Fantastic game! It reminds me of the quality games from back in the early 2000s. The gameplay is easy and fun, but still challenging enough so as not to be make you bored. I really liked all the different civs that you need to battle and need to battle as, each one has it's own perks and they seem to even each other out well enough. Offline all the way, there are no ads and the few times they ask you to buy the game is not annoying. One of the beat games I have recently played on mobile.

The low ratings might make you believe that the game is difficult and rigged, but all campaign levels are definitely clearable. I only struggled with one mission towards the end, but a change in strategy got me through. Although the game is, by no means, bad, it leaves something more to be desired for. Hopefully the developer(s) introduce more variety later on, as the game right now just feels a bit too short and repetitive.

A very decent game. Simple TB strategy with a bit of depth. I played the free version and have got plenty of game time out of it without the need to upgrade. I actually found it a bit frustrating at first as things would happen that I didn't expect. How is the threat level calculated? Do units capturing stuff do the same return damage? How often will units on the opponent's entry row take damage? And I still find some matchups a bit one-sided. Playing humans vs Monsters on city capture is rough.

A fun, surprisingly deep little strategy game that delivers on its premise of short battles. I've finished the 'campaign' which does a great job of providing various challenges and diverse missions. The only let down are the graphics, which are okay but not entirely to my personal tastes - they illustrate the different units clearly but are a little amateurish and cartoony to me.

I rounded up. Some of the scenarios seemed impossible, but they are partially random so it cuts both ways. Id like to see them expand the battlfield. ..keep i the saMe scale but allow the viewing window to scroll. Never used the enhancement much. in general a pleasant, reliable game. The ads were more interesting than others ive seen- higher caliber and not annoying.

This game does what it does very smoothly and simply. It's quite addictive in that way, and doesn't present any annoying obstacles like action timers or full screen ads. Early on, against the AI I found the game to be too easy, but still a nice little diversion, and I could see how vs a human it would be a wonderful challenge. In later advancement the AI gains "unfair" advantages to make up for flawed strategies, so the gameplay becomes a very fun puzzle to solve! Soon I'll try online play.

This game is fun, simple but fun, unfortunately a bit later in the missions it's too much rng to bare it turns into an exercise of luck rather then strategy and that takes all the fun in it, sorry but after realizing that (with more than 20 games trying to overcome the rgn and the massive over provision of the enemies) I can't bare anymore. Going to try the 2nd one.

Not exactly 5* perfection but worth supporting. Simple and fun tactics. Elegant design in spite of random damage as the latter doesn't stop the game from being enjoyable and keeps higher-level units power creep under control. I'm sure a better artist could've been found in the neighborhood but the doodles are kind of charming. Hopefully the sequel will have multiplayer and a map editor wink wink! Bought, keep it up. EDIT: oh, the sequel is already out, looks like the exact same game womp womp.

This could (should!) be a great little offline turn based strategy game, its got eveything going for it, even the music is great, but the unbalanced AI ruins it. It's worth a look, but after an hour you'll see the problem. (NB: After response from developer Ive' downloaded it again, will give it a 2nd look...)

Excellent offline turn-based strategy game. I was happy to support the devs, and doing so removes ads and unlocks premium features (reasonable price). As some have noted there is randomness that can result in impossible scenarios, but just keep trying and the randomness will go your way (been true for me so far).

Finished the campaign without using any superpowers. It is possible it could have been easier if I used them. In my opinion this is a true free to play game. Other apps make the game almost impossible at some point, or require intense grind for free to play. This isn't one of those, hence the five stars even with the simple gameplay.

A 4 star even though i don't like the game. Maybe there is a rule that i somehow forgot, but sometimes my soldiers lose health even without being attacked, sometimes they upgrade mysteriously. All in all random things keep hapening so i simply can't play it. Update: so there really is a rule that is not shown. Like you said, you should add that. However i still won't give this game another chance. I don't like too much RNG in a strategy game.

interesting idea, I want to like it. The enemy doesn't appear to have any restrictions on summoning more units, just popping in new soldiers as needed. Player, on the other hand is severely limited in creating new forces. Not sure how I'm supposed to win under these conditions. Great tech demo guys, get back to me when it's a game.

A great turn-based strategy game! No ads or in-app purchases, the game play is solid, and each match lasts a few minutes at most. I would love to see more options between matches, more races, and a overland map or mission representation of some sort.

While the concept itself is good, possibly even great, there are 3 main factors, which ruin it 1. Damage is RnG-based - do I even have to explain why this is an awful idea? 2. Population game-mode is inherently flawed - you have to capture cities at the enemy spawn (which has spawn protection, plus see point 3. ) and wait for more cities to spawn. 3. In the late levels the enemy dumps hordes of level 2-3 enemies onto the battlefield, where even your top tier units cannot kill them fast enough

Love the simplicity! Absolutely love that it's free with no ads. You can pay £2 for the full version, but there's no pressure. I'll probably end up buying it for that reason alone; love when developers don't ruin the game with over the top monetisation!

I randomly downloaded this to play on a flight, and its really good. If you like Advance Wars, you'll like this, although it isn't an AW knock off. There is some option to buy a premium version, but it's pretty honest, it just asks you once in a while, no sneaky weird stuff, and the free version of the game stands on its own. Good job to the devs!

Its perfect, i play alot of strategy games and this is a top 5 all times(on phone). This is a must have for all who like this kind of game, good graphics, easy to get into. Only thing i can think of to lift it is a story behind the battles, so it basicly perfect as is. Thanks devs <3

Quite addictive for an offline game, it reminds me of tactical games in handheld Nintendo. Since it does not offer any storyline, I have no motivation until unlocking the final race. But I really appreciate the concept and how small the size is with a good quality :)

Interesting game play. Fun concept. Zero ads. At all. Not two ads per game played. No "watch a short ad to try again". No features locked behind pay wall, but you CAN pay to unlock things that you would need to advance further to unlock. Worth the $2 to thank a great developer for a fun game.

Rog. D. Aug 6, 2019

Deceptively complex, seems so simple at the beginning. There are a number of layers of strategy though, and I haven't even unlocked all the races yet. Pay the $1 for no ads and make your life easier :)

Jua. C. Feb 25, 2020

It was funny, at first. Then I found levels where enemies keep coming in numbers, high rank (3 or 4), but I still need 2 basic units to create a rank 2, 2 of them to create a rank 3, and so on, so is a bit dissapointing

Par. H. Feb 22, 2020

Many factions to choose from, each with unique strategies and bonuses. Several objectives and challenges to choose from. Comcast starts very simple, but later levels are a considerable challenge. Powerups keep the field interesting. Unique unit leveling system keeps things interesting. Excellent game, 5/5

Jos. J. Jan 21, 2020

Really fun little game. Very simple concept, but very tactical. The different units and races with their varying abilities add depth and challenge. Matches are quick and you can even play offline if you need to.

bob. d. May 3, 2020

VERY pushy about asking for a rating, RNG can screw you over WAY hard in map layout and damages. Some faction TOO out of balance compared to others. Good game for the most part, later stages a bit overhard and than RNG variences make for impossible scenarios. Patience needed for a million retries. Needs more campain. Finished game in one day. Uninstalled

Great game! Not too repetitive. Hard enough to start a board over now and again, which feels good when you win. Ads every once in a while, but much less than other free games.

dav. c. Jul 10, 2020

I liked the game. Then I got to cosmo vs monsters on hard, tried multiple tactics with different bonuses. Monsters started droppin 2-3 lvl 3 mobs and then its quickly game over. dunno how to stop so many spawning or even if I can..fun while it lasted. Thx. Edit. Already tried what you have suggested. It is a city lvl and I keep gettin over run by mobs. One battle has been goin for over an hour. Screw that..yeah I figured it out.wait until there enough cities then claim them all

I am still playing it and I can say I get what I want. Light and simple play, check Turn - based game, check Ads not annoying at all for me. Can get rid the ads by clicking only, very simple. No need to watch any ads. I have to admit up until this moment the game is pretty easy for me but I still enjoy this free game

Sam. D. Apr 27, 2020

Graphics are nice. Gameplay is engaging. Fast games are good for a short break. Meta progression is fun, but could be deeper. My only complaints are that the games are a tiny bit too short. Perhaps having three map sizes would make games last the duration that you have time for.
