This bank and App started out pretty good but has steadily become a Bank and app with the sorriest service and support around. I will be closing my account and removing this app. My advice is do not open an account with small business bank. Absolutely worse ever. This app will not accept certain checks for mobile deposit. The failure rate for mobile deposit is quite high. They have outsourced their online bill pay with no electronic bill pay....
Im trying to sign up for an account but they wont allow signups through their website and the app aways says 'cannot connect.' Support doesn't answer the phone or call me back. I guess i will have to go with another bank. Too bad, but I guess it's for the best because this bank seems very sketchy now.
Was all set up... Just started with QuickBooks then Bam... New system. Unable to connect to QuickBooks and unable to sign into the app. Registered with the new site yet can't get an official bank statement on the site. Customer service has been "interesting". Still waiting for someone to get back to me from customer service... Aggravated!!!!!! Update: Spoken to several customer service. NOT ONE APOLOGY FOR THIS CLEAR INCONVENIENCE. STILL waiting for what I initially asked for.
The app is not allowing me to deposit checks. It will not submit the deposit. This should is an essential feature for a bank app and it is unacceptable that the deposit feature doesn't work. Especially since SBB is mostly an internet bank.
Not an "online bank". you're at the mercy of central time bankers hours. I couldn't get anything done without calling them twice. They hold deposits for 7 business days for all new customers! Nice they don't tell you that in their "non existent" small print. The app is always experiencing maintenance, or trying to get me to log in to someone else's account. Totally just a bank in bfe trying to make it big without a good I.T. department.
App not working...this is vital for those of us that live out of state and cannot deposit into a physical atm. Fix it now or I'm switching banks...your old app consistently worked...go back to that at least. Otherwise lose a 9 year client...
This is kinda scary. The app won't connect at all. Says something about a bad internet connection, and new system requiring online set up from scratch on desktop pc? Is my money safe, are you still in business? Like seriously wt*?
This app is no longer valid as of May 2021. There is a new SBB App. As to why this didn't just update, I can't say. You will have to start from scratch download the new Small Business Bank App and enter from new.
Since new system launched I can't connect to the app, and now have no way to deposit checks into my account. Emailing customer service over a week ago has yielded no response.
App cannot connect error for weeks now. Always crashed while taking pictures of checks. No access to my funds. You are an online bank, you had one job! Stay online! I'm dropping this garbage bank.
The website is always in some kind of service or maintence. I have to uninstall and install already twice. I normally no the type to give bad rewiew. But this is crazy. Please fix this appp!
Everyone using this app, there's no support for it anymore, you can find the new app listed by the same developer. Insane there was no notice.
App does not work. My account is very small but I have genuinely never had this many problems with any other bank. Closing my account today.
Have my Business accounts here, very pleased.. They dont have all the "fancy features " if a big bank, but they dont have all of the service charges as a big bank either... on the rare occasion I need to call them... they know me!
3.1.80 unable to connect. Why are there two apps for SBB? The other app is the one to use now since they "upgraded" their systems.
Same as other users, I have not been able to get my balance or statement for going on 3 months. And I got a lot of lip when I called for support.
New updated app won't work even after reinstalling. This is a significant problem now.
I contacted the SBB and apparently they have a new app 'Small Business Bank mobile', they just didn't tell anyone 😂

Horrible app. It no longer works. Can't login at all.
Why would you not tell your users before making a major change to login or the app not working? Constant issues.
Can't "connect" even though the connection works for 100 other apps.
New Customer to SBB and really like the app, Its simply easy to use. Perfect, it's all you need.
Good app, just have trouble with the camera and minor bugs with mobile deposit.
Can't get check deposit to work. keeps crashing the app
Latest version 3.1.72 is badly broken. I can't even login, I get no prompt for password after I enter my ID. I logged in once and couldn't mobile deposit, trouble reaching sever. The version before this had issues too, but at least you could restart the app after every single mobile deposit to get around it. I get that it's free checking, but you get what you pay for, nothing... I'm switching banks. I won't mail checks to Kansas for deposit!
