So far so good! However, I would like to see some way to hear each minerals name pronounced. Like a play button next to the name for people who do not know how to say it. That can be so embarrassing when you're new to something and in a tight knit and smart community like rockhounding is, it would just be helpful to not worry about looking like an idiot to people a bit more legit sounding than I am currently when discussing our hobby via fb groups etc
Very impressed with this app, comprehensive, educational and easy to use. Lots of additional information on mineralogy, the classification and physical properties of minerals. Far more than a simple mineral encyclopedia.
Dude. This is hands down the best. Seriously these guys have put so much information on this app. The adds are non intrusive. I recommend this to everyone especially the newer folk just trying to identify a rock from their backyard
This is just the app I've been looking for, with the ability to identify minerals by physical and chemical properties. Any chance you'll develop a "Smart Petrologist" app, too?
Extremely friendly user interface with a huge directory. Offers education on relative topics as well. Best app I've ever downloaded.
I love discovering minerals I've never heard of. Very comprehensive information. Lack of images a real pain though.
Very poor, there is no detailed about any of the minerals. Major minerals are not in this app. Very cheap quality.
You would think by now that there would be more than just a few photographs. Not very useful if you can't see what what the stones are supposed to look like
It's useful, but confusing. No help in classifying my rocks though.
you have to look it up you cant just take a picture and search ad this mechanic and ill give 5 stars

Very useful in precious and semi-precious stones.
There is no share function option in this app maling it difficult to share with social media platfos.

Exceeded my expectations by far!
Love it! Can be even better with Petrology for known host formations (ie. beryl pegmatites), formation conditions, associated mineral's. You know the standard Petrology.... You can find this info on mindat.
It is overall amazing but just one tiny problem there is no geode and i need to know somethings about geodes like whats in geodes or what can i find in them but great app!

I'm for something very simple. I don't need to know composition. Just mineral, ore, common rock. I collect rocks for how unusual, fascinating, color, texture. And very app I try is sooooo frustrating for a visual collector!
