Difficult to set up the actual slingbox 500 but the app works nearly as it should. No cast option as they had once promised. It should be an integral part of the slingbox solution, it makes sense for so many users.
I have used my SlingPlayer app for several years with no issues. I am able to connect over any internet connection while I am travelling anywhere in the country. Great App...
We have had a Sling Box - for what seems like forever. We have used the Slingplayer many times on vacation. AS long as the internet is up and running - it is GREAT!!!
Works anywhere in the world? Wrong! Well not anymore, until they banned one entire country: Romania a month or so ago for no apparent reason. Support does not exist. That slingbox is now paperweight since its out of warranty and there's nobody to talk to about this odd country-wide ban.
Does what it's supposed to. Dropped a star because it won't work on phones and the phone version has pathetic remote functions.
This is great app, it dont matter were I go I can watch my favorite tv programq, even while traveling it is amazine

I have 3. One always says needs reconfigured. One always going offline and I'm half way across country and depend on these working. So one of three works correctly. Each update has screwed up something. Or it's the firmware. They add guides and nothing on how to use them. This should all be touch friendly. Wish voodoo still made a box.
Very good for watching my slingbox and the virtual remote works fine. The only problem Igor is that owith virtual remote I cannot press and use custom buttons (they are useful to enable special features on my DVR. This prevent me from giving 5 stars anbuying the no ads version since I am obliged to maintain Slingplayer for phone that supports custom buttons.
Does ok when it isn't crashing all the time...constant freezing and just quits. Constantly have to" force stop". I get you need ads to pay the bills.... but can you change it up? I've seriously seen the same ad for the same movie for almost 2 solid months. Mediocre at best Sling.....
