SlideOver Messaging
This app is meant to be used alongside your messaging app of choice, whether that is the stock app, Go SMS, Handsent, Textra, or any of the other 3rd party messaging apps available on the Play Store. It is meant to extend upon that apps functionality and give you extra features that aren't present in most/any apps.
Features:
- An always on "bubble" to access your latest messages from anywhere (without even leaving your current app!)
- Quickly reply to a new message with the Quick Peek option, brought up by a simple tap on the SlideOver bubble
- Easily move and manage the SlideOver bubble with a long press to drag option and a double click to change the sliver width option.
- The SlideOver bubble will show contact pictures and some of the message with a very cool animation on new SMS messages
- Option to "ping" the SlideOver bubble when the user unlocks the device and there is an unread message.
- Reply without pausing your YouTube and most other video services and games (something that usual quick reply boxes could never do!)
- TONS of customization options
- and lots of other stuff
Usage:
1.) Download SlideOver Messaging2.) Open the main app to view the settings page and apply any of the settings you think fit!3.) That's it! Now just wait for a new message to come though and view it via the SlideOver bubble and reply quickly to conversations via the quick peek dialog!
Notes:
Some 3rd party messaging apps block the text message receivers that I use to display the messages to the SlideOver bubble. It is a very easy workaround though luckily, simply uninstall and then re-install your 3rd party messaging app (such as Go SMS) and the messages will come up in both your notification tray (through the 3rd party app) and the SlideOver bubble (through my app).
Very simple fix :)
Another thing to look out for is that the system may not mark your messages as sent, even if they are. This is a bug we have had with Samsung phones, it seems as though they do things a little bit different and I have been unable to find a workaround so far.
There is also no support for Android 4.4 because of a new system that they implemented with default messaging applications. As this app is not meant to replace your default app, there will be no way to send messages.

When I send messages, they do not appear in Textra. (I did the appropriate reinstall) I love the functionality of this app, but it's unusable on my G2 without the messages appearing in both places. The messages do appear in the stock messaging app but never get out of the "sending" loop. I really hope this functionality gets developed and used. It's a fantastic idea and so much improved from the normal texting pop-up options.
Great concept love the animation. But Needs work. Ringtone notification doesn't seem to work when using this app. Also I found that when checking peek view unread only....received messages don't appear in the peek view box and hitting send will force close app, additionally when recieving multiple text while replying to one person it overides who youre replying to and sends reply to the newest incoming message
Would have been my default sms app if only it had the ability to show the full message. Seems to cut long messages short, and there's not even an indicator that it had cut them so I still end up checking my stock sms app, which kind of makes the whole process redundant. I hope to see this sorted in the next update! Thanks guys! :)
Its great app! I couldn't find anything that comes close to something similar like this one. My problem though is that if I send a msg from actual app it sends it but when i goto my stock android app it shows the msg i sent from the app but its not registering that it was ever sent. Pleases fix i have galaxy note 2 with software 4.3
The work is great the idea and the ui is beautiful... The functionality isn't there. Very laggy and buggy also freeze alot.. will watch this app for improvements and will re download in the future
Really a 5 star app, potentially 10 star app if few things tweaked. Gets closed despite workaround. Looking for solution. BUT GREAT FOR YOUTUBE WITHOUT BEING SHUTDOWN WHEN A TEXT COMES IN. But developers don't have an email here for support. Keeps being shutdown by unknown app/process and STOCK APP DOESN'T REFLECT READ TEXTS. No playstore description either. Can this be fixed? Then will be perfect! What's so difficult to post ANY working email that will go where u can read & respond? C'MON MAN. It's 2016.
The only real issue is the fact that messages sent in peekview appear as still sending in stock sms (although it does send). Also due to font color, text in peekview are very hard to read.
I like the concept but the app is crashing making it unusable. Please fix, it deserves 5 stars.

Love the app...had the opportunity to take over my messenger widget, IF it would send messages. When I try to reply to messages using this app they don't get sent. Very frustrating. FIX IT!
I really enjoy the features of the app, but I wish it was supported on my Xperia Tablet Z, and support more than the last 3 messages
Also really hard to read messages even with opacity set to 85% wish I could change the font color for better visibility
I was used to this feature on their original app sliding messaging. When I switched to evolve SMS it was hard, but then I added this app and now it's the perfect SMS app in the play store.
Disappears but Works only when i keep the slideover settings in recent apps, I should be able to close all my recent apps. I'm using hello sms. By the way I ticked foreground service

Make the phone get slow for a few seconds. Messages take a bit linger to receive.
Works greats, just wish the message box was bigger so I can see the whole message that's being sent. I then have to go to my messages to read the entire text, which is defeating the purpose of this app.
When I use this with evolvesms, I don't get notified via evolvesms whenever I receive a new message (no ringtone goes off) and new messages don't show up in notifications
Works pretty good. Wow be nice to have a kik extension though. Just a suggestion

Doesn't allow "sliding sms" to be opened. It's not showing up in the apps list

You can send emojis as a regular message without us using converting to SMS
No colors or background options
When you pull up the quick peel menu and type in your message, it blends in with the background of the quick peek. And if the opacity is down, my recieved message blends in. You should add a white font with black outline. That's my only complaint for now, difficulty seeing text.
