İsmail YK (real name: İsmail Yurtseven), (July 5, 1978; Hamm, Germany), Turkish music artist, musician, songwriter, composer, arranger.

In 2004, he released his first solo album Şappur Şuppur in 2004, along with his solo album Şapppur. The reason why their albums broke sales records was the thesis topic at universities.

He denied that his musical works are connected with a single style with the reason of being "wrong and inadequate" and named with concepts such as Free Turkish Music, Free Studies or YK style.

In 2008, İsmail YK made an ambitious debut with the Bas Gaza Album and became one of the top-three albums of the year. Turkey billboards throughout the week in the top 20 list at the Summit 7 kalmıştır.he M-YAP TV and King both received awards in the digital platform.
