Smart Tip Calculator

This is absolutely perfect. I was a long time user of Tip & Split but they have gotten greedy with all the ads. The huge load time while it caches all the full page ads in Tip & Split has gotten unacceptable. This app is fast and does exactly what it's supposed to do quickly. Please add a donate link or something I would love to give you some money to never add ads.

Excellent! Like others, I was using Tip & Split & someone mentioned this in their review. I would pay for this app. Easy to use, works well, no ads so it loads fast, and does more than Tip & Split. The "change" screen is an awesome feature. Very well done!

I have tried dozens of tip calculators. Some have a few more esoteric features, like the ability to move Junior's extra 2 orders of French fries to Dad's shvre of the bill. But none of them serve the basic functions of a Tip Calc as elegantly (read Simple & Logically) as Smart Tip Calculator.

Deleted my previous post. I was wrong. I misapplied the tax calculation function. It was a "senior moment" on my part. I have been using it as per your tutorials with good results. Thanks for a good usable app that works well.

Easy to use and handles pre- and post- tax cases. Also, calculates a variety of split options and change. What else could anyone need? The best tip calculator I've seen.

A simple and clean interface for tax exclusion calculation using either the rate or amount. Would be great if it could tally individual items in split checks (doing just my share) like the now gone 'Just The Tip'

Really like the part where you can split your part of the share the bill by email and other apps. It's a really useful feature.

Fantastic app with only missing feature being dark mode and option to scan receipt. Widget could be helpful as well

BEST TIP calculator out there, no doubt. Tip sheet should show: TIP Amount TIP % Any increase/degrease in Change would affect the TIP

Yahoo!! That is great. One more thing, really just one more, but it is more complicated. If there is a coupon being used, or the manager gives desert for free, I still want to tip on the full value before the deduction so the waiter is not cut out. Can there be a field maybe on the other tab that identifies that amount. So (55 - 10 (the free desert)) + 55 * 20% --> 45 + 11 --> 56 in total and not 45 * 20% + 45 --> 54. With coupons and such I have to use a calculator instead. Thanks.

Tax calculation is not working properly after the latest update. Please fix. Ex. $100 purchase, tax rate 8.25%; tax should be $8.25, app. shows 7.62 ?? Got it! THANKS!! **update: the VAT (ValueAddedTax) does NOT apply in the USA - that is where I was confused. Where I live In Texas, sales tax(not VAT) is 8.25% . Taxable item is priced $20. 8.25 % of $20 results in tax of $1.65 with $21.65 total. 20% tip results in $4.00 (20% of $20) = $24 total *tax Excluded. OR $21.65 (tax Included). OK.

It is simple to use. The layout of content is easy to follow. Best of all, free of ad! Highly recommend!

Kudos to the developer for adding a sales tax option. With that done, this app now tops any other tip calculator app. The interface is well laid out, with warm, friendly aesthetics. It's a joy to use.

Perfect app. Would like part person in the change calculator (3.5 of 8) when you split some one's bill like for birthday.

Easy to use

It lets you adjust any individual component of the bill. Very easy and the most flexible of all the tip calculators that I've seen. Makes up for fancy looks with better functionality.
