I decided to get this app based on all the great reviews...HOWEVER, this app has just been one huge disappointment. I lost an entire one hour interview...a very important interview...that I would like to be able to hear but cannot. First of all, the option for stereo or mono? WRONG...only mono is offered. The ability to use it for phone calls? WRONG...because I tried that and it failed. I followed all tips to set it up. Still didn't work. I even emailed the developer and there has been no reply.
This app is by far the best voice app I have ever used. I have never experienced such high quality play back. As a novice singer it is very important that I am free to belt out those awsome lyrics without having to tinker with this button or that button this app allows me to press one and start my concert. Supper easy. Thanks smart voice recorder!!!
I have used this app since summer of 2020 now on my third phone. This app version of 2020 will still be good a few more years. It records in audio HD. The same as quality HD music subscription services we buy music or stream. I use this app to practice singing with background from a Bluetooth speaker. You can not get any better quality technically than THIS APP, on any smartphone for any amount of money. Thank you app maker. May you be blessed for your quality free work.
This app has many more functions than I need. All l want it to do is simply record my voice in mp3. It is doing that, so I am satisfied with it. But, of course, it can do much more than that, especially editing on the phone, with a very intuitive and attractive interface. Of particular importance, it allows me to save on SD card.
Pretty good. Use it to record hypnosis session to play back at home daily. Very sensitive sound pick up. Very convenient to have on Tab. Occasionally the sound falters during playback, getting quieter, with some small bits of static. Enjoying the app daily. Keep up the good work!
One of the best working record apps I have used. If I was going to critique anything, it would be nice if there was a meter to use when calibrating microphone manually.
This application does a good job of making short (4 or 5 seconds) audio files. I am 80 years old and I am writing descriptions of things I remember for my daughter. It's easy to interrupt my writing and quote a radio bit or sing a commercial to send to her. I gave four stars because I haven't tried it for anything long. But I like the app.
Experience is very good. But it can be improved. When the microphone is in auto mode (default) it is very sensitive which is good but catches even the sound of breath. Tried manual mode and it gives some kind of internal sound in all settings from 0 to max.
A near-professional level audio recorder and editor on par with Audacity and Audible, limited only by the cell phone's limitations, which has nothing to do with this app developer's amazing feat. And I never write recommendations so this is the real deal.
love this app like anything. I just recorded the first song, very casually, just to experience how does it sound nice all. I'm really surprised to see its other features like cut n all. So now I'm sure that I can cut the desired part and store it. Not yet seen whether there is something more to explore. Still would say that I'm too happy 😄😃😁
Editing my review I say the app is 99% perfect for me.The main issue is that it needs to give more options for audio formats like AAC,M4A etc to save storage.I would like to rename the the storage folder or create new.Adjusting mic sensitivity may give distortion on results.Gives options of saving to sd card and has many more great features.Job well done.I like it!!!
You can hear everything in the back grown clear, It just took a while to figure out, how to save the voice record or even pressing play, but I still was empress with the app. With giving the option to make a title of the conversation.
Good quality playback, but don't appreciate the pop up adds that take over the screen during middle of viewing sound files, interrupting my train of thought to which one I was going to edit/convert from mp3 to .wav files. Can also save to Drive which is helpful. If not for giant ads I would give 5*'s. So far besides this, it's a good app for what I need it to do.
