Tried to install it to connect to my uni's wifi but it didn't work.
This is perfect for college where I don't have to constantly log in
App works well but needs updating to remove Meru Networks branding

Terrible. Used to work, but updated to Android 7.1 and it no longer works. The initial hotspot won't allow me to access Google Play Store, and after I sideloaded the app from another device, the app wasn't even detected. Useless, and disappointing. It would be good if it worked, though (as it used to before updating my system).
Half the time I can't even connect at home now , just to use this at work . Good idea, too many bugs though.
Doesn't work on the note 4, freezes when redirected from we portal.
It always shows "I'm connected", and I'm never connected. No way to close season, and restart. Extremely frustrating.
Disconnects and reconnects randomly. Only use it if you absolutely must.
I was told, from IT at work, that if I put MERU on my phone I would automatically connect to works secure WI-FI! Not! I still have to put in my user name and password to get on their secure WI-FI! This needs to be fixed!
Why does an internet connectivity app require me to add a password lock to my phone? Ridiculous and should be totally optional. I will be persuading my university to explore other options and encouraging others to do the same.
Now I can't login to WiFi at work. I see there hasn't been an update in over a year? I get that this app is free but I guess I'll have to look for a new one.

Nexus 5 running 4.4.2. App installs, looks like it should be working, but every time I end up with an authentication problem. Also, requires the user to set a pin/pattern etc to lock their device which is a pain for most people and they simply won't use it.
The application fails to open on Pixel 2 XL with Android 10. Seems very slow to get updates leaving staff without internet.
