Smart Alarm Clock

I really recommend this app. It's easy and I like how many options there are like selecting how you turn off your alarm and everything. However, I only gave it four stars because about every week the alarm doesn't go off, or rather when I try to test the alarm it goes off, but I don't hear any sound. Changing the music doesnt help too. When I reinstall it, it works however. Is this a issue with my phone or with the app? If it's because of the app, please fix it! Otherwise it's really good :)

The ads are annoying. The app itself isn't bad, but there's no way to test out a certain puzzle or wake up method before choosing it. Also, honestly, this alarm hasn't helped me wake up any better than the one that came with my phone. 3 stars for the good interface, doing as promised, and being free. But I would like to see improvements for convenience and efficiency.

It works! I'm shocked about how many alarm clock apps don't always work. However, this does. I had to change the math problem to simply holding down the off button for several seconds. I'm glad there were other options rather than the math problem, because I would have either thrown my cell out of the window or uninstalled the app. Haha! Bottom line... it's simple and dependable. That is all I expect from an alarm clock. Thanks!!!

App works as advertised, honestly one of the best and I've tried many. I would really like the devs to take a look at the "gradually increase volume" function which starts at a very high volume and there seems to be no way to alter this. I suggest asking more controls to allow the user to control starting vol, ending vol, and duration. Thank you!

I was trying to find a good alarm that didn't let you immediately snooze. For my favorite setting, the alarm goes off and plays a custom song I chose and then I have to hold down a button for a specific amount of time. You have to engage, but it's not nearly as stressful as a math problem or getting up to scan something. There's the occasion ad when setting an alarm but nothing too excessive. I recommend.

This alarm app actually works. It goes off when it's supposed to, exactly when it's supposed to. I did check to make sure some settings were set in favor of this app. But I have had to do that with every app and with this one I don't have to worry about battery saving features messing with its function one bit. After being at rest all night it goes off right on time! Not around, near or close to but right on time I've been searching for an alarm app for a long time and this is my new go to!

While the app does have ads it's an awesome alarm clock. My old app started to not work and the alarms wouldn't go off. This app is great bc I'm not a morning person and I have the options of solving a math problem or shaking my phone however many times. If you have a hard time waking up and getting moving this is a great App! Keep up the great work.

It's great! Never sleep through your alarm again. I found this app after accidentally turning off my old alarm and missing an early flight. This has many customizable options including a slow fade in (my favorite), lovely melodies, multiple alarms, and different choices for turning the alarm off. You can snooze it with a simple touch of a button though, thankfully. Highly recommend.

I am using this on Xiaomi running Miui 9. The app sometimes doesn't work, meaning the phone is locked and the alarm doesn't turn on when it should. Another problem, is when the alarm does work, it first demands me to unlock the phone before I can disable the alarm, which is very inconvenient. Besides these very critical problem, the app is very smart and useful. Keep up the hard work!

I really like the Smart Alarm Clock App. It offers so much flexibility and haa alarms go off when they are actually set to go off. I had used the stock alarm on Android for many years and after a while it had alarms going off at different times of the morning. Either before or after I had my alarm set to go off. This alarm is the only one out of several I have tried that only goes off at the time it was set for. A+

Issues: Inability to postpone, skip, or dismiss early No timer or stopwatch No way to turn all alarms on/off No widget?? No color/theme choices. This is fine for a very basic alarm app but some of the options I listed are vital to giving you control so alarms don't interrupt you when you need them not to. (e.g. being at a hospital, church, in a meeting, etc etc) Other options are just nice to have but the more options, the more personal the experience and the more control the user has.

Dependable. I've tried a few alarms because my stock Samsung clock has been failing me. This app is easy to use, has multiple alarms and can be set to reoccur so you don't have to remember to turn it on every night. My only issue with this alarm is that the snooze and dismiss buttons are dangerously close to each other.

This app was my go-to for about 3 years, but recently it seems that if I don't immediately wake up to my alarm, it completely overheats my phone in about 20 minutes and is forced to shut down, and it doesn't play the other alarms i set after. Sometimes the alarms play completely silent too, so I still don't wake up. I have about 4 alarms each morning, if I wake up to the last one and have to turn off all the ones after it, I get an ad between. every. alarm. while they're still going off

Great app! Easy to use. There are multiple different alarm tones you can use & different levels of difficulty to turn it off in the morning(which some people have been known to turn off regular alarms in their sleep. Not me of course, but some people ;-) ) And you can adjust the volume of the alarm from within the app, not just by using the volume on you phone; which is great when you have multiple alarms set for the same day

Your endeavor is outstanding, unquestionably. Nevertheless, there is a bit scope of improvement.It would be a five star if you could fix the trouble that when the phone is being shaken as a task completion, the reminder should get turned off for the time being. In case the task remains unaccomplished, the alarm restarts beeping, otherwise it gets turned off.

At last. I can actually choose what I want in my alarm. In other words there are more options. One feature I really miss though is an option to have two different songs (ringtones)to wake up to. A quiet one to start with and then a louder one to actually wake up to. But the option for the alarm ringtone to increase in volume does work as well. Thank you. Awesome. I like that the alarm has a nice colour background instead of just black, a little thing but nice.

It is a basic alarm that unfortunately did not work well for me on my Pixel 2xl. Maybe the app has not been updated for PIE but there were several issues for me. One are the full screen ads with loud sound pop up after changing any settings (not handy if lying in bed) an when the phone wakes up for the alarm there are no dismiss or snooze selections showing. Just my wallpaper. Others are not reporting the same issues so it may be related to PIE. I would prefer it had a night time clock as well.

Great app overall - really helps me get out of bed :) A few ideas: I use the scan QR code feature, but it would also be mega cool if you could turn on a thing so you have to scan a specific QR code. The app would know whick one when you scan it while setting up the alarm. Also: after scanning the code, sometimes the alarm sound continues, just extremely silently, almost inaudibly. Turning the alarm on and off fixes this. Something you might want to look into :)

Great app and does exactly what ya need. The smart alarm function works well. bit strange samsung removed it. Only problem is an ad literally pops up everytime you edit an alarm. I don't mind ads (everyones gotta make a living) but just not as many would be nice. In saying that you are not forced to watch any videos, you can exit the ads inmediately.

I like this app because it plays the alarm on both earphones and phone speakers. So even if I fall asleep with my earphones on or I remove it in my sleep, it still wakes me up. The thing I don't like about this app is that you can't skip the next alarm. You have to switch it off. So if it's a recurring alarm, it won't play again until you switch it back on.

Great so far, with one recent exception. Randomly, on nights throughout the week, I have to remember to open the software, or it won't go off the next morning. When I open it, it suddenly shows in the notification area that it's set for tomorrow...then I know it will be working the next morning. What do you think will fix that? Clear app cache, uninstall, reboot and reinstall the app?

Very good and intuitive but I really DON'T need to have the alarm icon placed the WHOLE time on the top LEFT of my phone's screen, where all the new notifications are placed. It could either be on the top right, or not there at all. worst case, just give me the option to decide for myself

It was really easy to turn the alarm off all the way without doing the math. Snooze then go turn off /disable the alarm. Not what I need on days I'm extra tired. It was also set for gradual sound increase and went straight to loud which is the most annoying thing in the AM and makes me less willing to get up. I happened to already of woken on my own before this first test alarm. Fyi, the easiest math setting might be too hard for some people when first waking up.

Sometimes the alarms only vibrate and make no sound, not always, but just enough to be unreliable. Also, I hate that it automatically sets new alarms to require solving a math problem. The default disable should be normal so you can volunteer for that panicked wake-up. Giving it three stars because at least when the alarms work they do have the option to get *really* loud, which is what I need.

5/19/2020 Still my preferred alarm clock app. No complaints. The only thing suggestion is to have the default "Alarm Off" setting as "normal". Mine defaults to "Math Problem" which is mildly annoying if i forget to change it when creating a new alarm. Morning math not great. :-| 8/2019 So far so good. i installed this app after the alarm stopped sounding on my Alarm Clock Plus App. This is nice and loud, i can set different songs from my music library as alarms and is pretty straightforward.

I didn't like the alarm clock app that came with my new phone, and after testing others, I ended up with this one. I really like the shut off options available when you wake up (the press/hold one is my fave) and the customization available. EDIT: My original review had a suggestion (to display the time when the alarm was actively going off) and the developer actually responded to my review and ADDED THE FEATURE! Amazing app, amazing team behind it. Highly recommend.
