As others have stated, although my phone (Galaxy S20 Ultra with latest update) and helmet are connected the app won't recognize the bluetooth connection. One of the reason for purchasing the HJC i90 with the 10B was for the "smart"features included with the app. This app is completely useless. HJC and Sena need to get their acts together and fix an important part of the smart experience for their BT/intercom system.
Terrible. If I had read the reviews prior to buying the 10b headset, I would have never bought it. The app is junk. Won't connect to intercom. Music and phone are the only thing that works. App says Bluetooth connection lost but its connected and works with music. Galaxy s21
Unit connects to phone via bluetooth for music playback and phone calls perfectly but will not recognize the bluetooth connection for the app. Immediately states bluetooth connection lost but it is actually connected. On 3 of my phone's. Iphone xlr, G6, and my brand new onePlus... Extremely disappointed.
Drops connection to unit immediately and states that you need to connect the phone to the unit via the Bluetooth settings....even though the unit & phone are paired quite happily. Can't update the firmware as the PC device doesn't recognise the unit. Why can't manufacturers release software for headsets that ACTUALLY BLOODY WORKS!!
Just bought it. Was excited. 5 hrs charging still not charged. Nothing works-wouldn't pair. For those of you that has it working, how? Haven't given up yet!!!Had to hold down(+and middle button) for 13+ seconds then double lights blue and red started blinking. Have phone and I heart. no menus yet!!! Upgraded to 2 stars.
Literally doesn't work. Won't even acknowledge the headset exists even though it's connected and playing music. Can't use any of the features if it doesn't see the headset so what's the point?
Literally is non functional. It won't connect to my brand new helmet. I tried contacting support but never heard anything back.
Terrible piece of software - same issues as everyone else. Reviews from 6 months ago raised basic functionality issues that still are not fixed. Returning device in favor of Cardo equivalent.
Same problem as everyone else, app does not connect. The equipment is not cheap to purchase and you would at the very least expect some working software. Sadly disappointed with HJC and Sena on this one.
Can't confirm the 1-star reviews, the app works well for me to manage the device. Design is rather outdated but it gets the job done, so that's a minor complaint.
The app loses connection immediately, so it's completely useless. Don't waste your time installing it.
Doesn't work. The phone recognizes the device being connected via bluetooth but the app says connection lost immediately
App Won't even start. Just get the wheel spinning and the phone gets hot... Completely unusable.

great unit but also had trouble pairing blue tooth but after realizing that i was trying to pair on intercom not phone and waiting to hear prompt saying pair phone it has all now paired with helmet and bike unit bmw gs 1250 all now ok i have paired samsung s20 ultra
It never connects to my OnePlus 8 Pro (Android 10). So since I'm unable to use it, it's useless..
App doesn't work but music does play. My freedconn at a third of the price worked better.
Works well, no issues at all. Connects to my Samsung A70 reliably.

My HJC Smart 20B connected just fine, however I did things in the following order (apps alot of times need to be open before connecting it's associated hardware) opened the app, turned on the unit, entered phone pairing mode through the 20B's configuration menu, then connected through the app not my phones' settings (the link on apps main page that says "connect your headset"). Haven't had a chance to use much of the features of the app yet, so I cant speak for it's functionality at this point.
