Smart Battery Saver

Smart Baterry Saver is the best for me. Since i was using samsung note 4 then note edge till now LG G6, this the best battery saver. I've other app but useless for my device.

A while back I was using power tuneup and loved the power of the power saver, but then ccleaner for android came out so went to that and use Motorola's built in battery saver want to effective so been trying lots but eventually came back to you guys about the best app I've ever used keep it up :)

This app needs a fast charge feature to automatically stop apps when you ain't use them and your phone is charging. I also think it's should hibernate apps when the screen goes off and it should also stop apps on a specified interval. Like every 3 minutes, it would be better if you could force stop those apps automatically every 3 minutes.

You cant save battery while using the phone , i tried evrey app and doesn't work but you can save battery when screen is off becouse most people lose their battery when screen is off , so the best way to save battery is by stamina mode on xperia phones , and this app works like stamina mode, but there is only thing is missing wich is the option to disable wifi when there is no connection like the doze for battery life app

I have been using this for almost 3 days on my N5 and could feel the difference...the only challenge is that the percentage displayed in the notification bar is not accurate and is not getting updated on a real time basis...every time I need to open the app to get this number updated. Not sure if I'm the only one facing this...

This nifty app offers pretty much the perfect balance of features and useability, it does what it does very well and looks good too. The only thing I've noticed is that Wi-Fi doesn't automatically shut off after a while when it can't find a connection, get that working and this becomes the hands-down defacto battery saving app!

I am now running a Nexus 5 with KitKat 4.4.2. My phone routinely consumes around 3-5% of battery power per hour depending on my usage. As an example, I pulled it off the charger five hours ago and have 87% battery remaining. I am using the smart optimization profile and have modified it to turn all data connections off when the screen goes off, sync every 30 minutes for one minute, turn off the screen after 15 seconds of inactivity and have the screen brightness at about 20%. I also turned off auto-sync and push notifications. This is working much better for me than GreenPower free, DU battery saver, DS battery saver, Battery doctor, Easy battery saver, JuiceDefender and Snapdragon battery saver, all on the same hardware and software. UPDATED: After three days of using the app, the Nexus 5 is now consuming about 40% of power over a 24 hour period with light use. I have also enabled the night mode to come on automatically from 2200 to 0500.

This app has not worked out for my wifi only 5.1 tablet. It saves battery by turning off the screen while I'm playing my games. The game is still running but the screen goes black. After uninstalling, you must go to settings to reset the screen; otherwise, it keeps going off. It may be a good battery saver if you don't play games.

Just installed on my Nexus 5. It really has stretched out my devices battery life. As I type at 5.17pm, my device has been 'awake' since 7 am and its still rocking at 62% battery. It would normally be connected to the charger by now. Thanks, this is just what I needed!

Works great, some optimizations and features make it the best in class! Definitely my choice for saving battery! (!) Of all and every free app I have tested (and I have tested every one app that I could find, even paid/ trial ones) regarding battery saving/ connectivity, synchronization and task killing scheduler, Smart Battery Saver is the most complete and beautifully designed, yet simply to use. I congratulate you, BitDefender for this, keep up the good work!

Delivers what the other apps only promise, for free! Absolutely recommend! The best one out there! But a little material redesign would be very welcome. Also the app's background process footprint should be reduced further. Additionally, smart sounds need a little tinkering! Overall: the best battery saver. Recommended.

This was the first time I used a BitDefeder Product. Few Suggestions I would Like to explain: Add option of 'Recommended SIM' for data. I lost my 30 bucks as this app switched to first SIM which didn't have internet subscription. Also, add blacklist for apps: some non useful apps start on startup & drain battery as well as RAM & internet Data for cache (For eg: YouTube). I checked out BitDefender Tune-up app but it wasn't what I needed, I need something that only manages my phone for best battery performanc

Had tried many popular apps of similar kind, but by far this is the BEST among the rest. Highly customizeable, esp. Like the fact that it enable us to turn off all network activities and close I would like it to improve: 1. Pls allow us to manually add apps that we would to close either in the background or when screen off. 2. Add schedule options so we could have it switch to preferred profile at specific time. For eg., we could have it switch to vibrant mode automatically when we arrive to work / church.

I love this app but the smart Wi-Fi keeps turning my Wi-Fi off and not turning it back on. Also I think the "time left" in the notification area is calculating it wrong because it says I have 11 hours left at 22%. Please fix it.

Firstly thank you BitDefender for letting giving this to us free. I must admit however it's not really easy to use, to find how to create a new profile isn't intuitive. I kept looking under my menu key, then settings, not some weird back looking icon at the top of the screen. Sorry, and it's layout is just strange, I don't know if half the time if my settings are actually taking, like I like the idea of my wifi shutting down when my screen is off... but maybe I'm setting it wrong, but it doesn't seem to work... It maybe my fault I installed it with the USB charger plugged in, unless it's supposed to create a new profile for you when the charger is unpluged when first installed? And how does the Smart Optimisation work with a set profile, does it over write it's settings, so if I click that and change a setting after I've made a profile have I changed something? Sorry I am thankful, but the GUI is the biggest let down, it's over complicated for it's own good.

Nexus 6 Lollipop 5.1 How will I know it is working because when the screen turns off then turn it back on Wi-Fi and Data doesn't look like it turned off at all.

Nice app but there is no option to turnoff haptic feedback and dial pad touch tones which is irriating. I would give more stars of that option is provided.

Hi, I noticed that, in the costum profile menu, tgere is a little bug: when I tap the sound profile button (normal, vibrate, silent) the text below the icon foesn't change. For example when my profile is set to normal and I want to change it on vibrate, the icon changes and so does my profile, but the text remains the same, saying: normal. It's not really bothering me, but I wanted you to know about it. Great app! Thanks for making it ;)!

Definitely gave my battery a boost on Nexus 5. The smart options are able to handle the power saving. Light & fast without any adware ! Been using the Bitdefender products on my PC for a really long time and this software did not disappoint.

im a honest person and this app actually increased my battery life from 8 hrs (playing games,youtube,social media etc) to about 14 hrs almost double. + if im not using my device, battery stays at the same level i left it at for a whole day ✔

better than paid version of du battery saver as auto wifi on off in du battery saver do not works mostly and also do not have auto sync. it is every thing other than auto clear app feature of du battery saver instead it has auto clear app when screen turns off which works almost same., instead it has everything better than du battery saver pro and juice defender ultimate which costs money but this one free. highly recommended app

Data when screen is on,only works when you're on home screen if data goes off when you are runing an app it does not come back and has to be done manually

Confusing, defective. Usurps user and phone functions. Can barely see my screen as I type this bc app has taken over.

simply works without causing any issues to my phone , no annoying pop ups. Thank you for making this app

It works as it's supposed too and extended my battery life by an extra third. Only gripe is that the time remaining stat for the battery life is completely out. If that can be fixed, I would give it 5 stars

When you select Facebook and WhatsApp to close background running app in smart app they get deselected & do not close ..
