Smart Launcher 3

Edit (22-02-11) Following the big issue, the Smart Launcher team rapidly issued a quickfix and I could use the launcher again. I was worried of losing my widgets since I was in the middle of adding a bunch and placing them in a specific way when the problem occurred. The team is great, I am very glad to have purchased this launcher. Thank you ! (22-01-30) The app is not working anymore, I cannot access my home page nor my list of apps... If I hit my "home" button, I am redirected to the app store page and it tells me I need to update but there are no update available! I would like for the categories not to be displayed in this new grey bar, how can I make it look like how it was before ? I cannot find the option.

I've had it for years and this is the first time I've had a problem with it. It says the version is outdated and I need too update it to be able to have an interface. It brings me on play store but playstore says that there's no update. I've uninstalled reinstalled it but it continues to say the same thing. I really love it so please can I have a solution? Thanks Edit: I can't get the themes changed.... That's a pretty big deal cause I really like the SL3 but I'm stuck with the SL5......

Why new update does not work? I get an error message that "this alpha version is outdated, please update it"! But there is no possibly to update and it's impossible to run the launcher. I am on my phone' system launcher. But I would like to go back to smart launcher. I would be grateful if you kindly fix the issue as soon as possible. PS. I give 3 stars till I get back smart launcher on my phone. 01/02/2022. Thank you very much for fixing the issue.

Fast response from dev, even the weekend they summit patch. (referring of the alpha mistake, only Google take so long to aproive the update..)). Been using since 2015. On the "bad" thing since the v5, is the search bar at bottom do not fill the bottom of the screen for the full screen device without buttons.

Installed this on a OnePlus 9 after the Android 12 update took away the looks and a lot of features. Its working great and allowed me to get my phone looking the way I want it. Very configurable. One feature I'd like to have would be to select a category that would always be the one you see first when you swipe up for the App drawer. If I could do that, I wouldn't even need any icons on my home screen.

I've been using this app for the last 4 days and I like it so I bought premium to be able to add more pages but I noticed some issues. Gestures like double tap to lock the screen or swipe down for the notifications panel are working only on the home page so you have to swipe back if you want to lock or pull down the notifications panel. Another thing I would like to see it's an app dock, I think every launcher should have this. Other than that this is a nice launcher that could be even better...

Verry good app. I use it from the begining. Bought the premium. Now I have a fold 3. It would be cool if the screens can get different customizations for home screen. If Im on the small screen and open the phone then the apps remain the same and the widget become wider. I got a way to make them look good on both screens but if I turn to landscape is a total disaster XD

The app drawer is phenomenal. The launcher itself is beautiful. And the integration with Icon Pack Studio makes theming the icons an absolute joy. ...Unfortunately, I have to settle with a 3⭐. Why? Well, because the press and hold to edit the widget feature is WAY too sensitive! It makes scrolling the scrollable widget a pain because the edit option appeared most of the time, interrupting the flow. Please fix this. SL5 doesn't have this problem.

This is my all time favourite launcher. Love the theming, the app drawer with categories, the widget page... It is almost perfect. The free version is pretty well done - Not too restrictive, neither delivers to much, hence making it worth buying. But it could have some improvements. I would like to have the SL 5 design back as a option. Would also like to see improvement in the adaptive theming, which never works as intended. It desperately needs support for Android 12 - app and color theming.

I have never enjoyed an app like this before! It's just amazing. So fast, with great precision! So soft, smooth and beautiful! Developer, weldone ! Smart launcher 6 has crashed and no longer working on my phone again so what's the problem? I still love the launcher! 💕. No where to update? The long distance animation is no longer available, please make it work!

Used, advocated, AND supported this app since the beginning, but latest "update" has been a huge disappointment. Old SL (versions 1 through 5) was super customizable, intuitive, and powerful. I liken this current iteration (version 6) and its surprise update to a Windows Vista style rug-pull a la Microsoft. It's settings interface and setup are now overly restrictive, less intuitive and provide far fewer and more limited customization and options. Plus all my old backups fail to fully load now.

This has always been my favorite launcher and the pro version is worth every penny. I don't understand the 3.8 stars, people are quick to give low ratings due to their lack of understanding or for an issue that can easily be fixed by contacting the dev team. Thank you dev team for the excellent work and top-tier customer service

Really love the launcher and the changes that the team is doing. However this is definitely not super flashed out bug free launcher. From time to time something lags gets stuck. If you are ok with that then it's definitely one of the best on the market. 👍

I am using smart launcher from last one month on my one plus phone . I am really happy with performance and options available for home page . But in app Page search options should be modified. To search with index is very awful experience. I hope you can work on this and give multiple search options in that.

This was my favorite launcher until today. Even the version 6 upgrade was decent if you out enough time to set it up. Today I got a message that the alpha version is out of date and I needed to upgrade, but on the page it's up to date. Now I can't get to y home screen without uninatalling the launcher. Very disappointed. Update: issue has been fixed and it's back to my goto launcher. Very quick response from the developers!

Originally migrated from Dodol Launcher as I was looking for a fresher, modern alternative to get things quickly done. Smart Launcher 6 has a slight learning curve to conquer but once you master the essential controls, the customization posibilities are limitless (Also highly recommend paying for the premium edition to experience the full set of features & get more bang for your buck) 👍🏻

Somedays I spend hours re-re-reorganizing my pages. The options and variety are that many, and I've barely messed with the pop-up widget icons yet. Maybe instead of the option of many pages for widgets have a "table of contents" page that would turn to any app or information type themed page. On the contents page, there could be room for key data points to be displayed for quick reference. Using a feature similar to the app page the contents could each use an icon and shrink to side or bottm

I have used this launcher for years and have enjoyed it more than the default ones on my phones. Today I get a critical error that forces me to the update screen for this app, but there is no update. There wasn't a way to circumvent this problem so I have to uninstall a paid app which is effectively useless. Update: the developers have fixed the issue, and I appreciate the quick and helpful response.

Normally, for this app I would give it 5 stars but as of 1/30/22, Ive been receiving an error making it impossible to use the app. It says that my Aplha version needs to be updated, however, the app is completely up to date. I reached out to customer support and received no response. Update 5/24/22: I was able to use smart launcher as normal back in February after an update. So, I'm restoring my rating to 5 stars.

This was my favorite launcher, but just dropped a star because I really don't like the appearance of version 6 and I can't get the app to stop updating itself overnight despite having unchecked auto updates. I still love the app categories, but now that everything is a widget there's too much padding and everything is scrunched together on my screen, including the search bar that used to blend beautifully all the way to the edges. I just want version 5 back.

Why am I just finding out about this launcher?😭 I swear this is so easy to use! I really like how u can customize everything from the font style to adjusting where u want a widget to be; even on the corners of ur screen.💕 But if I could add one suggestion? When I accidentally removed a widget, I had to start all over. I had to remove the apps icon, then add the widget back in, resize them, moved them to the top left corner, &added the apps back in. Is it possible to add an Undo feature?

Launcher is crashing. Been using for years. Started crashing today January 30 2022. First time having an issue. Please fix. I like the ease and app organization and easy to use interface... Ok after the review above. The smart launcher team contacted me with a fix. Everything is working still love the app and will continue to use it.

Currently when I try to open the launcher, it tells me the alpha version is outdated. Can't get beyond that screen. Bleh. Edit: that issue was resolved but NOW, as of 04/02/22, the widgets keep defaulting to as tall as the page and about 1/4 of the page wide. No matter how many times I correct them. 🙁

Fixed: Suddenly unable to use this launcher yesterday (31 Jan 2022). Uninstalled and reinstalled didn't fix it. Used to be so reliable. Minor gripe is the home screen icons are automatically balanced anymore. Ie if you have 4 icons in a 5 column, it's no longer being "justified" to the width of the 5 columns. But this is nitpicking already.

I really do like this launcher but it seems to conflict with Microsoft Swiftkey. It works for while and then the keyboard won't appear until you change keyboard and change it back to Swiftkey again. I went back to the stock launcher last time but I'm back hoping the issue had been resolved. Not to be!

I have a OnePlus 8 & with the recent upgrade to Android 12, in their wisdom they decided to remove the original OP launcher which I loved. That sent me here after some serious Googling & am I pleased about it?! I now have my icon pack back, a much better organised app drawer & a smooth experience. I'm trying it on the monthly sub which I already cancelled with the intention of buying the yearly one instead. The only negative I have so far found is only having 1 extra homepage for widgets.

Going to switch out from this launcher. It became so slow, especially the search by index feature. I also hate it that the home icon group became a widget. There were times that It got moved to a different page because i was walking while holding my phone. Also almost accidentally deleted it. This was my launcher for years. So sad

The Lord of Launchers is here! I've always loved Smart Launcher, but this new update stole my heart. "Rotate on place" is a feature I've always wished for in a launcher, but could never find, until now. Ignore the strange critical reviews claiming this update somehow lost features or is more restrictive, because that is simply not the case. Also, the customization of widgets in this launcher is unmatched. This launcher allows me to feel as if I'm designing an entire UI, if I want to, and I DO!

It started great but eventually ended crashing every now and then. Plus the lockscreen and the home screen keep turning on a landscape even when I have my settings locked on portrait. I hope you can fix this. Thank you.

After i switch from a Andoid 10 phone to another phone running Android 12, there are some features that do not work properly. (1.) The wallpaper is not scrollable on home page even i toggled 'on' the switch. (2.) The app page background color does not adapt to my wallpaper color.
