Absolute garbage, these plugs only connect in AP config, and then forget their settings immediately afterward, perpetually offline and thus absolutely useless. Bought 3 plugs, all failures, waste of money. Update: 9/3/2020 -- Advised by the dev to update the app for "a better experience" - sadly, this is not true, and I end up going through the motions over and over again, tried both methods of setup numerous times, with zero result, these things simply do not connect to my 2GHz wi-fi network thus do not work at all and my review stands; the app and these Mini-K plugs are utter garbage.
User experience is clunky and poorly designed. Foreign language labels and notifications occasionally appear even though the app is set to English. No real justification for its permission requests. No guidance through any tasks. No suggestion of what to do to get it to talk to Google Home (you to select "upload configuration" before the account will talk to Google). It all needs a lot more polish.
The app is a bit cumbersome . I was able to get the device connected and running. I was also able to define a custom remote for an IR controlled fan. I was hoping to use Alexa to control the fan. The app does not support controlling custom defined remotes. I had absolutely no luck getting the device to recognize RF commands which had been recognized by a Broadlink device FAIL!
Couldn't even get to the start screen since it immediately requested access to my storage and refused to continue without it. I just want to pair my konke smart plug, what do my personal files have to do with that? I now have a useless plug. This company needs to do better, much better.
Cant connect to google assistant with IR hub. Reading a lot of the reviews, seems like a common problem. I only bought this for that support. Besides the one thing I cared about, it at least can turn off TV so i give 2 stars...fix my problem and I will update my review
Hmm the app does work sort off 1. I can load and set the power plug to be seen in the app 2. Unable to integrate app in google home : error username password 3. no English version of app 4. Unable to use timer function 5 works great a a converter fro US to AU plug 6 Going back to SONOFF products they work and also work in google home. 7 Company need to pull finger out and work out how to play with other 8 Needs to have a English version of the app
Terrible. Device goes offline after pairing and cannot reconnect to Wi-Fi without manual input. It does not work with Google Home and requires unreasonable permissions to the phone.
I really wish it was possible to make Scenes using remote control buttons that I have programmed. When I try to add a scene it is empty, but I have 3 remotes added to my hub RC
Completely useless. Says not compatible with 5GHz even though I have a 2.4GHz network. Errors not in English. Instructions not in English. Put simply, does not work.
Original complaint about 1 year ago 14 Aug 2019... Tried to sign in tells me p/w incorrect (its correct) forgot p/w noreply frm them! Tried to re-register tells me I am registered! Useless Useless. Couldn't get it to work. I downloaded the Smart iHome-A.I app instead and had no issues. This one is clearly defective.
All my devices are missing after upgrade... yet there is no option visible to import the cloud devices. Google Home works Ok.
Complete garbage. Configured a device then it immediately said i had no authority to operate it. I tried to remove it so I could reconfigure it and it just says "operation failed, please refresh".
I had an exceptional experience with this app. I've read previous comment and I do not agree, I believe the recent updates has fixed all minor bugs.
i bought a wifi plug ( australian socket) but the device cannot connect to my wifi (5GHZ wireless not supported) and the alexa skill is even not available in australia. why selling products that cannot be used? what a waste of time and money.
Words fail to describe how stupid your instructions are. I held my phone so that your stupid camera can scan the QR code. All I got in return is waiting for connection. Useless product.
It worked fine but recent updates removed option to upload settings to the cloud, now I'm not able to use Alexa or Google skills.
It was difficult to set up but I finally did it. I am now trying to connect it to my google home, but when I try that I'm getting an http error 503. Meaning there is a problem with their website.
Can not connect outside my home WiFi . Just buffering . No way to observe outside from my home through my mobile network. Worst app
App has never worked on my phone. Latest update won't even install. Gets Stuck downloading.
Terrible, unable to get pass the accept the agreement on the app. I hate wasting money and these are a waste.

Although there is some English directions, there is not enough to make the app useable.
Can't connect to Samsung note 10. It will not detect wifi

Great product, great app. I'd love to see a 1x1 widget option for just one outlet of our choosing with a long press option to set a timer. So I don't have to use the app or that 4x2 minimum widget with all devices enclosed. Takes up too much space on my home screen. A 1x1 widget button that switches a outlet on and off with a long press option to set a timer on it would be amazing. I only have one outlet I turn on and off a lot.
