SmartBank Mobile Banking

I used to really like the app but not so much any more. The easy login pin doesn't work most of the time and I never get the transaction alerts I used to get. The app itself is fairly easy but it doesn't work like it used to. Getting answers or solutions for the issues is impossible.

I like this app in general. It's clean and easy to use. I wish I had tge PIN option back. Instead I need to enter my whole password each time, but that's not a huge deal. :)

Updated. Love the convenience of this app. Haven't encountered the past performance problems in quite a while. Don't know if they were related to my phone or the app.

It is fine except the deposit process has too many screens that just get in the way of an experienced user. Why have to hit continue to get past a non useful screen?

This app and this bank has it all, easy to use.. I was with Sevier County Bank for 40 years. Should have moved to Smart Bank years ago. Glad they made the acquisition. Excellent customer Service.

This app is horribly buggy. I'm constantly having to call and have it reset, as I get locked out every few logins. Not to mention even if you opt in to have it remember your ID, it doesn't. Nor does it remember the pin you set, and so you have to reset the entire app at least 4 times a week. I'm pretty disappointed in the app overall. It's not very user friendly, and the bugs and glitches make use almost impossible.

I cant view my accounts with detailed transactions having the option to make notes and or see copies of checks.. There is no financial overview or any other reports ..

I almost never post reviews of any app even if they are terrible, but this one is the most frustrating that I wanted to. It'll work sometimes but a lot of times it won't. Constantly can't connect to the service and display my account. Just so inconvenient and annoying. Honestly the absolute worst banking app I've ever dealt with.

The Smart Bank app is easy to use and allows me to do banking without leaving home.

App stop sending notifications with update. Now you can't get told if ur account is being pinged

Average, it is easy but very basic.

Trash app in a world full of great banking apps. Any of the generic banking apps that many banks use are 100x better. No fingerprint access and worse I have to enter my pin AND password multiple times just to do basic functions. App crashes on first use EVERY time and have to reload the app. Just absolute trash.

Best bank I've been with going on 4 years now. Just wish they had more branches and a longer grace period for overdaft fees(especially if it's an online subscription recurring fee, which is the ONLY way it can overdraft my account).

The purpose of installing a bank app is for quick access to your account. This app annoyingly disables any quick way of using a secure password to login. Google password manager or even pasting of a password does not allow sign in. It also does not support fingerprint based authorization. This means you are forced to type the password each time you open the app. Almost completely unworkable for a strong password.

This app is terrible. I exchanged my device for the same device (warranty exchange) and everytime I sign it it forces me to use a text verification to access my accounts. I've called customer service on this issue numerous times and I get vague answers as to how long I should wait to see it stop. One rep said 2 days another 2 weeks. Previously you would do this verification process on your first install only if you enabled the application to remember your User ID. It defeats the purpose.

Easy and self explanatory

This app needs serious updates! The server is busy message gets annoying. It would be nice to get a notification when a deposit or withdrawal occurs. This app allows access to my account but the features are extremely limited. Step it up

Im sorry but this banking mobile app is terrible. Half the features do not work. It crashes nearly every session. And there is not way to set a pin for quick access. Literally the one thing the mobile banking app is for is convienence. Smartbank reallly needs to rebuild the app entirely. Great bank. Horrible app.

This app will no longer work on my Android phone. I have been unable to access my account since the latest update in February of 2020, even after uninstalling and reinstalling numerous times. I have taken my phone to my local branch, and they also have been unable to get the app to work. This is extremely frustrating!

WORST APP of any kind anywhere. Now it's telling me to update because server no longer works with my version. Even though I have the latest version, I click update, because I need access to my account. It takes me to the play store which confirms I have the latest version and there are no updates. APP still won't let me log in. Even after reinstalling APP. F THIS BANK.

This app was working well for me prior to the update. Now I can use it maybe once or twice and it white screens on me. The only fix is to uninstall and reinstall. I have given up until another release. It's unusable.

Good banking app overall, however my main reason for mobile baking is to deposit checks virtually. It will pull it up to deposit a check and then say "mobile baking is temporarily unavailable." It's been saying that for months and months. I might be doing something incorrectly but if so no guidance has been given. Please resolve this issue.

Love mobile deposit. It's fast and easy

App seems to go back to default settings periodically on its own. Would like if you could schedule transfers, pay bills, etc in the app instead of it being an immediate thing.

2nd time having to uninstall & reinstall. We rely on this app in running our business and wish it would continue to work correctly. It's become a big hassle, including sending out low balance alerts that are false. May need different bank soon.

It crashes all the time. I have to check my accounts everyday. Or I have to transfer a few times a week and it always crashes when i need to use the app. Its very disappointing.

I have been banking with Smart Bank for the last decade, and I have never been more satisfied with a bank. The app works well and is easy to use. I work night shift so it makes it super handy for me. Thanks for being the best bank in the area.
