Smart Lock - Free
This app runs on Android 2.1+ devices having proximity sensor.
Note: There are some other apps of this kind on market but it has some unique features that make it distinct from other apps:
* No additional permissions required.
* No need to give the app administrative privileges.
* Beautiful and simple interface.
* Very easy to use (don't need to read manual to use the app).
* Small in size and cost.
The main objective of the app is to lock and screen off your smart phone immediately when it is not in use to save more battery.When your phone is in your pocket or in phone cover, this app automatically locks and turn-off the phone screen to save battery.When you pull out your phone, this app automatically unlocks your phone and turn-on the phone screen to make it ready to use.
I got the idea to build this app by using Blackberry phones. It uses sensors to turn-off screen when putting the phone in phone cover and immediately turn-on phone screen when pulling out the phone from phone cover.
There are several apps of this type in market but Smart Lock has some unique features that makes it distinct from others.

Unable to set : * Apply on Boot * Show Notifications * Lock app in memory * Full version (redirected to Google Play for the same free app) Same wannabes and lacks as other Users. So A lot of work to do yet...
It's good app and locks the screen really smartly. But some time it locks the screen unexpetedly when I use it in landscape beacause. Plz do something
A little sensitive. Sometimes screen would go black trying to pull down the notification panel. Makes me wonder if it's "screen off" or true sleep function.

As others have said it needs a disable in landscape mode. Also needs a delay before turning off screen to avoid momentary accidental triggering of the proximity sensor.
When on screen rotation proximity sensor can be off so that it does not off screen.

Nice but it bypasses lock screen
It usage save my battery
All it does is turn if the screen when the proximity sensor is triggered. It doesn't actually lock the phone.

I tried Lots of lockscreen apps that take much memory.they cause to lag my device.But this small powerful app doesent feel it.:D.working fine on Xperia Mini……
does not work as promised. "Lock app in memory" was the main reason for me to buy pro. The free version died quite often. Fix it and I change my review.
it would have been a good idea to give a free trial time as all the main funtions are only available on the paid version, uninstalled so dev has lost out there
Sometimes screen is on for even when sensor covered.
Need more improvment.
