First impressions are that it seems okay. The app is working well and the unit seems to work okay. I tested it alongside a normal peak flow meter and it was accurate. Edit. 23/5/2022 Had this nearly 2 years now. Had to have a replacement as mine fell apart but its still good. The app is great and it is really useful. There is a subscription model coming. Not sure how it will effect people who already have their device.

New to the product and app, but seems easy to use. Had trouble with the device plugged directly into my phone, but works fine via Bluetooth. Much smaller than the standard peak flow meter which is a massive bonus. Hopefully I'll start taking regular readings now which I never used to do with the manual device. Whether it helps with my Asthma remains to be seen.

The Smart Peak flow meter has been great for helping me to consistently measure my peak flow. I have found it more engaging to use than the standard peak flow meter. I love the fact that it's compact and easy to travel with. The app and meter are both easy to use, however the only downside is that the meter seems to be a bit particular about light and I have found that I need to be directly under a fairly bright light for it to work seamlessly.

For the modern asthmatic, this app is good. It records your peak-flows, grades them and let's you look at some basic stats. It also records your daily symptoms and logs reliever uses. The advice it gives is generic though. Export to CSV is nice. Setup for the Bluetooth was a little tricky as it didn't want to communicate at first. The beta "AI Prediction" is a waste of time at the moment. Best it could say after 11 days was "90% chance I'll be in either of the 2 zones I've always been in.

At first I had trouble with the app giving measurements when I hadn't blown. (due to certain types of lights) This has now been fixed. Easily fits into my bag, allowing me to take a reading anywhere, anytime. My GP was impressed when I went in for a review and I was able to show her how my peak flow measurements had been since the start of the year by showing her the graph. My only complaint is that the mouthpiece to the meter falls off very easily.

Not keen on the cheesy wording of the reminders, and the device swivels in my phone port, so blowing into it feels like it might not be accurate. Useful to have a log of readings, though, and it's more precise than the peak flow meter supplied by my GP. I paid for the device at the end of the free trial, and I'm almost convinced it was worth it.

It's a great app. However due to the size and shape of the mouthpiece it can be difficult to get consistent readings all the time. e.g. during my 3 readings I went from 60% of my best ~250 to 91% of my best >400 as its hard to get a proper seal around the mouth piece. It would be great if you made a mouthpiece that replicated that of a standard issue peak flow meter. Also given that a lot of newer smartphones don't have the audio jack port you should include the appropriate adapter in the price

Newly diagnosed asthmatic so much easier to use than bigger peak flow meter and paper chart. The daily reminders are great too so I don't forget to take my preventer each day too. Would definitely recommend as when Dr asks how my asthma is I can quickly show them my chart on my phone which most of us carry all the time....! It takes a few minutes to connect and use but it really is so convenient and easy to pack and take away.

The meter needs a good light source, so can be a little frustrating to have to go to another room to use it. Would be good to be able to use without phone and load up data afterwards as I don't take phone into my bedroom. Overall good tho, with reminder prompts if you forget. Would be good to be able to amend notes that have previously been written. Would be useful to be able to enter which inhalers have been used as I use combi of reliever and SMART

As a data analyst, the only way for me to control my asthma, is to have sufficient data about it. As a busy person, I don't have time or patience to use manual peak flow every day. I was searching for the best solution to record my breathing performance and minimise the possibility for errors. I can honestly say that Smart Peak Flow changed my life. It made this boring everyday task easier and more fun.

Results are similar to a manual device. I frequently get ridiculously low readings and have had to delete and download the app many times. If you are prepared to put up with that then you may be content. I am frustrated with the overall performance.

Love it... Just received and installed.. Accurate and completely simple to use this even tells you when you should contact medical help. Reminders to use it Bluetooth enabled. Absolutely a million times better than the old peak flow I have and so portable. Price may put you off but I recommend you at least try the 30 day trial I guarantee you'll never go back to the old way

Have just started using the app and it is pretty accurate to the air flow meter that I got from the doctor. Only problem with it is my phone case, doesn't always allow the meter too sit fully in the 3.5mm socket, but that's my problem not the meter. Pretty happy with it as easier to take away with me as small, and I don't have to remember too record the peak flow for my doctor's review.😘👌

I have only just started to use the app and device, but have to say it's easy to use, the charts are easy to understand. Also the ability to share the results with my Dr, make it a huge plus point, rather than having to keep a diary. The reminder function is also great 👍

This little device is a big improvement on the dumb devices you are usually given. Firstly it records all the measurements so you can easily see from the app whether the trend is up or down. It is also more accurate. I compared my smart peak flow readings with professional readings from the hospital and they were pretty close whereas the mechanical meter I'd got from the doctors was way out.

Frustrating!!! Such a shame. The concept of the device and app is brilliant but the execution is missing. The device is hit and miss as to whether it will measure or not. Ive checked the turbine and ensured there is suitable light source for the vane to interupt but still nothing. I have thrown the PEF head away and gone back to Manuel PEF metre and an asthma app to record results. I do have a Huawai phone and although it is google driven, there is an adaptor in the headphone jack.

The meter and app are fantastic, really simple to use and it means I can have my peak flow readings to hand all the time, which really helped recently when I visited the doctor and he asked for them. If I hadn't been using this device and app I wouldn't have been able to recall them so would recommend this to everyone.

After finally getting my device to work the app is now started as of yesterday flinching out and trying to open constantly on my device when I am using my device for other this . Is anyone else having this issue ? Is there any way to fix it ? Hi there I've also done the update and this has not changed anything . I've also tried to uninstall the app and reinstall to see if this would help . But it hasn't changed anything .. what would you suggest ? Thanks

like the idea but can be temperamental. sometimes shows readings when i've not blown, and the mouthpiece needs to fit a bit tighter (falls off to easily). Good, but lots of room for improvement.
