A really good app, best solution for remote control. Highly customisable. But all this effort goes down the drain, because they want access to my email addresses and won't let me export my remotes to a file. Sorry guys, accessing my emails is unacceptable no matter how good your app is. Also please add 'duplicate this remote' command so that we can make a copy and edit the remote
Wish it said somewhere that it doesn't support the newest samsung TVs via wifi because samsung doesn't allow third parties apps to do so. Please note the last update was 2018, so don't expect this to work for modern equipment or for it to work in the future. I had to toggle Use Alternative IR Commands to use IR properly on the Poco F2 Pro. There are some UI bugs and adding a remote can be annoying.
An extremely useful app would recommend to anyone with an ir blaster in their phone. Edit: This app isn't working anymore for some reason. Totally puts me off buying apps if they just randomly stop working which is happening quite frequently now.
Almost there. Priced like a full featured solution but in 2020 the dev is forcing an IR shaped peg in a WiFi shaped hole. Will check this app out again, since there isn't a better option, once the UI is revamped and the wifi remotes are out of Beta. I'd suggest adding seamless cloud saves and an online theme and remotes gallery, too, if you want to charge 3x a typical phone app. Lots of potential still in this app!
I got this to use with a projector while I was traveling and it didn't function at all, while the free version did but gave a rapid press effect. I don't recommend buying this without trying the free version first, and then maybe not even then.
Used to work. Best UI/UX remote, worth the paid version BUT it no longer actually fires my IR blaster (LG G5 Tmo). I had it for so long I can't give it a 1 star even though it no longer works, don't know how else to contact the dev. My blaster works on every other app I've tried. If it works for you get the paid version, but I guess the same thing could happen to you so factor that risk into your decision.
Found my Yamaha R-N602 via wifi, but could not control the receiver. Otherwise a great IR ap, although Android supposedly enforces a short delay on IR signals, so it doesn't really feel fast. Widgets could be a great feature, to i.e. put volume buttons on your desktop, but you can't long press them, so its more of a hassle really.
Easy to find/connect to my smart tv but i dont particularly like the button layout. You can customize the button layout but it takes time and is annoying. Where this app really shines is the swipe gestures and macros.
Always used this app whatever phone I've been using. Pity my new phone doesn't have IR so limits the functionality but still use it for WiFi devices. The only thing i wish was better was the sky Q only works with IR and wish it was done via WiFi... If you guys can get that to work then it's a 5 stars from me 😊
Works with all vintage Denon hi fi devices I have with IR support so I just bought it. Perfect. I would suggest to work on the UI as an improvement, it could be easier to use and prettier.
Used this on my old HTC One Max with great success. Downloaded it to Google Pixel XL with IR blaster attached, and now it wants to know my contacts' info for some reason, and won't let me do anything without an Anymote Home ($115? No.) attached. I paid for this app. The dev was no help. Screw Color Tiger, I am uninstalling it.
Got what I paid for: controlling my window A/C which is about ten feet above the floor. Smart IR Remote clearly does much more but I experimented only with the theme editor and peeked at all the menus/options a few times.
I have an ONN smart TV, IR blaster on my phone, but I cannot find this TV in the list. Works perfectly on my other TV, but would be amazing if y'all could add support for the ONN brand, thank you.
Don't need to find the remote anymore with Anymote! A solid, non-subscription app that will work with most anything. That being said, what's up with the FireTV beta? It'd be really cool if that one worked.
Works very well as a touch screen remote! Works 50% of the time or less as a voice/Alexa remote. The only flaw in a well designed app.
Excellent been looking for a replacement for peel remote and this fits the bill, love the macro's, I have given this 4 stars as it does have a few quirks and the UI isn't perfect.
Even though the item didn't work with my TV, I gave this company a good rating becaue they were gracious amd didn't ask a lot of questions on why I wanted to return the item or try to sell me something else when I requested a refund in which it shall be granted. Thank you!
come on dude, give us the same options as ios. we really need support for blasters other than your now unavailable one. you've given support for the rm mini on ios... you have one of the best remote apps available, but you've abandoned the software.
Useless! I try to add a remote, which I assume is what I'm supposed to do. I click TV, then it says searching for AnyMote, then, no AnyMote found. I just want something that'll work with my Toshiba non-smart TV.
I purchased this application to try with soundbars purchased in India under brand 'MarQ' and 'BoAt'. But could not configure remotes for any of those. Can you please help me to add support for these soundbars? And how can I help you to be able to do so? I have an Android phone with IR blaster only, and I use Linux on Desktop, let me know if I can use this app and an external USB IR blaster with Android on Virtual Machine to get you any data etc.
works great for rca roku combo. only complaint is it took several tries to backup and restore the remotes to another phone. but eventually it worked perfectly.
no longer works for IR . only reason it was worth it to begin with. not surprising though being rhat the last update was 4 years ago. just another abandoned app.
This is a great app. I've created custom remotes for the devices in each room for the functions I use most, I very rarely use my actual remotes anymore!
I love the app but would be nice if there was different pre set remotes to choose from with a Netflix and other buttons along with a keyboard.
I have a USB IR blaster for Samsung phone...for the price of the remote, could you at least develop something for phones without the IR blasters and integrate it into the program...
Stopped working suddenly. I paid for this and got no support when I emailed the developer. Other remote apps work fine so I know it's not my phone.
I used to love this app and I'm not sure what's changed but the app is constantly crashing now. There's two spots where this happens. The settings for notifications and when adding a function from a remote to a macro. I was half way finished with the notification remote when this started happening, so now I'm stuck with this half completed remote that I can't change without reinstalling the app. Which does fix the issue for a short period of time but it isn't a permanent fix.
