If you downloaded the app on a newer model device the app won't work! PLEASE update this app instead of letting it go! It moves so slow on the out dated tablet I have and its very frustrating for the kids. Its a great app! Its educational and gets the kids moving at the same time. But its useless if it won't operate correctly.
Like all other issues, the screen is just black. I have tried different devices, uninstaller and reinstalled, made sure all permissions were enabled. The screen is still black The customer service number provided says that the number is disconnected 😡
If you're getting the black screen, we did too, and here's how I fixed it. You can't use this app on the kids profile, it has to be a regular profile where you can allow permissions. So use your parent profile on the tablet, open the app. If you see black screen, close the app out completely (hit the button to see all apps, swipe that one away). Re-open the app. It will ask you to allow something, click allow, black again. Close it out again. Re-open. Keep doing this until you get through!
The app sometimes takes extremely long to load amd sometimes it wont load. Also, the practice race never ends. If they expect a 3 year old to follow the exact movements of the guy on the game, it's definitely not worth buying. I even tried to complete the practice race and it still wouldnt end. My 3 year old is bored of the bike and she hasnt even had it for a day. All because the practice race wouldnt end so she can play the other games.
Hey FP team! On my Samsung galaxy tab4 on your smart cycle and this app is not loading -- I'm just getting a black screen. My daughter is able to use the STEM blaze and the monster machines app without issue so I'm not sure what is wrong with this one. Hope you can you can update the app because she'd like to use other games and I'd like her to get as much use out of this before she outgrows it. Thanks!
Bought the bike in Feb'18 but the app was unavailable for my account in Play. In Nov'18 it finally appeared (I guess due to new EU regulations), but I was able to install it only on older versions of Android, 5 and 6. For v7+ it is not supported. Also, no other apps except for this one are available for me, bummer. My kid loves the game and we'd really like to try other games for the bike and on newer devices
App works fine and no issues with pairing. my only complaint is that there is no resistance in the pedals. It's hard on my son's knees as anyone who has ever pedaled a bike where the chain has fallen off can testify to. The steering could be a little less sensitive as well considering the age group this is geared towards
My daughter loved this app on her old samsung galaxy tab A, but now it doesn't work at all on her Samsung galaxy Tab S6 Lite. None of the smart cycle apps work any more. I get a black screen on this app and the others just won't connect to the bike. I will change review if this issue is corrected.
issues connecting bluetooth and it staying connected during play. new tablet , new bike. thouhgt it might be the batteries in the bike so we replaced those and still will not keep connection. my kid loves it even thoughnit only works about 1 in 10 times we turn it on. is there a way to return this bike/game??
Horrible... installed app on 2 tablets and a TV, and nothing but a black screen on all of them. The amount of money being charged for this garbage is insane. My daughter is completely disappointed on Christmas morning, thanks.
If I could rate this 0 stars I would. When I download the app it gives me a black screen and doesn't respond. I sent feedback to the app too, hoping this can be fixed because my daughter wants to play this so bad.
Downloaded it four different app twice f with the same result. The apps automatically shut down upon launching. I am very disappointed and so are my kiddos.
My daughter and I were in the kitchen when we suddenly heard music. My daughter went in the room where my 3yo granddaughter had already turned on the game and was riding the bike, My daughter asked if I had connected it for her. I said no. She did it herself. No joke and she loves it.
Black screen whilst loading the app , similar to most of the other comments, the app is non functional and all you're given is a US contact number which isn't helpful to UK residents
Agree with other posters. Downloaded the Android version on two different tablets and nothing but a black screen. At this point useless.
Works great for me. Tried on our only tablet, Samsung Galaxy we bought years ago and its great. Connected easy very easy to set up. Now my 5 year old loves it! Highly recommend
if you are reading this it maybe too late you already bought and put together this horrid bike to findout it does not work. it shows a child playing on the tv on the box but it needs tablet and a new one at that. A ridiculous amount of requirements for the app. and for the money it cost it should have come with a tablet. who is lettin there less than 5yr old play with a brand new tablet. they have no class bc they did not include batteries to this aweful toy. Done with fisher price anything.
Love the app itself but has terrible time connecting and staying connected have to force close abd constantly restart the app and it might connect ,tbh turned out to be a nightmare to even use and my son loves it
Paid $125 for this smart cycle and my children can't even use the app because it's just a black screen and has been for months!!! Waste of money ! Would give 0 stars if I could!
This app is AMAZING for me it doesn't show a black screen I think some people things are not working AND the app was FREE all you have to do is just Connect to the bike! ✨😄 5 Stars!!

Won't launch i bought the smart cycle for Christmas and the app doesn't even work.... Really??? Huge waste of money! I honestly don't know why fisher price has their name on such junk.
Won't connect to any of our tablets and the app keeps crashing if it even loads at all, got this bike and app for my son's 5th birthday and we are very disappointed
Just getting a black screen on my Samsung tablet... can we get an update so we can use newer tablets? This is a really great idea for the kids
Received this as a gift to my son. We have tried installing the app on a few different devices, but the app only will ever show a black screen (even after enabling all features that popped up). It would seem that the app, and by extension this toy, are unfortunately a waste if it cannot be fixed. Update: I appreciate the company responding to my original post, but it was ultimately not very helpful. As I mentioned in my original post, we have tried the app on multiple devices including tablets.
