Good app, only needs distance (meters/ft) between points and it will surely be the best area measure app on the market!! Keep up the good work!!!
By this app I successfully measured the area of my field in google map. It is very useful in measuring area.
Possibilities, difficult to control. When dragging pin, finger gets in the way. Difficult to select pin for movement. Needs help function or better menu.
I liked it. Just would've liked it if you could download an area map once and not every time you open the app. Will also like if you could name a marker. And save a plotted are as a jpeg of pdf file for later view. Otherwise I think it is a great app.
Pull up your map, select points around the perimeter, and your perimeter and area calculations are made automatically. Selectable English/Metric. Exports a .png with screenshot and a .kml with coordinates in HTML. No real instructions but it really doesn't need any.
I have tried it,,,the distance measurment is ok, but the area is wrong and not accurate at all,,,plz try to fix the area accuracy problem
Downloaded more then 5 different apps, this one worked the best. S3 phone
Not a bad start. I like that you can mark on a satellite image. Two major drawbacks: (1) Once you place a pin, you can't move it. (2) Results are only metric (square meters or hectacres).
Could definitely benefit from extra features like moving pins undoing pins and measuring distance in a line
This is the only map that will show measurements along the side, which is helpful when you're trying to digitally see your property line. The only thing that would make this better is if you could change the font color. In satellite mode, I couldn't see some of the texts.
