Total waste of money. On airplane mode, it detected nothing, even when presented to known radioactive material. With airplane mode off, it clearly measures the phones wifi signal as ionizing radiation and gives off ridiculous reads of 50+ sieverts, which is impossible. This product does NOT work as described and its not worth the aluminum used to make the sensor or the hours of code for the useless app. Clearly, mobile radiation sensor tech has a ways to go yet. Do not use. Used on an LG Note 6.
The first thing this software does is ask for pemission to access photos, audio and files. If you say no then it doesn't allow you to continue.
on sony xperia z and z3 is workink fine, giving reasonable temp and hum. on Samsung s9+ is giving ridiculously values of temperature(105°c)and humidity(100%), hope they will come with some app update.
The geiger reading jumps every time there's a sharp loud noise in the room. If I snap my fingers the geiger counter jumps up so I would have to say it doesn't work at all. Waste of money, don't buy their products.
downloaded for the geiger attachment...sampled uranium glass, trinitite, firealarm, and trinium, all with no results. only responds to sounds(attatched to microphone jack). non functioning piece of s***!
I don't use it often, but I bought a geiger counter attachment that works fairly well.
Don't know yet . Our potatoes are not glowing in the dark yet !
The sensor was a load of rubbish reading - 46.8°c in my bedroom.
will this app not work on android 7.1?

I bought the EM, VL, UV, IR, and Geiger detector that attaches to the earphone jack of my phone. It's not cheap, I bought it on aliexpress for around 30 usd each. I was expecting it to work constantly, but then these detectors work like pulses. I mean I cannot tell for sure if the EM and IR are really zero here but the VL definitely I could tell it shouldn't spike from like 300+, 400+ to zero 'cause there's constant light source. So it stops detecting then I wait for it to go back to detecting mode again after a few seconds. I also don't like the fact that it doesn't tell me what the values mean, like the Geiger, or EM, there's no good/bad meter. So I would still have to research before I get the interpretation, which is what I bought it for. It's just not that helpful. It might be that or I just don't know how to use this, but there's no instructions on how the reading works so it's still their fault.
I was before using it to check the radiation of things in my house then a couple months later I try the app again and it crashes when ever I try to open a checker I am on Samsung galaxy j3 mission
Only the radiation detector part works, and not very well. No other part of the app works at all. I'm running an s5.
Offers various plug-ins that can aid one's awareness of temperature, UV, Infrared, Voltage, and even radiation (close range/near objects/Wifi) around you. The Good News would be that the reading is at 0 with WiFi off where I live.
