Smart Gym
You don’t need to be alone anymore while you work-out, because SMART GYM offers competition mode and your friends, who even lives in other country, will join you.
With your personal information (height, weight, age, and etc.), SMART GYM recommends you daily goal. If you have a Facebook account, it can sync with SMART GYM and you can post your award on Facebook.
Also you can check and manage your burned calories in Health app, if you enable “Share Data With Health” on the personal setting.
SMART GYM syncs with SMART ROPE(The LED embedded jump rope) for now and offers the features below.
SMART GYM menu /w SMART ROPE
- BASIC COUNT : Tracking your workout data – view your jump count, calories burned time elapsed, and your progress towards fitness goals.
- INTERVAL TRAINING : Select training sessions with recommended workout and rest intervals, based on your skill level and fitness goals.
- COMPETITION : Stay motivated by competing with your friends, with Daily Champion and Speed Master modes. Requires a Facebook account to select friends.
- AWARDS : Track your progress and earn badges for achieving daily and overall fitness goals. Smart Gym is an easy way to stay focused and maintain regular exercise.
- LEADERBOARD : See how you stack up against the competition, ranking yourself against Smart Gym users around the world as well as your network of friends.
- DEVICE SETTINGS : Monitor and adjust various aspects of Smart Rope, including LED brightness, battery status, firmware upgrades, and Bluetooth pairing.
- SETTINGS : Enter your height, weight, and other personal information to track your calories burned and other fitness data. Access notifications, Facebook access, version information, and terms of use.

****You can use Quick Start and LED Timer function after updating your SMART ROPE firmware ver.13.
Quick start function has been added for Basic Count and Interval Training
- Basic Count will start after five consecutive jumps in any screen except for the Workout screen and Interval Training Guide screen.
- Basic Count will automatically exit once you double tap the rope’s power button in the Basic Count Screen.
- For Interval Training, once you double tap the rope’s power button in the Break Time screen, you can immediately start the next set.
LED Timer function has been added to the Smart Rope.
- During Break Time in the Interval Training mode the Smart Rope’s LEDs will present a gauge to indicate the remainder of your break time.
- During each set the last jump will present the set information (1SET, 2SET, etc..) and will also present a notification phrase (DONE) during the last set using the Smart Rope’s LEDs.

Takes a very long time to start, asks to "allow to make phone calls" and even after granting all permissions it keeps hanging at "start" and never advances. Used to work on an old phone, does not anymore. Guessing completely unmaintained.
Waste of time. It never synched with the rope, never went past the start button. Plus I am also concerned with the amount of acess to my personal data it is asking for. Its a rope skippung app, why does it need access to my pictures and contacts?
Requires way to many permissions for a fitness app such as phone book and call history recods. why the f would a fitness app need that? Also, the app is buggy.
Tried this app as I thought I might have downloaded the wrong app with "smart rope" doesnt get past the get started button. Uninstalled aswell.
Beautiful UI. Google Fit sync is broken. Once that's fixed I'll upgrade this review to 4⭐

Had difficulty to connect to Bluetooth. It said wrong passkey or pin if connecting directly to BT or smart gym haven't seen it. For you guys who have same problems... Don't turn on Bluetooth before start app. First go to app and choose 'connect' then just allow app turn on Bluetooth. That simple. I spent a day on Google and no answer 😅 I liked my smart rope and it's not necessarily to connect Facebook it works without if you like.
App now requires access to call history for no explained reason, and link to privacy policy doesn't work. App is required to make use of the rope, but now I don't trust your app. Won't pair anyway, so basically entirely useless. Constantly sending data even if app hasn't been used in a year, company now appears to exist only to sell personal data. Uninstalled and threw away rope.
I literally have one problem with the app, and it's a big one that caused the app to earn it's one star rating: The permissions. You need to either explain why those permissions are needed, or allow us to disable permissions we aren't comfortable with without disabling app access. For all I know, you could be data mining without me knowing a thing. No thanks. What's even worse is that the app continues to function when certain permissions are disabled while the app is running. Your rope product is great, and the app isn't bad, but fix the permissions then I'll redownload.
Just got the rope today. Downloaded the app, went to use it and then was told I needed to update firmware. When I tried to do that the app crashed and it did that about half a dozen times when it got to 6%. Terrible.
I really want this app to be good! I don't have a Facebook account. Why is that the only form of login? Please update to allow for at least a manual account type. Stop treating Android users like after thoughts. Also there's no confirmation that Google fit is connected.
Awesome! Makes skipping fun! Looks like google fit integration is broken... Is anyone maintaining this app any more? And the answer is No. If you guys aren't maintaining this any more can you open source the app so we can fix things like google fit, make our own interval plans, etc?
App been working fine. Then today won't open. I have tried it on 3 separate devices. Please fix it soon
Will not load past home screen after "start smart gym" button is tapped.
Uninstalled because it wanted assess to my phone to run. When I initially bought the skip rope, this wasn't part of the app.
I got my rope to connect to the app after I fully charged it. I recommend this app for weight loss and to stay active. This app is awesome
love the rope but the app has a lot of issues. interval training keeps crashing. the skips lags between jumping rope and app. wish the app has more levels. Please fix ths app because the rope is amazing the only reason i will not recommend it is because of the app bugs
