Was 5 stars. Since getting a new phone, alarm will not go off (made me late for work) because it keeps saying something about prioritizing notification, which I've done and still nothing. Used this alarm for years but now it's worthless. Uninstalling.
The variety of ways it wakes me up is perfect. I especially use the math one.
Best alarm app as I've tried loads of them. But please put advertising banners at the top of screen, + 1 *. Updated app and now the icon has changed.so after 3 -4yrs now. I don't recognize it.
Disappointed. I have been using this app for YEARS but now when it goes off it automatically turns on my "do not disturb" feature causing me to miss important calls and messages. It took me over a month to figure out what on earth was going on. I thought my phone was broken, but alas, it is a strange bug in this app. Let's hope it's fixed soon. Until then, I need to find another better one. (Google Pixel 3xl)
Having issues with my LG V30 - when I set different sounds for my alarm they either default to the standard Verizon ringtone or don't work at all and the alarm is completely silent. When I test it says the file must be stored locally on the phone which it is. I've used this app for several years and have loved it but it's currently barely usable since it's helpful to me to set different tones and I am unable to do so. Hope this can be fixed.
I've used this alarm for a few years now and loved it. However, the last few weeks it will not go off in the mornings even if I have multiple setback to back. I have tested the alarm by setting it a minute away and it works but for whatever reason it will not when it actually matters and I have been forced to use the alarm that comes on my phone. There is no way I can justify giving more than 1 star to an alarm that will not go off.
This alarm used to be the best until recently, now alarms won't go off (somehow the alarm turns off during the night). I thought it had something to do do with my phones "Do not disturb" feature but when I set it to turn off before the alarm went off and it still doesn't work something else is going on. Tried other various steps to fix to no avail.
this app is extremely unreliable. I used to love it for the snooze options and all the different settings but in the last 6 months or so it has gotten to very buggy. I will set an alarm and it will never go off. I'll have it on my notifications bar when I go to sleep and it will never go off in the morning. I wake up and it's no longer on mu notification bar but when I click into the app all the settings are correct, it just crashes... a lot. I have to set a back up alarm for when this one fails
Have had this app for years and like that it's still very useful and that it allows you to download as many songs as you like for the alarm
Used this app for many years and it never failed me on my old Samsung S7. Recently I changed my phone to a new Xiaomi K20 Pro, the app installed no problem, configured my alarms no problem but the app just won't wake up the phone when it reaches an alarm trigger. So disappointed as this was my go to alarm app. Hope they fix it for this phone and I can use it again. Until then.... Gutted. Edit - android 9.

I have loved this app. I don't ever have to remember to turn on my alarm after school breaks. I just have set when school breaks are and voila! Ihave it 4 stars because after my last system update on my Samsung Note 10 last week, the alarm screen hasn't been showing on my phone screen. Fix that and I will change it to 5 stars.
I've used this app as my primary alarm for a few years now, and until recently, it has worked perfectly. However, for the last 4 weeks, it has picked a morning each week to not work at all. This morning, the alarm did not ring and I was late for work. If there's a bug, please fix it. If it happens again I'll have to use another alarm. I am uninstalling and reinstalling for now, but if this doesn't cure the problem, I'm out.
Very reliable. I like the different options for sounds for the alarm. I like all the options available including the ability to keep silent mode on the phone while having the alarm ring, the fade in, the ability to change sounds with each snooze sound and more.
I have used this app for several years and, as long as my ringtone volume is on, it works almost perfectly. I have been getting lots of battery notifications that it is using much of my battery power. Like 39%. That seems like a lot.
Absolutely exactly what I wanted in my alarm app...from the ability to play random songs from a specific artist or album for each snooze to the ability to have a snooze of a time frame as small as 1 minute to the ability to enter a number to stop. Perfect 5 stars!!!
VERY broken now and zero support! Look at "recent" ratings, NO response from app author. Abandoned?? Why would anyone even think of purchasing their no ad version when this one is this badly neglected? After 9 months of having to reset settings & alarms, being woke up in the middle of the night for a false alarm that REFUSES to stop ringing and having to restart my phone, reinstall this pos app which now refuses new tones.... I'M UNINSTALLING.
Also having a problem with recent update. I have it set to play alarms even when phone is on silent, which is all the time. It turns off do not disturb and turns phone volume back on. I'm going to have to switch to another product.
Works well. Used this alarm for 4 years or so and have NEVER had a single time where the alarm does not go off. I have my own music fade in and whilst I used to snooze, I turn it off now and get up. Just me, I wake better that way. I do not know what everyone is complaining about.
Love it. Needs a sleep to music timer
I have been using the free version of this app for about 4ish years, and have LOVED it...until sleep me discovered the ability to disable alarm without math. On my Galaxy Note 6, if I tap the "Overview" button [3 bars, bottom left, shows running apps) and close Smart Alarm (this app), it will turn the alarm off and let me disable the alarm without doing math. If this was fixed somehow, EASY 5 stars. But sleep me is too good at finding ways to sleep more :(
I have used this very comprehensive app for years with no problems until last week when Google updated Android 9+ on Pixel XL. Now the alarm fails to go off in the morning. When I check the phone I discover it has reset itself overnight and is waiting for my code to restart. I'm guessing this is a Google problem because everytime they update some apps fail. Please Fix! (FYI: Don't buy a Pixel or you will become a victim of their painful experimentation with their users via premature updates.)
The alarms seem to have a mind of their own and decide when they do and don't go off. And more often than not they choose to not go off despite me double and sometimes even triple checking the settings to make sure they're at the right volume, the right days, and right times.
Best alarm clock if all time!! Even if your phone is on vibrate or silent mode, it activates the selected ringtone as loud as you set it. Used across 3 phones over the last 4-5 years!
I would give this alarm app 5 stars as I've been using it for years and it does what it says on the pack. Only criticism is that I can't set the alarm every other week as I work mornings one week and lates the other. I'd prefer something that I could set once through so it kicks in every other week. I don't suppose I could do this with your paid version?
This was a 5 star app for me. Worked reliably for years on different devices, versions of Android. inexplicably stopped alarming 3 weeks ago, cannot restore it's functionality. 😕
Update. The latest version has restored functionality. Thanks so much. I was just about to delete it. On 24.4.22 I wrote - Very useful app until this month. Have used it for years. Now not going off, not accessing my SD card, reinstalled several times but can't get it to function reliably. Very sad will have to discard.
