Small Icons Widget
A 1x1 widget that allows you to add four small launch-icons to it.Only the applications icons are shown, so if two applications have the same icon you wont know which one goes to which.
There seems to be confusion of what a widget is!To add it to your home screen you (usually) long press your home screen, select widget from the menu that pops up, and then select "Small Icons".

Multicon did this first and is still better (also has more options). I don't really see the point of using this over that.
This is an amazing app to manage your screen icons and pack them into a compact pack of four. For me it has become a necessity.
Well designed and no more trying to figure out which folder that app is in.
Makes my huge S3 screen more useful. Using 4 widgets on the home screen with no issues. All 16 apps open without problems. UPDATE: Works flawlessly on my Galaxy Note 4. UPDATE: Works flawlessly on my Galaxy Note 5.
Changed my phone to OPPO r7 more but I guess you guys don't cater to it. I can't have more than 1 widget. Pls help.
It's a must have widget if you don't want a lot of icons covering your wallpaper. Thank you for this.
Very useful but it won't let me use them anymore. I try to place it and it just never shows up. Just recently started doing this. I'm on Samsung galaxy s4
I like it for most part. Very easy, intuitive and user-friendly. It's certainly organized my apps a lot better. But wish it was possible to choose 2 or 3 apps, instead of the default 4.
I like the app in general, but changing a widget is not possible and that's a total no-go! Would be so easy just to add an actual app to change it...

Please add an option to change icons. I hate using default icons.
Needs different sizes of widgets with the option of landscape & portrait shapes. Also need to be able to leave part of a widget blank & change apps on it.

Android 5.1.1 can't run this. Please update and fix. This app is wonderful. It would be a shame if it wasn't fixed

I changed fonts I changed icons I changed loading but finally small widgets is what has worked, great product! :-)
If you could add different size that would be awsome. Like a 1x4, 1x3, and etc
I love this widget.. But is there away to change one of the four without having to create a whole new one? If not it would be even better if you made it so.
Wonder, though, why some app icons turn fuzzy. They start off clear at first, but turn fuzzy later and won't change back to being clear, even after reboot.
Paasi, I love this widget. BUT. I seem unable to use it as it tells me I have reached the maximum. I have deleted some of the icons, and now have them full size. What can I do about this?
There are more icons to add! I can't place the new Amazon Underground apps into the small icons format. Other than that, again, much love, great little widget.
Does what it says . Would be superb if you could customise number of icons eg 3x3 4x4 etc also a quick feature to edit the programs selected after the four icons have been selected would be ideal

Works great on Nexus 6 with multiple small icon widgets. And no intrusive permissions. Thanks to the programmer!
Very cool app. Wish it supported icon sets.
I was looking for something that would allow me to line up 8 small often used icons at the bottom of the main screen. This worked perfectly. Many Kudos to the developer!!!!
It occasionally disappears
I used to use More Icons Widget. Unfortunately, it seems to no longer be supported, and there is a bug on my Note 5, some icons don't show up (i.e. Clock and Gallery) and it never worked with my Galaxy Tab 2. Found this... while it isn't as comprehensive as More Icons Widget is, and setting up/editing widgets is, I guess you could call it Mac-like, so not as intuitive for me as MIW (yeah, I'm not I find Macs hard to use); So far I haven't found any bugs and it appears to work great. For now, I'll run both widgets, to retain the flexibility, but I may switch over to this someday since I don't use the other stuff at the moment that Small Icons doesn't have and it seems to be still supported. Donation likely coming...
