App does not work, and wants to see your files and location! As soon as you launch the app, it asks for access to your location and your files, including your SD card! There is absolutely no reason why it needs access to either, except to track you, and if you say NO, it will only allow you to exit the app! So it's just Chinese spyware. The iPhone app does not require any permissions, and it actually WORKS. Return your furniture NOW if you don't own an iPhone, before your return window closes.
App generally works. Seems to be missing the controls for the under lights. The UI leaves much to be desired as it looks like it was made by a 10 year old. Pairing and connection is stable and controls are functional. Not sure why this would need access to location. Storage makes sense for presets.
Bought a $4000 couch with all the fancy lights and bluetooth controls. Couple of months ago the app updated and couch would not connect to my android phone. Most of the features wont work without the app. App wont even recognize that there is a bluetooth device available. You guys need to correct this problem and put out a new update. If any of my friends come over with an iphone everything works perfectly on their iphones. Really really frustrating!!!
Works okay but like others I would like to an explanation as to why it needs access to my location and storage to work. Also I find it rather annoying that the lights automatically turn off after 1 hour. I set the lighting in my theater to watch a movie then "poof" halfway through the lights turn off.
I managed to get the app to work, but will not use it until the developer removes requirement for location and storage permissions. Given the extremely basic functionality, there is no need to require that permission.
The app worked well until it was updated. Now the app doesn't see any Bluetooth connection. We are very disappointed. If this does not work soon we will have to return the furniture!
Will you ever allow the ability to set the lighting across multiple seats? I have 4 of them in my media room and it takes a ton of clicks to get all the cup holders activated then it shuts off after an hour. I would prefer to just have a button on the couch.
The app will not connect to the couch and when it does you cannot connect the couch to another phone so that phone will be the only phone able to turn the couch lights on or off. Really disappointed the couches require the app to turn the lights on or off.
It doesn't even connect at all. It won't "find" my couches. Ridiculous waste of money since I can't turn on my couch lighting without it

Brand new furniture delivered one hour ago today, 1/29/2020, and we cant get the app to sync with both sofa and love seat and it does not detect the reading lights. $5,000 in furniture and its 100% useless. What a joke.
Worked great until it was "Okin Refined", now its absolutely useless, now like everyone else I am stuck with furniture that doesn't work, gotta love Chinese Technology
i think everyone here saying theyre going to return the furniture because they cant figure out the app is either too lazy to use the buttons, or too dumb to use technology.

Doesnt work for androids......it worked at first......then in a day I lost the couch and love seat.......then a day later I lost couch as well..........will not allow me to connect to any of the furniture.......apparently iPhones work.......and azure enough the guy in the store when showing the features had a iPhone

Cannot gain access to my love seat. I am constantly deleting and reinstalling the app. Nothing works! I wished we never bought this furniture.
Edit 9/5/18 Hey look another update. Great, now the app doesn't seem to see any Bluetooth device at all. So instead of fixing the problem you seem to have made it worse. Simply put, this app does not work so you just wasted a bunch of money on this new furniture of yours.
App needs a serious update or I will have to return this furniture. I could get a less bell and whistle for a lot less. All the cool things this couch can do are tied to this worthless app ... Update made it worse, now it sees no Bluetooth devices at all...
8/31/18 update. Thank you for the latest update. Now I cannot see any of my furniture or use any of the optuons......do you guys test this stuff before sending updates out. Worst app, and app support ever Just purchased a chair, love seat, and couch.the couch does not show up in the App. The furniture story sent out a tech who have an iPhone, and guess what he can see all three. I spent a lot of money on the set and would really like to be able to use the features without having to buy an iphone. Please get the Android app working!
Doesn't work with my Samsung Note 8. The only way to turn on the light is through the app. It's frustrating that this app can't connect to this couch. If the main reason you like a couch that goes with this app is the light features. I wouldn't go with it, not worth wasting your time with.
This only works on my recliner; doesn't work with my sofa which has more functions that we can't use. Very disappointed that we purchased a sofa and can't use the functions we purchased it for.
The app will not connect to my furniture. Android pushed an update of OS this needs to be resolved.
App works, but as other have mentioned, it's not a great experience. Only one phone can be connected to a item at a time and we sometimes have to turn off Bluetooth before it shows available for another phone. If this limitation is necessary it would be better if it was by seat (could be a hardware limitation.) There are only two preset positions per seat and can't rename them. And lastly, it appears there is an Alexa skill, but it requires some login that I cannot find a way to register.
