User experience is quite poor for a global company like Samsung. I'm surprised they have not integrated all 'smart' controllers with smart things. This is the only app that supports my mim-h02 controller and while it does work, the operation is clumsy having to wait a few seconds every time you send a command. No integration with home assistant is the biggest flaw in my opinion.
This app is slowly getting worse and I'm scared to update now as each time it get less usable (iOS app equivalent fails to work at all since Feb). I've had a support call in since August with no feedback beyond a canned "try rebooting your router". I've resorted to calling them once a month trying to get an job status update to no avail. Support is just woeful. Samsung, you really need to fix this!
Bugs when using time functions

This app is mostly OK, but one draw back is it uses broadcast packets to discover the a/c everytime it runs, so it doesn't work via a typical VPN. Also, that can causes updates to Android (ie restricting broadcast packets) to occasionally break the app.
Used to work fine but now the timer function stopped working. Sent multiple requests to fix it with no response. Does not give me much confidence in using future Samsung products if they don't support products that are only a few years old. Will be buying a Daykin if the issue isn't fixed
Avoid. I spent an extra 200 on the smart model mini split AC and it won't connect to this app. The GUI looks like it was ported from WinCE. The AC unit won't even connect to Samsung smart things.. Zero smart here
why after using this App, always hang and can not be used. We should do restart the phone before using again. Why can't we do any more timer setting for ON or OFF by using this App ? Could you update this App, please ? So that, we can use again timer function. Now..I can not use In Home mode but only Out of Home mode only
App does not work without access to contacts. Why does this app need access to your calls and contacts? Unnecessary privacy breach. Useless app so far. Let me know when it improves.
The timer function is crashing as soon as you click but on & off still work fine. PLEASE fix this issue ASAP.
What does it need contact and calling permission for? I'm only trying to control the damn AC, I don't need to announce that to my contacts.
The app asks for permission to all contacts and to make phone calls, which makes no sense, and it's not possible to use it without access. Terrible.
With latest Android 10 this is the only version available but is not compatible with 5 year old aircons the other app which is the NON cac version worked perfectly with my Android 8. Samsung help useless.
Suspiciously high level of access required to even turn it on, this accesd has nothing to do with air conditioners.
Why need access for contacts?? Who the hell give rights and what is the purpose?? Are you providing access to smart wifi or taking details for user data base??? Its ridiculously nonsense!!! Pls don't force user to provide you data or i can't use this apps. Can anyone let me use it without providing my contact details?????????????
My favourite app. That is until I got a new samsung phone and it's mot compatible. No update for a year and a half. Very poor effort samsung
Applications crashes every time you go to timer.. No reliable.. Is there any other smart thing that can control dampers motors as well Does any one from Samsung care about their customers?? Fix the dam thing
App was fine until last upgrade. Now crashes everytime when using timer function. Not happy.
Timer function no longer works, and disconnects are common. No response from Samsung on this app, poor customer service
Such a rubbish for company like Samsung. Doesnt work at all on Samsung phones, had to use cheap tablet to update AP, but still not able to controll AC anymore.
I've got to enter username, password and do a captcha code each time I want to change the air con settings. Please just let me stay signed in!
Timer function crashes the app.. have set timer previously and not able to remove it now.

This does not work at all. I could not connect my Samsung Air Conditioner to it, no matter what! Why does this exist then?? I just connected it to SmartThings instead. Either make a perfect app for each household device, either make SmartThings work perfectly with everything!! 'Cause the way it is now, everything is cr-app... This app doesn't work at all, and SmartThings is full of bugs, and has connectivity issues. smh 👎🏻💩
