Surprised this isn't showing AIS vessels that are on Marine Traffic app. Also everytime map zoomed the Active Captain markers appear even though turned off. Would love to hear from vendor to be sure I'm using it properly.
Motorola RAZR Maxx Connor login even after I have requested a password reset. Same thing on my Nexus 10 tablet. The software is not real intuitive hence my comments above. It could be much,much more. Too bad.
Tried loading it twice but never could get it to load any maps or data. Unusable.
No base map with noaa data loads. No Active capt info loads. Waste of time trying to get it to work.
AIS data stopped working a while ago, but at least I still had Active Captain. Then I got a new phone and now Active Captain doesn't work either... This use to be the best free Active Captain app on Android.
No matter what I provide for a user name I cannot establish an AIS login. The app tells me that my username must be unique. I've tried everything that I can think of to establish this login. It looks interesting, but I can't get it to work.
Ais worked once but now doesn't show, too bad since it's why I loaded it. Good to see anchorage, marinas and bridges. Slow and frustrating..
Will not work, very buggy, go back to the drawing board. Don't waste your time.
No way to view chart layers. After signing in and downloading ac data, I spent a half hour trying to get activecaptian data to show up. No go. Useless.
Follow the directions after printing them. Unable to show on screen. When it does is in Africa. Hellooo Florida here......Junk. Nothing show per directions. Logs in to a blank screen or Africa.
Unable to use on tablet or phone crashes on tablet on start. Demands valid email on phone even when one entered.

Earlier version on earlier phones worked great. This time (on a galaxy 5) I'm experiencing the account lock issues everyone below has. Can't get in to fire it up.
USED THIS APP TO SAIL DOWN THE WEST COAST OF FLORIDA CHECKED IT AGAINST MY PAPER CHARTS AND IT WAS SPOT ON SHOWED MORE DEPTH AND DETAILS. THANKS
This app is worthless. You can't log into it after creating a log in
What on earth has happened. Wont log me in constant server error 503 message appearing all the time.
No matter what email I enter it won't accept it
Can't create log in. Says my email is not valid.
Once you give it up ... Nothing.

Why so inconvenient to get new acct or sign in? No proper explanation! How can one use it easily? Is it for use or not?

Just downloaded this app, but it will not allow me to create a new account, what gives??????? Looks like an excellent app but can't get the programme to work. Running on Galxy II tab
I am an navigator (deck officer) but I can't operate it, how is the procedure? Is there any manual o direction for this app?

I've tried figuring this app out a few times. The options seem to let me chose between satellite, topography, or a generic base map. No idea how to add base map options, no idea how to get any of the active captain info to appear. Frankly, I can't get this thing to do anything other that what Google earth already does only better. There are virtually no hints, FAQ, or tutorials anywhere to be found explaining anything. I think Ill keep my Navigator Plus app and just live without the AIS or active captain
