I just bought a 1 month subscription a few days ago. It's not too bad. I'd like to see some improvements which I will email them about. I am used to Google Navigation. If these 2 could work together, it would be great! I'm not totally sold but if I get a good response from my email, I would consider a 3 year subscription.
User the app twice after paying for the subscription. I am not happy with the purchase at all. First off the app directed me to "cars only" streets with very low bridges that I had to find my way around with 40 passangers aboard. I feel ripped off by this app. Doesn't seem very smart at all. I did not miss a recommended turn on the particular leg in question. I made sure to follow the directions closely, as i was nervous in that area of Boston.
I have used this system for three days. What do I NOT like about it? Not much. >>>I wish it had an audible tone (other than voice) to give me the final turn prompt. I have a$400 Rand-McNally TND 740 that is being sidelined by this app. The doorbell prompt is something I miss from that unit. >>>I wish I could load this on multiple devices (two would be good) under the same account and email. As it stands now, I would have to buy a separate subscription for each device. My other options are to buy a phone with an even larger screen or start a tablet plan with my mobile provider. The aim here is to get a larger screen display. Unlike car usage, bus usage places the screen at a greater distance, and makes everything smaller and less visible. >>>I have not tried it, but it seems like using it on a WiFi tethered device is not recommended by the manufacturer. This comes out in the FAQs. It appears that this disables some of the functions. I wonder if this a means to control licensing. In New Jersey, buses are permitted to use the Garden State Parkway, as long as operators are aware of any low clearances along the route. Trucks are restricted from some or all of the roadway, depending on weight. The TND-740 actually stopped navigating, because I would not remove the 18 to 25 ton motor coaches I was driving from the Parkway. I had to underreport the weight on the unit to get it to not do this. This meant I had to be more wary of absolute weight restrictions, since the unit would not alert me to those that exceeded the entered weight. One December morning in Delaware, on a construction detour with a fully occupied bus, I narrowly avoided entering a bridge with a 5 ton restriction. This app is designed for professional drivers, drivers whose livelihood depends on safe and timely operation and delivery of passengers and cargo. Unlimited software and map updates, realtime traffic, live incident reporting and IFTA and HOS recording are indispensible. This is a more than worthwhile business expense, fully deductible. Thanks to this app, T-Mobile is likely going to be happy when I purchase one of their data plans with a "free" tablet to accommodate this app.
Could not find better option for charter buses. Garmin's did not work for us. This is a much better option when you run it on a tablet.i do not care much about phones.
Excellent tech support. Helped be to transfer my subscription to a new Samsung tablet. Most useful app for bus navigation.
i have asked to be refunded 3 times in 3 diff ways and havent heard a word. they tried to fix an issue which is fine but do NOT like the app set up. PLEASE REFUND ME! hoping someone will see this n respond this time....im in DC n dont have time for this. THNX and sorry
Use this app for 3 years. Excellent routes when it comes getting in and out of major cities.
So far so good, ive used the gps to get to upstate New York and around the Boston area. The true test will be New York City and Washington D.C. I will give 5 stars after.
Great on East Coast. The best app for charter buses. Tried Rand. This app has more updated maps.
Our bus charter company switched from Germin to this app. It appears all drivers happy about it.
This app don't give you Bus Route directions. You can get on very big trouble if you didn't know.
Tested several options. One of them is Garmin. Smarttruckroute is better.
We have 15 busses in our fleet. We all use this app. Much better then Rand.
This bus navigation system so far more then acceptable for my intercity travels
Checked many options including Garmin and Rand. This app by far more superior for routing and and avoiding restrictions.
Proper routes for charter bus. This is the only nav program we use in our fleet of 6 busses.
Our company tried rand and Garmin and they less precise then this app. We are buying more licences.
The Gps Avatar is way far from the road, not working properly and u let them know and they dont care..

I have fleetmof 10 buses. My drivers love it.
Not a good routing app. It has numerous and significant flaws as partially noted below. I didn't use it enough to properly assess it after paying the subscription fee and asked for a refund of the unused portion of the annual rate I paid after the 48-hour window. They would not refund even after I pointed out the flaws, and instead asked that I submit a tech report each time the app is in error. I shouldn't have to do that...don't launch an app until it's ready. It's only redeeming feature is being able to select which travel stops to show on the map. - It twice tried to route me on a road known to be closed every winter. Google knew it was closed. - Can't zoom in/out or scroll around the map when an active route is running. - Can't select a location other than current location, which is helpful when trip planning. - It caused me to enter a no-exit area where I had to do a 4-point turn to get turned around in downtown Chicago because it thought I was on lower Whacker rather than upper. - When the destination is in a crowded downtown area, the last turn it says to take is sometimes in the middle of the block where there is no road. - I didn't take a turn it wanted and when trying to reroute the map fluttered and the voice sounded like a record skipping.
Maps not up to date regarding constructions and closed route. First time (and only time i tried the app), it directed me to a highway entrance that has been closed for more than a year for repair.
This is better then Garmin. Routes good. No trouble there. Traffic and road closures updated Recommend
This app is horrible. Tried to use it this morning on a dry run of my bus route. It takes forever to re-route. It won't queue to the next stop after you make it to the destination because it wants you to drive up the driveway (where the point maker is on the nav map) of the person you're picking up. You have to fiddle with the app in the middle of the drive to activate the next stop until even that just stopped working.
