Does anyone know if this app has been abandoned? This page states it was last updated August 6, 2013. I am all for Google leaving apps in the store 1) if they still work, and 2) the developer states as this one does that it does not work with Android versions 6 and above. But, I also think Google Play should put a bold disclaimer on the top of the first Google Play Store page for every abandoned app that states something like: "NOTICE/WARNING/CAUTION ... take your pick ... Development and Support ceased for this product on August 6, 2013. However, it should still work for Android versions 2.2 through 5.1." I was in the process of writing the developer a suggestion for a new feature when I noticed there has not been a release in six years. Then discovered his website is no more. I have 197 apps installed on my cell phone. I am always looking, shopping, evaluating, installing, and uninstalling apps. It is very frustrating when one is spending time comparing apps, only to find out an app was abandoned years ago. I've never understood Google's reasoning for not having filters for apps in the play store; Free/Paid, Active/Abandoned; 2+-Star, 3+-Star, 4+-Star; ...
Folks, the app had been abandoned. Last updated in 2013. I'm a diehard fan, but it slows down my phones, or crashes. I'm getting warnings that it's not supported by android, since android 10. So far Microsoft swiftkey seems the closes to functionality.
New: still missing Estonian language pack after two years. (it used to be there but now you can't download it anymore) Old: Was good, but now it's missing many of the languages dictionaries. Also stop thinking I'm sliding when it's. 1 mm or when using multiple Fingers simultaneously (accidentally)
I've owned this app for years(Paid version),and just got a New GalaxyS10 and apparently now is not compatible! :( You expect them to keep up with the newer phones......or at least make the previous version compatible.
Used to be great. Then they moved on to a new version and now it barely functions anymore. Predictions are garbage, buttons enter other values, constantly crashes.
Have used for years (not sliding, in ABC mode) but new phone now shows you want access to photos (why), Device ID and calls status (why). Contacts and Mic I understand, but I will see how things go.
Had this for years and loved it. Sadly with the recent update to my S8 the keyboard pops up super tiny on my screen and I can't resize it. Will have to look for another slide keyboard if it isn't fixed. :(
I don't know, maybe it's just the LG but everyone keyboard I try works fine for about 5 min then the keyboard icon appears, the keyboards state replacing regular words with gibberish and gets all glitching and then Android system tells me to change it out. back to square on.
This app wrestles with my Samsung Galaxy but despite that you get five stars. Samsung Galaxy keeps killing this app and having to restart it! Samsung Galaxy is a bully but slide it keyboard can handle it in any language... Now, that's what I'm talking about and that's what I'm SPELLING with!!
It's great, fast and more accurate than others, however, when I tupe in Spanish I can't find the accents, as well the emojis are not readily available while typing.
This is the worst swipe app. Couldn't get the simplest words right. I spent more time correcting mistakes. I'm using another app to type this. All words are correct.
A legacy app for my legacy phone Read in the comments that this only works up to Android 5.1, well if you need a keyboard, there plenty of options, but this was the best one for my old jelly bean 4.2
Doesn't allow for word selection. I slide bc is faster but if I make a mistake or it selects the wrong possible word I have to go back and often has to single key text

I own this app, used it for years. loaded the new version on my galaxy & it is horable. Swiping is impossible, word prediction, the thing U brag about IS horrible. my keyboard locks if I swipe fast and this is a new phone. Worst improvment, it radomly freezes a swipe, then sends the mistakes on is own. R U pretending you don't read the these reviews? Who got paid so much for thid defective update that you ignore your paying customers? Show some respect, fix this or give me a refund.
Would be a solid keyboard except there's no dedicated option to bring up and emoji keyboard. What it brings up are symbols like :) or :_) etc. That's useless.
Uninstalling, word prediction while typing is not very good at all. Spoken word is great but I don't always have the opportunity to do that
Want to love it. Buggy since last update, copy/paste window won't go away and it wants to insert my email address everywhere. It's becoming so unbearable that I'm deleting for now.
Best app I use the most. Use different language packs like Afrikaans. Can't live without it, seriously! Please update to new android versions
Good app, but the Dutch azerty does not work - it was not found in the play store. Is there a fix for this?
Not accurate. Type slide and you get slices, I don't like swype now (or whatever its now called) but better than this.

too invasive....access to mic....collecting login and pw...really? not necessary...build an honest app, quit collecting private info that's gonna get hacked off your servers.

I used to love it bought the pro version because the app was so awesome. Now it crashes on me continually. I would love to see those bugs fixed also no matter what I do it seems to already put the word "three" 99% of the time instead of the. Would love to see word recognition for sliding be more sensitive to get accurate words.
