Smart Task Launcher

Great app... When it works. I'm running the latest vanilla Android, and ever since I've been using this app (several years) it will randomly stop working... It shows that it's working in the taskbar, but isn't. Even stopping the app in settings and restarting it doesn't bring it back... It just comes back eventually, usually. Restarting the phone will also work. Further, the "automatically start" when the phone is switched on has never worked. At all.

Great idea, consistency issues. Installed this as SwipePad (my all time favorite) stopped working and is not supported anymore. Great idea, BUT there is a huge problem: some apps stop launching (randomly) which makes this unreliable. Send email to developers, but no reply, which is a poor practice for a paid App! Please fix and get your 3 stars back.

I have to say, after testing a lot of edge screen launcher, this one is simply the best! It's the fastest and also memory efficient. It has all the features I want (folders, shortcuts, recent apps) and it's just fun to use. I hope, the developer continues to support this app

It is indeed the best swipe out task manager, and I checked out all of them. a few requests: Can you add a separate vibrate option for when the actual action is successfully triggered, as opposed to when the hotspot is pressed? Also is it possible to pass through actions not handled by the manager to the desktop (so for it doesn't interfere with icons, scroll bar, widgets etc). Finally how about the context menu from Swipe Pad? (link to App Info for current app)

Works well. Have used this for a very long time with no complaints. Very good and dev continues to support. My only issue is you can't change the font color in the launcher function. So if I have a wht background you couldn't read the app titles. But I just always use blk background to avoid this issue.

Doesn't launch apps anymore unless you are in the app itself. the app launcher opens you select the app, it displays the app name but then it doesn't open the app. Tried reinstalling which didn't work. Wrote the developer and no answer, even though I have paid for the app. Edit: managed to fix it by allowing under permissions: "display popup windows while running in the background" (MIUI Global 11.0.2)

Very good and customizable launcher, no problems. I came from SwipePad and this is exactly what I was looking for. One small feature request: can the developer please make the vibration time of the hotspots fully customisable (and not just increments of 10ms as it's now)? With some phones (like the Pixel 2), even 10ms gives too strong a feedback, 2-3ms would be enough. I hope this small amendment will make it to the app soon

Great! But this app stops running when I use "Recent ~th App" without being in recent apps. I'm sorry for my broken English. "Recent ~th App"がRecent Apps に存在しないときに"Recent ~th App"を使うと、強制終了（ホットスポットが消える）するようです。

It does the job and it does it amazingly! After many years with SwipePad I had to switch because it has been discontinued and not anymore supported by Android P and I am really happy I did since it is even better!

Excellent lightweight side launcher app. It is very very snappy. Best of all it does not have unnecessary permissions - it doesn't even have network permissions! That's just the ultimate sign that the developer is genuinely committed to just making the app do its job well and do it snappily and not hog resources by stealing user data or downloading ads behind the curtains. The dev has my respect for that.

Of all the swipe and edge screen apps, this one offered the best mix of features and usability, and also let's you use widgets for free. Highly recommend

Running on Pie and virtually every time I wake the phone its stopped running. Would have been an almost guaranteed 5 for this, but if it wont stay running I can only give it 1.

PLEASE BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL "OVERLAY LAUNCHER"!! It would be amazing if you brought back the original version and updated it a little bit , in my far superior to smart task launcher in my opinion.

Doesn't work anymore - randomly stops launching apps, I guess development has ended :( it used to be great..

App is ok (5 stars)... but developer don't respond to anything??!!?? (1 star)

the launcher keeps getting shut off on android 8 oreo on asus max pro m1. :-( I already set it to not be battery optimized. hope it gets fixed. this is the best launcher period. simple, no fancy stuff... it just works. but having to "turn" it on ruins the utility. maybe a widget? to restart it (when it gets shutdown).

Icon pack have error when try set single app icon, will be nice if have option deplay start up

Android 10 problems

I LOVE that you can launch separate cutomizable launchers from different hotspots (w/pro version) & simple actions (back, home, recent etc.). Applying custom icons to each item crashes when applying directly from an icon pack, but works fine with images from your gallery. Using ThemeX, I extract the icons from an icon pack to my gallery and problem solved.

I finally replaced this with Everywhere Launcher since STL dev never fixed bugs. Clunky and confusing to set up. Worst bugs are that icons cannot be changed via standard icon packs, and frequently it stops working, even though the notification says it's still there.

Use it 100 times a day! Love the integration with recent apps. Love the swipe features. I operate my Note 2 and 3 with one hand now. Only thing when I want to take a picture in landscape mode, the touch area is in the way. For me not an issue, but for users who lend my phone for a picture, it is. So I made it a bit thinner. Would be a nice option indeed to deactivate it when using certain apps Edit 06-2015: Note 3 updated to 5.0. Now swipe down (open notifications) is not working anymore. Please fix.

Still my favorite launcher (2 years later). Allows you to access programs from any screen as well as other things.

Everything works as it should apart from Direct dial shortcut, if I select a number as a direct dial I get an error message . Direct dial works OK if I use it from my home screen. As an improvement suggestion , if you can make the hotspot hide and a slide gesture to make it visible would be nice . Cheers .

**Edit: Issues mentioned below have been resolved for some time. Moved back to a Galaxy from V20 and no issues. This is a 5 star app.** I've been using STL for years now (Pro - totally worth it), but recently my additional launchers don't work. Launchers 2-4 are assigned to show from swipe gestures from a different app. They've always worked fine until the most recent Android update. Now I can't access anything but launcher 1. Please fix as I love STL but this error is very inconvenient.

This app is phenomenal and has been a lifesaver for me across 3 phones. One thing that would make it perfect would be better edge compatibility with Samsung phones. As it is, hotspots don't register along the curved edge of the screen.

If developer dude have its own phone in focus than I understand his "NO SUPPORT at all" point. But I face Issue - on MIUI 8 MM Xiaomi Mi Max 6,44. Trigger sizes to huge. In BOTH dimensions Hotspots should have 1% 2% 3 % 4% sizes instead of current 5% . Fix that.
