It also has one of my BIGGEST struggles and I didn't even realize until opening social media. All the photos I organized counted as new photos and the date changed. All the old photos went to the top as if they were new. Not in my actual gallery, but when I go to post on Instagram or Snapchat. Dont want photos from a year ago at the top instead of my recent photos. No way to fix this other than to delete the photos for good :/

UI is perfect and exactly what I want, but I can't build off my existing folders on my phone and the folders created in the app stay in the app. This kind of defeats the whole purpose. For example I can't move the folders to a backup on my computer because they wouldn't be sorted anywhere except in the app

Unless I'm missing a search term or something, if you love to make multiple pics of the same thing and then are usually too lazy to sort them into folders/trash afterwards (I usually favorite some, but still - too many) - this one's for you. 20k+ pics on this phone - it's such a huge backlog that doing it on the stock gallery app would take me years, lol. With this tho, I've already trashed ~400pics and sorted ~80 in 6 albums. Thank you.

Absolutely LOVE this app. HOWEVER, I would've loved it if the app would allow us to also sift through any of our albums in the same manner. So that once we are done sorting the unsorted, we can further sub-sort within the albums we have created! Otherwise everything about the app is fantastic. Job well done! :)

Excellent app. But needs some upgrades. When lots of folders are created. I wish I could swipe the screen upwards to show folders in a grid, to place image into. Instead of swiping left right constantly. The ability to check file info. App hasn't been updated since 2016. Unlikely we'll ever see an update.

This app is intended to group all your mixed collection of photos into specific folder that you create. It helped me really well to group or delete my whatsapp images that was saved over the past 4 years. App development of this app has been stopped for over 3 years. So i think there is no use in suggesting for improvements. Even then i wish if this app had sd card support, video sorting feature and an option to select the folder which had to be sorted instead of showing the complete media.

I very handy app. Very easy to sort, file and delete photos. Unfortunately when I came to review the photos in their albums blanks appeared in the matrix view of the folders even though the photos were there. Please fix if you can because I like the functionality of the app.

Would have been 5 stars, but the app doesn't work well on my new device. It doesn't move photos into folders sometimes, and I'll have to go and move them manually. I have a new Samsung S21+. The app always worked well on my old device, and I've been using it for years. Hoping this gets fixed so I don't have to get a new app.

I don't usually give a review to apps but this one, I felt like I needed to. I've had problems on my default gallery, I experience glitches and sometimes my pics get deleted, but with SLIDEBOX my problem was solved! Hands down! One of the best photo organizer! Not to mention the aesthetic of the app is cute too. 5 stars!

Doesn't work well with the latest Android Update I used to love this app on IOS and it worked fabulously and I'd love for it to work like that on this phone but unlike the IOS it doesn't seem to delete photos from your actual phone's photo folder. In addition to that, you can't share photos. It makes me sad because this app worked so flawlessly on my iPhone. I hope they fix it because I honestly loved it when it worked.

I'm really loving this so far, it used to take me hours to sort through my pictures and albums and now I'm sad i didn't download this sooner. Its super simple and minimalistic which is great! My only complaint is that i wish you could choose which folder you were sorting at a time instead of your gallery all at once because sometimes i want pictures to be kept in the folder they were originally placed. Also maybe add a cropping feature?

Tried to organise my photos into different folders but was unable to organise it then by the dates. Now I have been left with my videos at the top of the camera roll with old ones to new ones. And the photos are all jumbled up in my camera roll. Disappointed with the app as it didn't do what I wished. Going to find another app that does what I want. Very upset with my experience. Now my new photos are in with old photos.

Very easy to use! Google photos made a million different folders that were a complete mix of photos/downloads/screenshots. I could never find anything! Can't wait for SD card support! Also would be nice to be able to "re-sort" my albums, incase they get too big.

Great app! I love how it organizes all of my gallery and stops me from having to scroll down and down and then back up when I missed what I was looking for! Super helpful, I only gave it four stars though because I'm unsure what happens when you download photos and where they go, so if someone could PLEASE solve my problem I would change my review to five stars. Overall really great app!! I recommend!
