Smart Evaluation
Smart Evaluation app provides users with the capability to update the firmware on their SmartDrive and PushTracker. As well as various training and educational material. The following outlines some of the features for different users.
Providing Dealers/Reps:
- Informative and standardized training and education on the operation of the SmartDrive MX2+ PushTracker
- Ability to register SmartDrive demo units with the app. Registered demo units allow the Dealer / Rep to:
> Keep track of where the demo unit is
> Hand off demo units to Clinicians / ATPs who have requested one (and receive the demo unit back)
> Manage firmware versions for each demo unit
- Can also perform evaluations, the same way a Clinician / ATP can
- PushTracker settings controls
- SmartDrive + PushTracker over-the-air (OTA) firmware update capability
- Training and educational videos about the SmartDrive MX2+ PushTracker
- A selection of frequently asked questions (FAQs) related to the SmartDrive MX2+ PushTracker with their answers
Providing Clinicians:
- Informative and standardized training and education on the operation of the SmartDrive MX2+ PushTracker
- Evaluation walk-through with:
> User-focused questionnaires
> User training on use of the SmartDrive
> Trial setup, walk-through, and objective data collection. Data automatically collected from the SmartDrive and the PushTracker include:
* Number of pushes with / without the SmartDrive
* Average speed with / without the SmartDrive
* Distance traveled during the trial
* Time taken for the trial with / without the SmartDrive
> Evaluation report / summary generated and emailed to the Clinician / ATP
- Record of the user's past Evaluations with the ability to browse or search by date
- Ability to request a SmartDrive demo unit from a Dealer / Rep in the area

Great update for Android users. I was in the group of Android users that struggled with intermittent connectivity with the original Pushtracker app, when it came to doing firmware updates. I installed the Smart Evaluation App today and updated my firmware to the latest release as of this post version 1.6 flawlessly with no connection issues. App can also be used to update Smartdrive & PT settings I will continue using the Pushtracker app to track my usage stats, (stabilized 1.6 connection)

This app keeps shutting down and can't pair the push tracker. I was trying this app because the push tracker app no longer let's you change the Smart Drive settings. Both apps are useless. This is very frustrating.
I just downloaded this new app from Permobil. I was a "user" of the old Push Tracker app and was very disappointed. It would never connect to my device and so I was never able to actually use it. This app seems to be better once you work out the systematic process for connecting the Push Tracker wristband to the app on your phone. The directions are not clear on this process so you have to kind of work it our yourself. One thing that is still frustrating is trying to connect the Smart Drive to the app in order to update firmware. I have tried 7x to get the Smart Evaluation app to connect to my Smart Drive and all attempts have failed. I have "rebooted" the Smart Drive as directed by the app (turning it off and on again) each time. I have disconnected the Push Tracker from the app and reconnected. I have reconnected my Push Tracker to the Smart Drive and all attempts to connect and update the Smart Drive firmware have failed. I have not taken it out for a test run to see how well the new firmware and app work when using the Push Tracker and Smart Drive so I will have to update this review after I have taken them out for a spin.
