The hassle of printing job cards, finding available people to do the job and never knowing the status of completion has now been made easy with Field Deployment Manager Smart-View. FDM Smart-View helps you create and push jobs to a mobile application for field users to accept and complete or field users to complete jobs without the hassle of you creating anything.
With FDM you can have your administrators issue jobs that have all the needed information such as description of the job, address of job and GPS co-ordinates of warehouse location for a field user to collect inventory and complete a job.
You can also keep track of the job progress status. The web interface gives you real-time information on how many jobs are pending, assigned and completed.
How does Field workers get access to the issued /created jobs?
With the FDM mobile application, all jobs created will be displayed on the homepage. All field workers who have the application and have been assigned by the administrator as a field user, will have access to view these jobs. They will click on jobs they intend to accept and it will be stored for them to gain full access to the details and GPS navigator to the service address and if needed the warehouse address.
The mobile Application as a generic platform
The FDM Smart-View mobile application can also be used to create generic jobs. This is for instances when an administrator is not able to issue a job on time, as well as for unforeseen situations that require the immediate job to be done.
