Dropping my review from 4 stars to 1. Doesn't work and it appears developers have abandoned ship. So disappointing. It works okay. Sometimes the weather temperature is off a few degrees in my area compared to what other weather apps state and this is where you have to be the judge to stay in a turnout sheet or go to a medium weight blanket.

I'm glad the bug got fixed so it actually gives blanketing suggestions now. BUT, there still seems to an issue that needs to be fixed. Every day and night there is an orange triangle over the high/low temperatures. If you click on it a box pops up that says "it looks like it's unseasonably cold tonight, we've factored that into our blanketing suggestions ". It says this even though it's been unseasonably warm. The app has been recommending a heavy blanket in days in the 40's. Please fix!

This app has been great up until recently. Not sure when the issues arose, as I live in Florida, and only use once we reach "winter". Will not allow past set up screen, just continues to attempt to load. I removed app and reinstalled because it wouldn't allow edits to coat and weight, for same reason. I've always had android, so can't say that this issue is specific to them, although it does appear that only Android users are having this particular issue. Ultimately uninstalled and downloaded the horseware app instead

Having the same issue as other reviewers have. I have an Android and I can't get past the set up screen. The advice may not be 100% accurate due to incorrect weather information, but I did enjoy taking it's advice inconsideration when deciding on blanketing my horse. Really hope they get this issue fixed soon. Kind of surprised they haven't yet.

Disappointed. I used this app years ago and loved it. Last year I downloaded it again and couldn't get it past the start up screen. I eventually gave up. This year I decided to try it again. I was finally able to get past the start up screen and add a horse. Now I can't get the screen to load that tells you what blanket to use. Step it up smartpak and fix your app.

This was my favorite app for years. Was spot on most of the time and you could adjust settings if an indivdual horse needed to be warmer. I kept hoping SmartPak known for its customer service would fix the issue. They updated in Jan and said bug fixes/performance updates. It did NOT fix it. Do not waste your time, it will not acutally load recommendations the loading screen just spins and spins. HorseWare has an app but I have never bonded with it. I will look and see if they have an update.

I've had this app for a few years and rely on it every winter to see when i should change blankets at a glance. I got a new phone (Pixel 2) and the app wont load past putting my horses info in. It also doesnt like when I manually enter a zip code. i have been having this issue for months and hoped that it would be fixed but it hasnt been. Im really disappointed.

I'm having the same issues for my Android... Won't go past the setup screen. Tried many different ways, reinstalled, etc. Very disappointing! Everything Smartpak is usually so wonderful. I always download this app in the winter and double check it against my normal weather app. It is a great app... When it works. Help, Smartpak!

I have been using this app for several years, however when I updated it this year I can not add a horse or change the coat or living conditions(inside vs outside) of the current horse on there. I am fortunate that i guess it is accurate for what settings were already in place....PLEASE FIX THIS! EDITED TO ADD: Can now update horse info, but the blanketing screen will not load!!! Why tell people you're going to fix it then don't!

Having the same problem as everyone else, can't past startup screen. Assumed it was because it wasn't compatible with my new Pixel 3 but looks like other phones are having the same problem. Too bad, I enjoyed this app when it was working. Hope they get the bugs out of it soon

UPDATE: Just tried reinstalling the app and setting it up again, no joy. The app still isn't working, and can't get past the setup screen. SmartPak Equine, your customers really need this app right now! _____________ This app used to work great. Now when I attempt to add a second horse or change the information on my current horse, the app logo just keeps spinning like it's trying to update but after an hour of waiting, I deleted the app and started over. Still getting the same result VERY DISAPPOINTED! It used to be a great app.

Previous version was good, but at some point my data got wiped off of it and now it doesn't work at all. It would occasionally suggest a heavier blanket weight than necessary for the weather, but for the most part it was a good guide. It's really too bad it doesn't work anymore.

I have an android phone, and it cant get it to work past the set up screen. It stops when it starts to load and freezes. It worked fine when I had an apple phone. Wish it was fixed since it was so helpful during the winter months.

Never gets off loading page. I can put in everything but when I submit it it just brings up the loading pages and never gets off of it. I loved this before the up dates but its not working with my lg stylo 4. I'll have to see if there is a different blanketing app out there to use, since winter is coming up and both my horses are outside and its supposed to be cold this winter.

PLEASE FIX THIS! I really enjoyed the convenience of this app before and it was incredibly accurate for my area. I used it almost daily from October to April last year. Now it's time to start the blanket shuffle and the app is still not fixed. Super disappointing.

Don't even bother installing this! Super disappointed in SmartPak - which is something I never say about them! This app used to be a perfect tool and run smoothly, but in the past year, as others have stated, it just keeps loading and never gets anywhere. I'm really upset that SmartPak comments on reviews and says they are working on fixes for this but they were saying that months ago with no updates.

So I had this app recommended to me. Can't get past the setup screen. From reading reviews, this has been going on since Feb, its November. They haven't updated this app since Feb 2017, nearly 2 years. Clearly they have absolutely no intention of fixing this. I'm going back to my Horseware app.

I previously used this app on a different android without any issues, but since having to replace with a new phone the app is no longer working. Just like others stated, I cannot get past the setup screen. I'm confident in my blanketing, but this was nice to have as a reference and to share with others who may not be as confident

Ok when it works on my device. I think it could be improved by taking into consideration more about the particular horse/pony ie breed or coat type ex a TB's unclipped coat and a welsh pony or draft cross unclipped coat ARE NOT normally the same. Not even all TB coats are the same so being able to adjust that might make it work better. Activity levels also should be a factor.

I had this app installed and used it a lot and it was spot on as far as the weather conditions. But this is 12/17/18 and for the past week it has not worked. I got a new phone and it was transferred to it but of course I had to re-enter all my horse's info. But the problem was that the city I put in before where my horse lives it will not accept it. I tried my own city 20 miles away and it does not recognize Mesa, AZ either. Whats happening? I gave you 5 stars prior but today I will give it 1 star. If it gets fixed I will give it 5 stars again..

Was a great app when I had apple products. Now I have android products and it won't go past the set up screen. Pretty dissappointed to be honest. I loved it with my other phone but it seems like everyone who has android is having this issue. You would think they would get to fixing but I guess they don't care? Who knows.

Used to be a great app. Now it constantly has a false *warmer weather warning*. Literally says the temperature is uncharacteristically warm and that I'll only need a light turnout, yet shows the real temperature, which would normally call for a medium weight blanket. I miss when this app was accurate.

The app worked great last year, but now I can't get past the startup page. I'm using a Samsung phone, and it seems like others are having the same issue. I hope it gets fixed; I did appreciate the blanketing recommendations last winter.

It worked when I first installed it even though I think it tended to over blanket on warmer days but I would adjust with my local weather reports. But when I needed to make changes because of my horse's weight change, the app wouldn't let me.

I download this app every winter and delete it in the summer. This winter I cannot get the app to go past the setup screen. What a disappointment. When it works it's very useful.
