Smart Command SSH
With Smart Command SSH it is possible to communicate with:
➡ SSH Server (to start scripts and commands on the server)
➡ TCP Socket (stream socket for low-level communication)
➡ WEB Server (to read and send commands via URL with method GET)
The app was created to simplify the start of services and commands on multiple devices via Android.
It is possible, for example, to control devices such as Raspberry PI, ESP32, ESP8266, Enigma decoder, router, pc, console, and any device that accepts SSH, TCP Socket or WEB server connections.
If the sent command returns an output, it can be displayed in the button, or as a temporary notification, or in a dialog box. Furthermore, it will be possible to interpret the output and display the status with an on/off icon. This function is mainly designed for home automation, so as to make it easy to understand the status of a device.
The sending of the command can be confirmed via a pin or swipe button to avoid accidental sending.
The commands to be executed can be sent in asynchronous mode, so it is possible to send several commands at the same time without waiting for the response of every single command.
Finally you can group the buttons into categories and display them via widget.

It works but just barely. Unfortunately the ssh library being used does not report errors very well. For me password login didn't work even though other clients do work with it. I suspect this is due to certain special characters in my password. As another review pointed out you need to use ssh-keygen -m PEM to get the right keyfile format, but then it finally worked. If you use the wrong format (openssh) you get no error and just a blank output, which is pretty confusing.
Very useful and EXACTLY what i was looking for. The status commant is the most beautiful thing ever. But I cant buy the pro version. I press the "Buy Pro version" button but nothing happens.. Edit: It doesn't seem to be working with the RSA key file... The problem with the buy button still exists
Some nice features and nice and small). Annoyances; URL support is limited to GET. ssh port has to be specified but if omitted a vague error message is displayed. Ssh keys do not appear to be supported. I'm not clear that ssh certs are validated. Lack of documentation (e.g. took me a few minutes to figure out the on/off text search/compare logic). I've no idea how socket support works (e.g. can binary payloads be sent?). Its not clear from description that non-pro version is limited to 3 buttons (and has adverts)
This app works well, although refreshing the status of every button on startup is a bit slow. It would be nice if it could cache the statuses to reduce the perceived latency. There also isn't enough documentation on using SSH key files. After debugging for a while, I found that the app requires the files in PEM format. You can get this in recent versions of openssh by passing -m PEM to ssh-keygen.
Very dissapointed, I bought this app to use with Tasker but it always says error connection when I use Tasker. Even when I try and use the widget for this app it gives me the same error connection and only works if I send the command in the app. Please fix Edit: Dev claims to have fixed but it still does not work. Very dissapointed.
Good idea! Exactly what I was looking for. Still a lot of small bugs and ugly graphics, but this is definitely going into right direction! Fingers crossed:)
This app is Awesome! exactly meet my requirements and the creator is eager and kind to guide you to fully utilize the app. Hands down the app and connection to my windows pc is seamless like its a part of the pc itself, automation done in just a Click!

Pretty COoL. Q. Is TASKER not included and needs to be purchased seperately? Not complaining :) your app is amazingly inexpensive. I just need to know because I would like to have that add-on also. Anyway. GR8T job and thank you. p.s. I am scratching my head about the correct method to get the buttons to toggle ON/OFF in colors. I'll figure it out. Makes it more interesting. Thank you.
